STUPID questions I know...

#1- Is this the crouching picture?
With water running and his face looks somewhat startled.

I cannot tell if he is crouching
standing, or on his tippy toes
Was it stated in court that he was crouching?
or is there another picture we have not seen for obvious reasons.
I am not asking for anyone to look up a link!
Just throwing around some ideas in my head.

#2- How many freakin hours was this <unusual person>
awake????

Has anyone calculated it?

He looks scared to me.

Did you scroll for. And read the comment left by someone that was a victim of an armed robbery with Travis?

Speaks volumes about his character!

Where exactly is that...? I read the whole page with the photo and didn't see it... TIA

I had this debate with my son last night. It does appear he's crouching down in the shower the way the water is hitting his face. My son is about the same height, and in order to get the spray in his face in a stand up shower like that he would have to crouch down unless the shower head was quite a bit higher than he is, and he's standing fairly close to it.

When I shower I back into the spray if I'm washing my hair (granted I'm only 5'2"), but it looks to me like TA is against the left wall (back) of the shower. MOO.

This proves my (mental age)

One thing I was thinking was the "FLUSH THE TOILET TRICK"

Our water gets really hot!
Does anyone's water ever get really cold?

So the DT will be calling a domestic violence expert that will be talking about how subtle abuse can be and that it doesn't have to be physical in nature. Why Jodi would have kept going back to an abusive relationship and doing whatever Travis wanted sexually to keep him happy.

I hope the Prosecution has one of these experts lined up as well to explain how their relationship does not fit a domestic violence relationship unless you look at Jodi stalking Travis and showing up at his house etc. I am afraid this is an uphill battle for the Pros. and hope the jury is not caught up in an expert's theoretical statements.

That is an assumption.

JOdi has admitted that she killed Travis. And all those brutal injuries are a result of the damage she inflicted on him. IMO that is not in question and there is NO assuming about it.

And no Jodi was not acting out as a very pissed off woman. Very pissed off means I flip him the finger while I leave slamming the door shut. It doesn't mean I turn into a manical, psycho killer and go medival on a human being. IMO Jodi displays nearly every one of the traits another poster showed as a list to determine a psychopath.

I'll say that at for me at least it is the difference between your fantasies of what you would like to do to a person and the reality of ........nah......maybe not.

With all that blood you would think there would be a footprint or two. Also, don't mean to be gruesome, but is it possible Travis was already dead when the headshot photo was taken? Maybe that is when she ran the shower on him? Just a couple of thoughts I had.
There was a shoe print
Not sure this is the pic you are talking about or not, but he is very much alive to me.

Thank you everyone for keeping up with the events! My apologies if the following questions have been discussed before:

1. How do we know they didn't have sex that night (I guess you mean the night of his death, June 3 to June 4)?
2. "I think that it startled her that he was up at 4:00 am when she got there.." She got there at 4AM right before she murdered him?? Do we know this as fact?
3. In a photo of her dragging him, her hair is dark. Anyone know when she reportedly dyed her hair? Was it dark when she met up with RH (RM?) the next day?
4. Could she have been with TA that afternoon with blond hair, they had sex as per photos, then she left and sneaked back in, this time with dark hair, around 4AM wearing the dark pants and shoes? Premeditated first degree murder...
TIA -

Her hair was dark in pigtails in the naked pics, so she obviously dyed it sometime between picking up the rental car (white not red as Budget originally offered her) and taking the pics.

Does any one have the ME's bio that appeared a while back?

Gee, where's Steely Dan lately? I'm missing his humor :)

I know, I miss him and his humor too!!

Probably the group in the internet that has something called murderabilia (not sure if that is the right name) Saw a show about them where they sold imprint or photo of hands of a killer and had the mother on the show whose daughter was killed by that particular killer. They are completely heartless.

They are disgusting!

He looks scared to me.

I agree. This photo has made such an impact on me. His expression is one of knowing that he is likely meeting his demise. I would not be surprised had JA pointed the gun at him while she took this photo. The one word I would use for his expression is "haunting". So very sad. It is not the face of a man taking a shower in front of a f*k buddy. Sad, sad, sad.

Also, I've been wondering what the red line by his neck is. It can't be the massive cut. It just looks a bit odd to me.

Someone is buying Jodi's art work on eBay! And her mom raised the prices on the remaining pieces.

Friend of Travis on JVM, Doctor Carl Hyatt:

Travis came over to Hyatt's at least every week.

Hyatt says that Travis had decided to leave Jodi and explained that his tires were slashed the next day. The following week he told Hyatt about it and said "don't be surprised if one of these Sundays I don't show up and you find me dead". Hyatt never took the statement as being serious.

Hyatt felt Travis had fear trying to part from Jodi.

Hyatt had met Jodi but didn't think there was anything over the ordinary. Nothing stood out to him.

But it's a fact that some girls felt it was too much

At first it was one girl. Now it's some. Do you have a link? Thanks.

I worked with Jodi for a couple of years. There was always something "off" about her. She was dating a much older "control freak". She reminded me of a Stepford Wife. A friend babysat for them (her boyfriend had a child from a previous marriage) and said it was the most bizarre experience. They left a minute by minute set of instructions like, give him two carrots at 7:15, then you can read to him for a half an hour...she never went back after that one time. She was always very sweet, but you felt like something was just not right with her. BTW the boyfriend would call work all the time to check up on her. We all felt sorry for her, she seemed desperate for affection and willing to compromise for it.

Jodi was my roommate for a year. This was a long time ago, but I remember thatshewas a complete nut bag. But when you say "My roommate was a psycho" you never expect that it would be to this degree. Even after all of this time, I cannot believe that I ever lived with anyone who was capable of this!

I think there are people out there that can testify to how different JA is and I hope the prosecutors have found them. BTW That article is a good read, someone else posted it many, many days back but forget who.

As a woman I am saddened that TA said that he did not respect JA because she did not respect herself.

She was good enough to have the most intimate of acts, but that was it. That is not respecting her as a real live person. It really bothers me especially if he said that she looked at him like a dildo.

Although really I am not sure what she has in the line of those human feelings. Nevertheless, people have talked about their abusive relationships . But the people on here who kept going back had love in mind. Love and hope.

I just feel icky when I read how he thought about her.

Believe me, I think she should be in prison forever. But I do not like when men say things like that about women but continue to have sex with them.

Use a rubber doll, is what I think.

OKAY. I am really behind on these threads but have been waiting for this trial.

Just a couple thoughts:

To me, Travis seemed to be a wonderful guy who grew up in rough circumstances but was trying to turn that around (bless his heart :))

He was brutally murdered. I don't think this case takes a rocket scientist to figure out.

God Bless Travis. The victim.

No one should have their life end this way :(

I wasn't watching, what kind of Dr was it?

Hi Human

When I read that I took it as he did not respect her not that he disrespected her. There is a difference in my eyes.

Didnt the defense say in their OS that two minutes after the shower picture was taken is when he was killed?

Imo, he saw his life flashing before his eyes. :(

imo
