My husband and his brothers were beat with a belt and verbally humiliated by their father and his father also supported them in football and wrestling. My FIL actually tried to punch my husband when he did not want to attend the Mormon church. The abuse was so bad, my husband's father's "devil belt" was mentioned at FIL's funeral! My husband lacks empathy. Not saying JA is lying, but abuse hurt my husband.

I got the belt, I was also slapped in the face, and screaming was a daily occurrence.

Oh, yeah...I also got pregnant at 16.


Still haven't stabbed anyone dozens of times.

Then again, my life isn't over.
