Oh wait.... I got it!

She shot him in the bathroom. Then the two if them rolled together in the hallway .... as he continued to attack her....she was on the floor and had to reach around him to stab him in the back!

Yeah, and she just happened to have a knife handy - along with the handgun, all within reach during this 'attack'.

Been trying to catch up and this has most likely been pointed out already but doesn't Jodi appear to have light makeup on today? I think so.

I thought so yesterday too. Compared to all the other days.

And it looks like there were two bids for that one, but they were back in February and March of 2012. One bid was listed as "expired," and one bid was "declined".

I could never be romantically involved with Juan. He would be impossible to argue with, he thinks way too quickly on his feet. I would never win an argument.

He zips around the courtroom like he's attached to a jetpack. He was probably working on a dissertation about elementary school playground injustices when he was in kindergarten. I'm a fan!

So far, I am really loving the fact that the jurors get a chance to question the witnesses. I may change my mind, later, though. It seems fair both ways at this point.

Does anyone know if they have rules re: their questioning? Are some of their questions not admissible, for instance, if they are leading or based on hearsay, etc, similar to the attorneys' rules? Are objections allowed during this portion of the testimony? TIA.

There is something that isn't making sense to me. On one hand it is reported that she was very into him, on the other hand it is reported that she was just a shell of a person. Those two seem to contradict each other.

bbm

Not really. She was into him to the extent that it benefitted her in many ways: nice vacations, he had a nice house, probably nice gifts, would they someday get married and she would have nice things, too? I think she used him and couldn't stand the thought of him walking away. JMHO

I'm sorry... he just blew the defense attorney's questions out of the water!! lol

I'm not watching - with which particular questions? TIA!

from seeing the picture of his body in the shower when he was found, I honestly dont think its possible. The shower was not very big and he was in the fetal position kinda sitting up, slumped to the side in the shower. I dont think its possible for anyone else to even stand in there with him...

JMO

Wouldn't be shocked if she stood on him.

I agree the defense is totally hanging on the gunshot happened first. Because it's a lot harder to believe that Travis was still mobile enough to come after her after the neck slitting. It's the only way to explain the overkill and make it seem even half way plausible that it was self defense. Which is why they fought so hard to get Dr. Horn to say that the bullet DIDN'T bass through the brain, which it did.

So basically I don't think it matters a hill of beans which happened first. Both the neck injury and the gunshot wound would have been enough to incapacitated him. So she either slit his throat as he was dying or dead or did it when she shot him. The evidence seems to point it was the gunshot that was inflicted while he was already dead.

And what proves Travis was still mobile enough to clutch that sink and retch blood? Not the slit throat or shot to the head because either of those would have him fall to the ground. The stab wound that nicked his heart would cause blood to fill his throat and yet not immediately incapacitate him.

So why would the defense not go for the first wound being the stab to the chest instead of the bullet that was not a miracle bullet and did go through his brain?

"No jury will convict me" tape is played. Total silence in courtroom.

Yep, Curious Me -- just let the comment, testimony, picture, or recording "settle" in the courtroom like a bad odor... That's what good prosecutors do (or good defense attys). Nothing needs to be said -- just let it hang there.

The judge reads everything and if it's not phrased appropriately, (s)he will put it in proper form. The witness can respond and the attorneys are given the opportunity to ask follow up questions of their own if they have any. I haven't seen how this court handles questions but in some cases lawyers are brought over during a sidebar to read the juror question along with the judge, allows all parties to prepare and get on the same page. Every effort is made to make juror questions "askable".

--> none of this is specific to Arizona, so don't quote me on AZ policy!

He was nothing more than an object to her. She's incapable of love. He was simply an object that could provide her something she wanted very much. When he refused to provide it, she killed him. She had no use for him anymore.

Did they let her use her mineral foundation make-up brush today?
