Has or will Jodi's confession to the crime been played in court?

Which one? The one where two people broke in? Or this latest version? The latest version has never been given to law enforcement, only her lawyers.

I don't think she confessed to LE, I think it just came through her sister and defense counsel.

ETA: by confessed to LE, I meant this latest story of self defense

She broke up with her live in bf 4 days after meeting Travis. Not sure on your other questions but I suspect she had an idea of how well Travis was doing. Keep in mind she approached Ryan Burns at an event that he was given a Rising Star Award.



I'm guessing its an AZ thing to have the case agents right at the prosecution table with them, it makes sense if they have any questions or info.

I have been following your posts on this trial for a while and just joined WS today..hi all!

Am wondering what Jodi's job was (other than that at Casa Ramos) that caused her to be at that convention where she met Travis? Why did she seem to go to PPL meetings and conferences? Did she work for them or just a 'groupie' of sorts?

During the opening statement, the defense said a patron at the restaurant she worked at told her he was going to retire in 5 yrs because of how well he did at ppl and gave her a cd about it. She then signed up online and a recruiter called her. The recruiter mentioned that there were 2 "big" conferences throughout the year that anyone serious about becoming successful should attend. So her and 2 other people went and that's how she went to the first ppl convention and unfortunately where she met Travis. Don't know the rest but that's how it started.

Anyone know how long after the long term live in boyfriend lost his job that Jodi moved on to Travis? Was the job loss even before Jodi dumped him? How long after first meeting Travis did Jodi dump the ex? Did Jodi know what type of home Travis had before she dumped the ex?

Just some questions that make me curious about Jodi and what her mind frame was when she broke up with the ex and made the move on to Travis.

According to the DT's opening statements Jodi came home from the convention in Las Vegas where she met Travis and her and the live in boyfriend broke up.

I'm just beginning with this case and was already thinking how similar to FCA this woman is--with her endless lies, her affect (or lack of same), the deeply disturbing horror of the crime, the accused's claim of victimization, etc. That JA is an "Event Coordinator" too is a downright creepy coincidence! Let's hope the jury actually brings justice to this trial. *crosses fingers*

I agree completely, just because Travis was a man it doesn't make it any lesser of a crime. My opinion, Jodi repeatedly raped Travis. Anything she says about mistreatment, rough sex, etc. is most likely a lie, just like all of her other lies. Jodi's lies do nothing but provide a self service to herself. I am hoping we get to see both sides of text messages. If we only get to see what Travis sent her, I would have a problem with that.

I agree. I have thought and thought about Jodi actually being a rapist of sorts. Something feels very off to me about their ongoing sexapades. I do not think we have a truly clear picture of all the dynamics. I keep searching for what my gut is sensing but I can't explain it yet in words. Just something is off.

OMG, I'm so glad that I'm not the only one thinking that this is the case. I feel that she was most definitely the dominant figure in this relationship. I think that he was the passive one. If there was a master/slave thing going on, I have no doubt that she was the mistress/master part of the equation. He was a virgin and she "taught" him everything she knew about sex. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the KY jell was used on him. JMO.

I missed something somewhere. What's the BMW story?

I'm sorry I didn't answer this sooner. I honestly was hoping someone else would, lol !

When she was moving, she had the BMW towed behind her U-Haul, she left it in gear and blew up the engine. He was great about it, not even mad according to Jodi. She had to pay him $100 dollars a month for it until it was paid off and he held the title till it was. This is true because lawyers and insurance company was involved.

She also asked the detective about the check from her written to Travis for the BMW and asked when it was going to be cashed! This is not long after he was slaughtered and she's toying with detective on the phone!
