Interesting to ponder, Boodles. I have also wondered about the close-up photo of Travis' face, where he looks threatened/worried/frightened(!). How could she take that photo (holding a camera) while also holding a gun or knife? And if she is only holding a camera, why does he have that look on his face? Is it then only because he is annoyed and/or upset about the shower photo-taking? Or perhaps because she surprised him and he was unaware that she was there? The camera is a larger model camera - not easy to hold with one hand. It doesn't seem likely to me that she would have been able to operate the camera while also holding a gun (but I could be wrong). I wish we better understood the sequence of events. Perhaps it will be clearer after today's testimony.

On IS they just showed the other shower picture of TA where he has his arms/hands crossed over his chest. This has always struck me as an odd posture for someone taking a shower. Does it strike anyone as odd. jmo

Hi all! Tried to read everything from the weekend, but of course, just couldn't keep up!

Just a few of my thoughts... the picture of TA in the shower, IMO, he took alot of pictures with this same look, and I don't think he was unaware of her taking the pictures. It's always struck me as somewhat odd that he is not 'washing' himself (if he indeed was not aware of her there, I would expect he would be washing himself and going about his business) I think that because we know what happened, we are looking for a deeper meaning to the look. JMO As for the quality of some of the pictures... I think it's because some were only recovered as thumbnails and were distorted when blown up.
I hope we hear more about the phone call today. I always assumed that it was Jodi that recorded that call, but when the computer guy was on the stand on Thursday, it did cross my mind that it could have been TA that recorded it or had it on his computer too, although I think it's more likely that it was JA.
I sure hope that we don't wait for hours for the trial again today. I already have supper on the go and the plan is to watch all day! lol

I find myself saying "so what" frequently. Not sure DT is presenting case from point A to point B.
Dirty little secret...so what? JA accepted relationship on those terms.
12 year old girl having first orgasm...so what? JA could have hung up.
Male genitals pic on somebody's hard drive (yet to be proved whose)...so what?
TA enjoying sex...so what? What 30-year old man doesn't?

Show me he was violent or abusive...all testimony thus far has failed to prove that.

I personally think the defense are playing with fire by making Arias seem complicit with their interpretation of Travis' sexual proclivities. Why didn't she go to the authorities when she was 1000 miles away and report his suspicious behavior? Why didn't she tell her family and friends when she was 1000 miles away? Nope. She just let a raging pedophile remain totally unaccountable because she was in fear for her life...1000 miles away.

Whether Travis was abusive or not even the inference of pedophilia raises the stakes a lot more. What people who are in abusive relationships will not do for themselves they often do for others. Hell, assuming she had evidence that was apparently damning enough to absolve her of culpability in his murder she could easily have made an anonymous tip to law enforcement.

Hey guys, when posting a picture to the thread can I ask that you resize so it doesn't blow the margins? I have never had one blow the margins at 500 width but maybe Nurse can give better size requirements as I have my font larger due to bad eyes.

I also have my page set like Nurse to 50 posts per page - so blown margins make for a bunch of vertical scrolling!

Katiecoo, I hope you feel better, a respiratory infection/fever just went through my entire family and it is lingering, let me tell you, so do try to take it easy.

I just want to send love and prayers your way today after everything you went through over the long weekend here. I watched it unfold but didn't say much. I hope things are in better perspective for you. You are a good person with a beautiful heart who cares a great deal for family victims- keep up the good fight... people need what you have to give.

God bless Travis family and loved ones, my heart just breaks for them. All any of us want is justice for him and I think Juan Martinez is just the man to get it for him.

That picture of Travis has looked like a combination of emotions to me. It has become the 'you're still here' photo for me showing his exasperation and sadness that Jodi is still there in his home and that he can't even take a shower in peace.

I think she started taking his pictures to disarm his suspicions about what she was about to do. Taking his pictures allowed her to get in real close to him without raising any alarms from him.

Claiming someone is a pedophile is a bit of a stretch for TA telling Jodi she sounds like a 12 year-old during phone sex, don't we all agree? If defense had more than that I think we would have heard something by now. jmo
