Frankly she is bogging the whole thing down in a tussle of semantics. She has succeeded in slowing progress to a snail's pace and in so doing, has somewhat deflected the impact of JM's points. Frankly she is enjoying the fight and showing the jury a side of her personality which Travis and many many others must have been hopelessly frustrated by.

JM needs to get the murder pictures on screen and see if the she can still switch to leaking nasal tears like she did in direct exam.

I am not so sure i am loving JMs tactics; she is really enjoying this and attempting to show how smart she is. I am certainly not a prosecutor but I would have started the cross with the interrogation with Det Flores where she says she would never hurt Travis and if she did she deserved the death penalty and i would go from there.

JM is brilliant. Liars often can only tell their story one way - in sequence. If you jumble the details around, they lose flow. Since the events never happened, it is literally like trying to say the alphabet backward on demand. You could do it, but it takes tremendous effort. If something really happens, you can discuss it easily backwards and forwards. The jumping around is KEY in this case.
