I know I will probably get slammed for this post - so only if someone has the patience to reply - I will appreciate it:

At the end of the 48 Hours episode (which I just watched - thanks!), it says that the trial will take place in 2010. What took so long to push it all the way into 2013?

Carol, Lots of the delay had to do with the # of pre-trial motions filed and needed to be ruled on. Having the trial date pushed back is not unusual, but having one delayed this long had to do with the nature of the case and the # of items to rule on prior to jury selection (outstanding discovery, evidence, witnesses, etc.).
If you'd like to see all of the filings you can go to the criminal court of maricopa county's docket sheet and see a list of what all was filed (hopefully this link works)

**this link was suppose to take you directly to her docket but it appears you are going to have to click on case history and enter her name

Some of you mentioned you wanted to see the 48 Hours interview with Arias. I just uploaded it. It is processing as I post this but should be ready shortly. Here is a link: http://youtu.be/HelfB6s-Raw

"that Cancun trip, that really just makes me roll my eyes because we had both known about the Cancun trip for over a year, and never once was it discussed that I wouldn't be going with him."

Stuck out to me too. The way JA words her statements are so telling. "we had both known about the Cancun trip for over a year" Well, of course Travis knew about the trip! I think what she wanted to say "i had known about the Cancun trip for over a year" ya, thanks to her snoopin'! Probably just waiting for him to extend the invite...for an entire year.

Thanks to David Lohr for posting the 48 hours, I had seen it years ago but seeing it a second time really brought a lot home.

Detective Flores firmly believed the gunshot wound came first, probably still really does. The start of filming had to have been at least three months after Travis died, I just do not see him reversing his opinion, he probably like many of us believes the ME is wrong.

You know, it is really difficult to decipher exactly what she says. I can't tell if she says "would" or "wouldn't" (be going with him). I hear "would-ee". I hear "...because we had both known about the Cancun trip for over a year and never once was it discussed that I would-ee be going with him."

So on that former cell mate's FB page, she wrote that Jodi was super sweet, she serenaded her neighbors to sleep every night.

Those poor neighbors, can you imagine trying to sleep with creepy JA singing lullabies? OMG, SOME of them had to know how crazy JA is! Nightmares for life.

now i think jodi has her own stalker - imo :floorlaugh:

When I watched the entire episode the first time, that's how my brain processed it, too: that it was never discussed that she WOULD be going with him.

the jury doesn't know her entire defense - that she is gonna say he flipped and she was defending her life

The jury does know that aspect of her defense if they were listening to the opening statements, as defense atty said "Had Jodi not been forced to defend herself, none of us would be here. In that 1 minute, had Jodi not chosen to defend herself, she would not be here." It wasn't elaborated upon, but it was introduced.

- AND the defense doesn't want then to think she had help - that totally blows her self defense story!!

Maybe not, but the jury is asking these questions regardless of what the defense might want. They asked if the roommates had been fingerprinted, and if they had alibis. I'm just pondering why they might have asked those questions.

I'm very tired, plus was spooked (by the aforementioned falling object as well as the 48 hours episode - thx again to poster & uploader! - anyone else notice TA's friend mentioned one of our exact theories), so I may have no idea what I'm talking about right now. Calling it a night!

I agree, IMO! She wanted to play it off like she was totally cool with this trip, cool as a cucumber, no problem here! :floorlaugh:

Yes, I heard: "... that I would even be going with him." Meaning they both knew she would not go...

Thank you, David Lohr, for posting the episode!

Any thoughts on who the other person was who rented the car with Jodi?

Per the transcript: "That Cancun trip -- that really just makes me roll my eyes, because we had both known about the Cancun trip for over a year. And never once was it discussed that I would be going with him.”

WOW!! I was looking on the Court's Docket and I didn't realize her attorney's filed a MOTION IN LIMINE TO PRECLUDE REFERENCES TO MR. ALEXANDER AS THE “VICTIM” -- seems sad and cold.

This one confirms her atty's knowledge that she feels no guilt: DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO PRECLUDE THE STATE FROM ARGUING LACK OF REMORSE DURING ANY POTENTIAL SENTENCING PHASE

There are several Orders to Seal Documents listed -- so much evidence is out there already so I'd LOVE to know what all has been sealed!!!!

I heard someone talking about Jodi wanting her mom to publish letters from TA with The Enquirer!! WHAT????? Seriously?? I did see a MOTION FOR DISCLOSURE BY ORDER OF THE COURT OF ORIGINAL LETTERS PURPORTEDLY WRITTEN BY TRAVIS ALEXANDER and REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL DISCOVERY RELATING TO THE ASSERTION THAT THE LETTERS SUBMITTED TO THE COURT ARE FORGED --what's going on here?? From the little I heard, they probably are forged -- he texted and emailed so surely he didnt literally write a bunch of letters, right?!?!?!?

Yes, I heard: "... that I would even be going with him."

I think you nailed it. I agree - I think it is the slurred word "even" stuck in there.

Just a few thoughts....

I keep going back to those pics of TA in the shower...when I saw the last one of him alive, he looked sad to me, he looked like he had been crying IMO.

On NG they talked about the fact that JA had on clothes during this murder. IMO she was supposed to be leaving.....maybe she did leave....

I think that Travis got in the shower thinking maybe she was gone or at least within moments of leaving. IMO whatever set this murder in motion.....sent JA off to get her weapons.......and left Travis in the shower crying. Those last few pics of him alive shows a man "stressed out". You see him leaning up against the wall and kneelijg in the shower. In the one pic of him holding his chest l, IMO he was praying. I also agree that the first pics were dark because JA was not using the flash. Was she spying on him then?

Imo TA did not know he was being photographed.

He didn't know until that very last pic of him alive. She surprised him, especially if he thought she was gone. IMO, that was the first look at JA kneeling outside the shower with a camera in one hand and a gun in the other.
I agree...from the moment I saw that first pic of him looking at the camera I felt he was not posing for her in an intimate way. And if I remember right I think the photo expert, Mendez(?) mentioned the first pics were taken with a zoom lense which definitely makes sense. It wasn't until yesterday though that her being clothed made sense, but if TA thought she had left then she totally had the element of surprise on her side.

As for the pic of him holding his hands to his chest, it almost has the feel of foreshadowing...he's holding his heart.
