The DT lawyer was shaking her head no when Juan asked a question of the witness as if to tell him how to respond. Anyone else catch that? Is that allowed?

I was able to rewind and oh yes, she was looking at the witness (or in that direction), shook her head and mouthed the word "no".

This defense is an absolute joke. she comes across as totally inexperienced, and he looks like he is asleep, what the jury must be thinking, god only knows. I understand they don't have a great deal to work with, but for goodness sake. If i were on that jury I would be scratching my head thinking where is all the evidence of abuse that lead to murder. What have we heard so far, they had an argument on a camping trip lol. The rest of it, i would be thinking seriously, what is this all about?

Maybe DT's strategy is to drum up sympathy for JA be being absurdly, comically incompetent?

After seeing Travis' house, especially bedroom closet, there is no way he would have something made that looks that bad.

Maybe he made it look bad to make her parts look better.

Or maybe the letters are straight when she puts them on, because her parts are "off" as well. Kinda like two wrongs making a right? :floorlaugh:

I have a feeling the jury isn't going to have any question for the computer guy.

IMO any time they don't have questions I think it is because they don't find the witness relevant or have any insight.

It's like asking a librarian to look up a book for you and then getting mad they didn't read it for you as well. It's not his job to investigate outside of the scope of forensically analyzing computers and like devices.

There is a picture of her wearing a shirt "like" it. Is it your opinion she made that one as well or do you think that one is real? Just curious...

Can someone explain the relevance of the penis pix? No jokes or snark, but seriously. The guy said he didn't know where they came from, but they were given to him by counsel. What up with that? I am so confused! Why attempt to admit penis pix if there is no substantiation where they are from?

I am assuming those are the pix Juan referred to as his last question....maybe I'm misunderstanding.

You hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what Jaun is referring to. Basically Juan is righting the sins of Defense from last week. He's pointing out that def's witness was intentionally vague (or at the very least def atty's) about the second (damaged) hard drive which we now know to be Jodi's. He's also pointing out that Def singled out a rock group out of thousands of internet search entries and had the forensic witness detail it in his report -because the title of the song looked a lot like . And Juan is pointing out that the penis pictures bear no relevance at all because they more than likely came from Jodi's own computer.

Agreed!! It's sad - I recall my friend posting that video on my myspace page which seems like a million years ago.

In defense of the Defense team, they basically have nothing to work with, they have to do something, anything to make it at least appear as though the murderer is recieving proper counsel
IMO they are just throwing things out there with various "experts" to prove she is getting a defense. They know darn well where this as all heading and they are part of the process...

The "possessive" Tshirt, in the given context, actually has me thinking the opposite of what the defense is suggesting. As some of us have discussed here and as I recall some girls back in my college days, these "property of" shirts are most often affectionate OR (as I believe in this case) the female staking HER CLAIM on the guy.

Now that we learn this was after she murdered him and we know she was attending his memorial, sending flowers to Travis' grandmother, and interjecting herself into his friends/family's life -- I get the impression she was trying to play the part of his widow, continuing her distorted self-importance and obsession with him.

I keep thinking she can't get worse but through the defense's own witnesses and evidence I'm proven wrong over and over.
