wouldn't she HAVE to take the stand if she doesn't admit it in any interview? There's no other way for the "evidence" to get in. Attorney questions aren't evidence and they can't argue it in closing without evidence. correct? She can't have other people claim it, it's hearsay.

maybe they do have a statement or something

When the detectives were doing that, I felt it was not good because they were just encouraging her to keep lying. I suppose it was a tactic to catch her in more lies. She sure took the bait and told some "whoppers". LOL

He just gave her the rope, she could have given it back with the truth instead she hung herself with it by lying.

omg... that part in the video where she says, "he was still alive" is so creepy!!!

I truly don't know what kept the detective from reaching over the table and shaking her, telling her to snap out of it. She certainly has not mastered her body language in terms of her being able to cover up a crime. jmo

I know when she was drawing the the camera cards she has he wanted to grab the pen from her a couple times and ultimately did end up taking it from her. She was trying his patience for sure and it showed just a tiny bit. Now maybe he was worried about her having that in her hand too. jmo

What totally creeped me out was when she nearly begged to see the pics of Travis after death! How sick is that? :what:

Her body language was the least of her problems! She's really a terrible actress!

It is so sad that she said he was holding his head and screaming. But yet, when she "escaped", she didn't call the police? Ugh. Ugly ugly person. But in truth she murdered him. She truly hated him because she couldn't have his life. Thought she could sleep her way, excuse me, sex her way into taking control of his life! MOO!

expert testimony is there best bet if she doesnt take the stand.

Did anyone save the link/post where Travis's former girlfriend, ( Linda or maybe Lisa) posted photos of Travis and her dancing?

do you guys know if she ever admitted that she killed him?? or was the ninja the last story???

I had asked that too and seems that when she claimed self defense, then tried to get the fake letters entered into evidence, that was it! Not sure if she ever verbally confessed and that is soooo confusing because her Attorney said in opening statement that there is "No doubt" that Jodi did it...

On Tuesday, Arias' younger sister, Angela Arias, said her sister's statements during the "48 Hours" interview were lies, and that Alexander's death was an act of self-defense on her sister's part during an incidence of domestic violence.

"She was not under oath when she spoke on TV and yes, she lied," Angela Arias wrote on Facebook after The Huffington Post sent her a request for comment. "But, it was because she was so in love with that man she did not want people to know what a monster he really was. She wanted everyone to believe that he was as amazing as they thought he was."

Arias' third story is detailed in recent court documents as part of a request she made to admit electronic copies of letters allegedly written by Alexander between November 27, 2006, and May 27, 2008.

"Defendant had previously attributed the crime to intruders. She now argues that all of the letters must be admitted to support her domestic violence defense," prosecutors wrote in a motion to preclude the letters. "Defendant argues that the letters are relevant to her claim of self-defense and that she was a victim of previous 'sexual and physical abuse' by Mr. Alexander."

Arias, according to prosecutors, is claiming Alexander "became angry when she dropped his camera" and she was forced to kill him in self-defense. Angela Arias made reference to this defense in a Facebook post Tuesday.

That really bothered me. She was raising her voice and was almost excited. Morbid curiosity my tuckus. She wanted to relive what she did like Ted Bundy did.

Who should the Anthony's apologize to? In the end, they were crushed by her lies too. imo

Cindy got up there on the stand and purjured herself. She was a victim of herself.

if they don't have video of her saying it was self defense I could see her taking the stand

:moo:

Right, because if it's not on video, who else could make the case for self-defense? Someone has to say it, and since there were no witnesses, it comes down to her.

Now wondering if it's on video... Does anyone know if she told the police the self-defense story or just her attorney(s)?

OTOH, if she testifies, what a mess it will be. She's a trainwreck.

Agreed. It irked me that she received no punishment. We are talking about the same woman that refused to admit her daughter was 7 1/2 months pregnant.
