I'm in no way an advocate of spanking, because of my own issues among other reasons. But I get the feeling that she is realllllllllllly streeeeeeeeeeetching these and making them into actual no-holds barred beatings. Her childhood sounds like mine...relatively normal (although my parents' idea of discipline backfired). Not buying it. Nope.

This is all bullchit. I have a musical son who's in many programs. It's disciplined and raises self esteem. If she was beat, I sure would like to know the reason.
