With all that blood you would think there would be a footprint or two. Also, don't mean to be gruesome, but is it possible Travis was already dead when the headshot photo was taken? Maybe that is when she ran the shower on him? Just a couple of thoughts I had.

I have a feeling that Jodi ambushed Travis on the day he was killed.

I agree. I think she did it right after convincing him that she wanted to take pictures of him in the shower because she liked the droplets and wanted a picture (or however she put it).

I think he was stabbed in the heart, he tried to defend himself and got the wounds to his hands, he stumbled out of the shower and aspirated on the sink and mirror before he fell in the hall face down and was stabbed in the back on the floor. She drug him back to the shower and cut his throat. When he didn't die right away...she grabbed the stolen gun and delivered the final shot.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that she apparently had no injuries from this attack on this poor victim...blows my mind she could do this and come out with nothing. SMH.

Let her in or allowed her to stay? Yes, obviously. How do we know? There are photos that show what they were doing.

Absolutely not! She had mentioned in one of her lengthy gab sessions to someone that she used to often sneak into his house and surprise him in bed. I think that this is what she did that night and found him on the computer. I think the fact that they didn't have sex that night was a good indication that Travis TRIED to keep his distance from her. I even doubt that they went upstairs and slept together until 1:00 pm in the afternoon. I think he stayed on the couch and let her have the bed.

I think that it startled her that he was up at 4:00 am when she got there as this was when she probably planned to shoot him, while he slept. She had to alter her plans at this point.

When they woke up, I believe that she did what was her "go to" practice of seducing him with sex. At this point, I don't think that any of it was about sex, but for Jodi to complete the project she came there for, to kill him. I believe this is partially why everything was so chaotic, because she had originally planned to kill him in his sleep and when this didn't happen, she had to kind of play it by ear.

Hearing you put it that way, I do agree and should clarify. I am 50/50 on if he invited her. I do 100% believe he let her in.

She did have injuries -- specifically, a couple cuts to her hand that had bandages on. If she had other injuries, those are unknown. Same as OJ Simpson - he had that big cut to the knuckle of one finger after stabbing 2 people to death and slitting their throats.

He was too busy trying to get away from this raging maniac.

Even after the first stab that pierced his heart he would have been suffering a lot and most likely dazed and disoriented.

He did try to defend himself the best he could by throwing up his hands when the sharp knife came at him.

Ryan said she had two bandaides on one on different fingers so in her wild flinging of the knife she cut herself. It may have been when he threw up his hands to deflect the knife.

The timeline created by (I forget who, but it's really good) has the time of the attack starting around 5 or 5:30am. It should be PM. This murder occurred in the late afternoon.

?? There was a footprint (or more correctly, a partial shoeprint). Don't forget that Jodi also poured (or spilled) some amount of water on the floor, which altered the crime scene.

I don't see Travis as using Jodi, 4Jacy. Jodi admitted to LE that their relationship after they broke up ( and Jodi rattled off that date, very significant to her) was intimate but not romantic. That they both knew it was not heading towards marriage. Instead I think Travis was very upfront with Jodi. Jodi was/is the deceptive one. She acknowledges that both are just in it for the sex but tries to make her status with him change by using sex.

I want to see any emails or text exchanges that shows Travis even knew she was in the area much less coming to his home.

I suspect we will learn there was not and he did not invite her there nor knew she was going to 'Glenn Close' him again by just appearing.

I haven't seen a closeup of TA's face, though I did see an icon-size rendering and that was enough for me, but don't forget TA's body was decomposing and was 5 days into the process, which would be considered moderate at that point. The face would show this to a greater extent than other areas, so what some of you are perceiving as one thing or another (like some kind of 'netting' or something on his face) might just be affects from decomp. I'm too squeamish to go look but that's my current thought.

I think she got in by telling him she wanted to drop off a check for the car. Something along the lines of, I'm going through Mesa on my way to see my new bf in Utah.
Then, once inside the home, she sold him on the sex one more time. I think he was always attracted to her, so not a hard sale. I think he was way out of his league with her. If roles had been reversed, we would not be watching him exhibit anything like the emotional control that JA had exhibited beginning immediately after the homicide.

I agree totally. Get him in the shower under false pretenses. I bet she wasnt banking on him moving anywhere other than the shower. Kill him in the shower - wash away the blood and shut the door and walk away. He must have fought back, tried to escape into the bedroom, had his neck slashed and dragged back to the shower.
