Omg, you found the 48 Hours episode? Pray tell, where? TIA!

You have no idea how excited I was to finally see it!:great: I was glued to the screen.

OT a bit...I was just watching the 48 hours episode, and couldn't help but notice the pictures they showed of Ryan looked NOTHING like the man we saw testify against JA.

If they hadn't said who he was I wouldn't have known. He looks quite different now. MOO and all that. :-)

Do we know where the cash came from that she deposited the morning of June 3? Two deposits of $300 and $400 I believe. Did anyone check to see if she really stayed with friends the night of the 2nd? Sorry if this has already been addressed - I havent been able to watch as closely this week and I'm curious...kind of scary to think she had a gun and a knife while hitting the road and then suddenly a wad of cash. Just sayin...
Welcome to Websleuths, Sleuth13, Carol2, and Somethinghere!
:welcome:

Yep, she stole that money from someone. Was it Travis, her grandparents, or some other unlucky person?

Some of you mentioned you wanted to see the 48 Hours interview with Arias. I just uploaded it. It is processing as I post this but should be ready shortly. Here is a link: http://youtu.be/HelfB6s-Raw

Much appreciation for this show which I missed when originally aired. It never ceases to amaze me how calmly Jodi weaves all these lies into her interview.

Oddly enough I think he was more attractive when he testified! :blushing: My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts, but hey. :rocker:

So on that former cell mate's FB page, she wrote that Jodi was super sweet, she serenaded her neighbors to sleep every night.

Those poor neighbors, can you imagine trying to sleep with creepy JA singing lullabies? OMG, SOME of them had to know how crazy JA is! Nightmares for life.

Just a few thoughts....

I keep going back to those pics of TA in the shower...when I saw the last one of him alive, he looked sad to me, he looked like he had been crying IMO.

On NG they talked about the fact that JA had on clothes during this murder. IMO she was supposed to be leaving.....maybe she did leave....

I think that Travis got in the shower thinking maybe she was gone or at least within moments of leaving. IMO whatever set this murder in motion.....sent JA off to get her weapons.......and left Travis in the shower crying. Those last few pics of him alive shows a man "stressed out". You see him leaning up against the wall and kneelijg in the shower. In the one pic of him holding his chest l, IMO he was praying. I also agree that the first pics were dark because JA was not using the flash. Was she spying on him then?

Imo TA did not know he was being photographed.

He didn't know until that very last pic of him alive. She surprised him, especially if he thought she was gone. IMO, that was the first look at JA kneeling outside the shower with a camera in one hand and a gun in the other.

Thanks for uploading this, David. Hopefully they'll let it stay up for awhile. I just watched it and man, she comes off as one psycho woman.

Talk about a threat to society. I hear y'all talking about CA, but I don't figure CA will be out stalking anybody like this woman.

She must be put down.

This story from ABC News yesterday says:
Arias admitted to killing Alexander in later interviews with police.
and
In interviews leading up to her confession, Arias was confident, leaning back in her chair and resting her head in her hands on the table as she calmly told Flores she was not even in Arizona when Alexander was killed

http://abcnews.go.com/US/jodi-arias-nervous-crying-told-final-lie-killing/story?id=18220830

There was discussion earlier about whether she actually confessed to police or her admission of guilt came by way of claiming self-defense and/or the defense opening statement.

I know I will probably get slammed for this post - so only if someone has the patience to reply - I will appreciate it:

At the end of the 48 Hours episode (which I just watched - thanks!), it says that the trial will take place in 2010. What took so long to push it all the way into 2013?

I hope to God it's only an issue here and not for the jurors.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Me too!!!
But I also think if there is conflict on here there might very well be the same with some of the jury.

She is very scary. I'm glad David did this because I had not seen it. ITA she is a threat. shiver

I believe some of the delay was due (in part) to the death penalty being on the table, JA also representing herself for a time and eventually admitting she was in over her head and needed counsel.

I'll be up in Phoenix this weekend, was thinking about stopping by the Maricopa jail to see our girl. :jail: Anyone want to send a message to her? ;)

Tell her that she sure has given us a hole lot to talk about.

Watching a close friend of Travis on NG saying that Jodi had been into Wicca!
Although she had told him it was in her past, is that witchcraft? Seriously?

  • #1,618
Watching NG. NE just said that they will eventually publish the forged letters, as well as other letters not yet disclosed by and in possession of JA's mother. I think NE is trying to deflect the flames to come by acting as if they're outing delusional JA forging these letters. Makes me SICK to think to think anyone (NE, JA's mom) is profiting from forged letters written with the sole intent to leave a mark on TA's reputation, or at least try to. Ugh.

Was it known prior to the trial that the story would change to Tale #3 of "Yes I did it but it was self defense"? (Tale #1 - "I wasn't there, it wasn't me", Tale #2 - "Ok, I was there but I saw two Ninjas do it".) If so, when did Tale #3 come out? Was it in the early stages of investigation? Or in one of her jail press conferences with the media? How and when did Tale #3 become known?

Yes, prior to trial SD was put forth as an affirmative defense.
