jury questions:

Q: Were there any sets of knives that appeared to be missing a knife?

A: No. We didn't find anything like that.

Q: Was the gun used to kill Mr. Alexander found in Ms Arias' possession?

A: No, it was not.

JMO ... but it sounds like this jury wants to SEE the "murder weapons" ...

Seriously ... how many killers keep the murder weapons laying around in their possession ?

:banghead:

Q: Why were the fibers found at the scene, sandles, and pillows not sent to compare them?

A: We didn't feel it was necessary at that time.

JMO ... but it sounds like this jury is looking for a complete CSI effect ...

Q: When you personally interviewed Mr. Alexander's roommates was there ever a mention of their concern for his extended absence June 4 thru June 9?

A: No. They believed he was in Mexico already. They didn't know his schedule.

Q: What were the alibis given by those roommates?

A: One was working and the other was actually staying at his girlfriend's home and they were house sitting for her parents.

Q: Were the fingerprints of the boarder taken to see if they matched any at the scene?

A: Yes. They were.

OFGS ... the roommates have been CLEARED, jurons !

I just canNOT believe they are even going there !

:banghead:

Q: Did Mr. Alexander have a boarder or another person living in the house?

A: No. Just the two roommates.

OFGS ... please don't tell me they are "believing" this Ninja Turtle carp ...

OR believing that someone else helped JA !

:banghead:

Q: With regard to the knife or gun: was Mr. Alexander's old BMW searched?

A: No. It was not.

:waitasec: OFGS ... duh, jury, she would have never disposed of the murder weapons in the vehicle ...

She drove over 2800 miles so there were plenty of places to dispose of the gun and knife ...

(for those who missed the questions)

:seeya: Nurse !

:waitasec: My :twocents: FWIW in red ...

:moo:

The only insinuation that she was changing her story from the kamikaze ninja murderers to something else was on the TV interview she gave where she said something along the lines that this will all be explained at trial. She was quite smug about it, I remember that. And like I posted already her attorneys are her mouth pieces to present her and in opening statements the def. atty stated Travis died as a result of self defense...

She stuck with the ninja story until 2010 when she tried to admit the forged letters. Then she was stating it was self defense to her lawyers. She's never talked to LE about self defense.

No seal yet on the live stream but no reruns of 'The A Team' or 'Gilligan's Island' either.

I thought of that too. I wondered if she went over the dam or the bypass bridge. Either way, there would be places she could dispose of the gun where it may never be recovered.
MOO :-)

Just seems to be a good spot since planned on claiming never in AZ why not throw them over.
The bypass bridge was not there in 2008.
IMO the best spot to rid of weapons, rather than a trash somewhere random.

Don't blush too much yet -- I've not found a link working today. Anyone?

They are due to start soon, but they usually run 15 minutes or so late, so I'd say within the next 30 minutes.

Haha...true. I should have said, shorter than even the usual short days! ;)

I echoed this same sentiment last night and somone sent me the docket for the Judge and all of the judges.....wow they are busy. Do not understand why they give the judge on a DP case with so much hype so many more cases to keep up with. They need to elect more judges, IMO.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but I'll throw it out there...

Does anyone think if TA had filed a restraining order that this would have turned out differently? Theres a big part of me that thinks JA was already to fixed on her dream to let a restraining order make a difference. I'm curious what you think...

I have a quick creepy story about that new over pass road at the dam. This guy killed himself jummping off of it and when they went down to recover his body they found the skeleton of another guy a little ways away from him.

Yep - after watching the 48 Hours "Picture Perfect" where JA said after she fled those naughty ninjas, jumped into her car and drove and drove until she ended up in the middle of the desert, I wondered if she buried the murder weapons in the middle of the desert?

Sadly, no. I think it would have ticked her off even more.

Couple questions:

1) Is there court today?

2) Will we see psychologicals on this girl during the guilt phase? I cannot wait to see that stuff.

3) Anyone know how the jury is structured? How many have to agree for the counts? Are there alternates sitting in currently? Same jury for penalty phase? If there is jury misconduct and a mistrial occured, can the state bring charges again?

#1 is answered! Anyone else take a crack at the others before the show starts?

One positive I can see is that a seasoned Prosecutor can adjust how he is presenting the case if he can read what the jury may be missing or not understanding.

Oops, that looks funny. This was in response to the concern over the ?s the jury has asked.

I think that with Jodi's tenacity, a restraining/protection order would not have prevented this.
