I personally have never seen a slit throat and my mind just can't wrap itself around the thought of it so not looky looing or being morbid. sorry.

I looked not realizing just how gruesome the pics would be. Omg! How can Jodi sleep at night! Even if he had attacked her (which I do not believe)wouldn't a rational person just do something just to stop them? I mean she just continued on and on! She made sure he was dead!
This is a case I agree with the death penalty!

I'm just getting here for the first time today, but I'm wondering why there is such frantic activity about seeing the graphic photos. There are only so many photos and they have been everywhere. Huffington Post has every single one, including one of Travis in the shower with NO censorship. Instead of trying to work around Photobucket sites, if you go to Huffington Post, you can see them right there.

I happened to be here when the autopsy photos were posted earlier today for a very short time and they are definitely not the crime scene photos that have been available on MSM.

When I wake at night I think about JonBenet and the photo of her skull in living color. I think the photo of Travis and his look of total realization that he was looking at pure evil will haunt me now.

I saw my first in person crime scene photos in 1972 of a woman with her throat slashed and one breast almost hacked off. It stays in your head and heart more than others.

I did see the ones at HP, and the hardest one for me is the one looking down upon him from above. He seems so vulnerable and exposed, and you just want to do something to help. As Linda7NJ said, she could of at least covered him.

Okay, I'm never gonna get caught up tonight and if I don't ask these questions now I'll probably forget.

This has bugged be all day at work. I've written Jodi off as a psychopath because it's unnerving to think that any person around me is capable of doing something this heinous BUT I keep hitting this wall: if Jodi is a psychopath and is incapable of feeling normal emotions like love, guilt, fear ( she is a really calm liar and called the detective herself) how can she feel rage? I get stuck there because I do see rage in the way she killed Travis. Is that possible in a psychopath, to feel some emotions but not others?

In the post I have read today I see some are bound and determined to shift at least some of the blame. Are all of them women? I ask because the post read that way. I can't imagine the same things being discussed if a man had done this to a woman, or less. I have even read post that appear to be trying to marginalize the crime "it's not the worst" or " not Bundy" and the like. Really? One post even compared the case with another one where the woman was free today and seemed to suggest that the DA's cases should have been argued in the same fashion as that one (don't recall the post or case sited) but seriously, WTH?

Why is it so much more interesting to try and figure out how TA royally screwed up by continuing to have sex with Jodi than to ponder why SHE slit his throat, stabbed him nearly 30 times and shot him in the face? Is it because she is a woman and some women feel a kinship with her because of the rejection? Or just because she's a woman? If that is the price of membership to the Sisterhood you can collect my card anytime. I'm wholly uninterested in identifying with someone just because we both have .

And yes, I've been there. Been lied to by one of the best liars. Cheated on. Rejected. Used. It happens. Most of us learn from it and grow. One of the best lessons is what kind of people to avoid and how you will NOT be treated, ever. I hold NO sympathy for this woman because we have shared similar experiences. None. I will give her no quarter.

One of these two people are really truly effed up and it isn't the one who is dead.

They shouldnt have put these photos up to begin with but when they did they should have had enough respect to pixel out his genital area.

It shows the media too has no shame.

The media has had a field day with this one, predictably and unfortunately.

They couldn't have scripted themselves a better story, yet they push it farther as they continue to sensationalize and exploit every aspect.

It's sickening really, this story could be covered as is and it would be horrendous and compelling enough. But JA has been turned into some notorious femme fatal and Travis some butchered slain figure slumped and slashed in his own home.

I can't help but think JA is enjoying every moment of this experience.

That's true, but with crime photos everywhere, there is always a chance that family members will see them. It's just the way things are... Plus, some families would never think of looking online, but others would. It just would be nice if families didn't see things like that of their loved ones.

I think it was more anger than rage. He had the nerve to not die in the shower like she had planned. He had the audacity to try and get away! She couldn't let that happen...him not dying really pissed her off. IMO

I went back to the thread that has testimony about her car rental but it didn't specify anything about the car, at least what was transcribed. I don't recall the Budget rental receipt showing what kind of car but I likely missed that if it was listed. I'll try to find the relevant posts in a bit if I'm still around.

TY for the kind words. Fortunately for me there were no children involved so it was easier for me to walk away. If the same thing were to have happened with my current relationship (heaven forbid), it would be a different story. I can only imagine how it would affect our children, and my ability to make a rational decision.

Women and men also sometimes choose to stay in abusive relationships so the abusive spouse is not alone with the children, like every other weekend.
I've seen it many times.
