I will be in court ALL day tomorrow..morning and afternoon session. I'll get there early to make sure I get a seat. Their body language is all pretty subtle in terms of changes. They are all quite stone faced.

I am watching them like a hawk. Partly because it's hard for me to not go out of my mind watching this defendant and/or Nurmi.

Tomorrow watching Juan M. though will be different. I'll be fascinated in her body language.

And where's that hairstyle?

That's funny because nothing indicates JA trying to get away from Travis.

- Travis apparently paused from chasing her so she would have time to go get the gun from his closet

- Or he just walked past her and into his bathroom while she got it (essentially, conveniently cornering himself)

...And because she was trying SO HARD to get away... she runs INTO the bathroom.

Protip for ya, JA: If you have a loaded weapon in your hand, you can run away from a naked, unarmed person - and to safety - with a high likelihood of success ... no matter who's gun it was.

You were armed and all you remember is "trying to get away" by
running towards and shooting your alleged naked, soaking wet attacker.

Even my dust bunnies are in stitches with incredulous disbelief, (and they're pretty gullible...)

Not necessarily. See a previous post way back that I made showing how a pool of liquid can migrate on the floor and end up surrounding the casing.

Example casing lands in clean spot. Pool of blood migrates because of slant on floor and ends up surrounding the casing.

It really doesnt matter much to me whether she shot first or last because I think she was the agressor the whole time. I dont think Travis had any kind of argument with her. I think she just ambushed him.

could do that if the floor had a slant to it but there would be a blood migration trail,,i cant wait for jn to bring this up to jodi and see he try to lie out of it

I've always been convinced she'll be convicted and sentenced to death. But today it seems to be pretty unanimous and people are having less ambivalence about it.

Agreed, but just for fun let's see Juan ask her to do the following :

1) Try on the boy's spideys in front of the entire courtroom a la Johnnie Cochran;
2) Demonstrate her amazing vertical leap;
3) Color her hair in 10 minutes or less;
4) Tow a car with the car in 1st gear;
5) Record his entire cross on her Helio;
6) Remember what day of the week September 4, 2006 fell on

I'm sure I could add many others, but we really do need time to disprove all of her lies from today.

I was wondering if the jury was buying any of this.. If so how could that even be possible?? But I'm glad to hear that it appears all the sane peeps are on the same page!

Yes. I've always thought this was a case where a second degree charge would have been a slam dunk. This pros has overcharged with 1st degree before to wind up at a manslaughter verdict.

The defense would be thrilled with a guilty to second degree verdict. An intentional killing but I think 16-22 years punishment. She's already done almost five years.

When I thought I heard that too I said to my husband how does she know he is a Mormon. He said she meant travis but I still kind of think she was referring to Flores but I don't know lol.

I think she actually elaborated on that and tried to make it sound like she was protecting Travis, with the implication that Flores was Mormon, Travis was Mormon, they didn't talk about sex like that. Anyway - I recall that at the time of that statement it did not sound like a mistake and she was referring directly to Flores being Mormon as a hinderance to her elaborating about her shameful sex
