Why would she have to do that?, he was already sitting in the shower from the last picture of him alive, simply shoot him then.

Could you please provide a link to TA sitting in the shower? The only one I've seen of him is a above the waist shot and you can't tell if he is standing or sitting. Thanks.

moo is that its very likely that each and every one of us know a "Jodi type" person with whom we know or have encountered at some point in our lives.. IMO the "Jodi type" are clearly cut from a different cloth, and that fact becomes apparent quite early in their life..

I know for me this person that I can easily say is that "Jodi type" I've known for quite a large majority of my life in meeting her my first day of Preschool(4yoa) and having daily contact with her until the day we both graduated high school.. I knew from a very very young age, far far prior to my ever understanding or comprehending what exactly this "Jodi type" personality disorder even meant, or even knew existed.. I knew at a young age she was NOT RIGHT... and I by no means whatsoever was the only one who recognized and realized our friend, the "Jodi type" was NOT RIGHT..

But the fact that there is so very many deep, deceiving, false, and fraudulent layers of who this person is, quite honestly most become exhausted just in initial attempts at peeling those layers back.. and i mean exhaustive to the point of just all together throwing your hands up and just removing oneself from this person altogether..

at an elementary age I became extremely aware of the difference between her and us..and to be clear there was none whatsoever mentality or attitude of her being an outcast.. it was much more realistically apparent IMO of any who knew her, as in any in depth long term way of knowing someone..she wasn't treated differently, she just herself, as a whole was different..

I will not drone on in one of my tedious, tiring long winded posts as to cut to the chase there was a very district point in time, a point in our lives where that us, as females, even newly introduced females to this person quickly fell by the wayside as a means of manipulation or a source of satisfaction ON ANY LEVEL WHATSOEVER FOR HER.. "IT" WAS IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED EVEN BY ANY NEWCOMERS...that "it" being what it is at the very core of the "Jodi type" person by high school was so very easily recognizable by any other females that her/their sole and only targets become male..

by that age the young male for so many reasons becomes the vulnerable prey of the "Jodi type"..they're usually quite stunning aesthetically speaking, which is the initial draw of her prey.and while to most females I dare say most are repulsed by the "Jodi type" I do believe its because we know what's inside whereas especially YOUNG males don't give a damn about what's inside..and that's not at all saying anything at all is wrong with young males..its saying that the predator knows the vulnerable, easily manipulated areas of her prey..

IMO we all know a "Jodi type" and IMO if you really are one who has honestly crossed paths for any length of time with a real "Jodi type" most know without question that person is absolutely capable of what is seen in this case...BUT MORE TERRIFYING KNOW ARE CAPABLE OF SO VERY MUCH MORE..

IMO we've ONLY seen the teeny, tiny tip of the iceberg of what this individual, Jodi is really like and what she's really capable of.. that IMO is what I find most horrifying..jmo.

I'm so glad there were pictures of Jodi dragging Travis [I'm taking the word of other WS'ers on those pictures though - I'm too chicken to look at them myself] because it shows how a much smaller assailant is capable of carrying out a murder against a much larger victim. So often in cases where there's a small female defendant, the defense argues that she couldn't carry out such a murder because she was too "little." Here's proof that it is quite possible when the female defendant is filled with rage. JMO, MOO

The only other pictures Ive seen from what is on this thread was on NG. I watched the trial today but missed the last hour or so and it seems thats when many of the crime scene photos were shown. JVM showed them but blurred out the body, NG did not (though there really wasn't much to see. I could see a body but couldn't tell his position or anything). I also saw some pictures on mydeathspace.

This is about the time that Travis' journals began to vanish, his tires were slashed multiple times, his girlfriend’s tires were slashed, and some “anonymous” woman began to haunt his girlfriend via email, and knocking on doors and windows while Travis was at her house, and run away. Jodi even snuck into his house to spy on he and his girlfriend (they caught her).

None of the graphic photos of the victim were shown to the viewing public. Only those in the courtroom were able to see them. I was very glad for that when I saw the reactions of TA's family when the pictures were shown.

I have been waiting for this like some of you, for years. Years ago the photos of the house were up on an account online. I studied them for ages. And I saw the bloody shower photo on another board. It did not contain as much blood as I expected for someone to die in the shower. And HLN on TV keeps reporting that he was shot last, in the shower.

The picture is getting a lot clearer in my head as to how this may have played out.

She took the camera into the bathroom as a distraction from the knife she brought in as well. She takes a photo/s of him in the shower, one of which we have seen. He got out of the shower and turned his back to head into the bedroom. This is when I think she started to stab him in the back. He turned and grabs the sink, spitting blood, holding himself up as he loses feeling in his legs. He must have been in shock, not knowing what was happening at that point. So "I can't move my legs" came out, like he was trying to process what was going on. He falls onto the floor, smearing the blood on the sink. He soon realizes what is going on and tries to flee out of the bathroom, possibly crawling.. she sees the stabbing in the back is not working. He gets as far as the hallway before she catches up to him, that is when the camera is finally dropped. She rolls him and stabs him in the heart. Her bloody hand print is found on the wall at the perfect height as if she used it as leverage to turn him over and there was a large portion of carpet missing there too. She then put him on a sheet or towel (the ones found in the laundry) and drug him back into the bathroom, camera getting tangle or possibly taking more photos herself. At some point she slashes his throat but I believe (I HOPE) by then he was already gone. She had no fight getting him into the shower and finishing him off in her demented mind with the gun. Total overkill, none of it makes any sense and it causes a lot of confusion. That's Jodi though, she doesn't make any sense and does things in a back arse fashion. The cup was probably used it to gather water and wash him quicker and rinse off her arms as the blood was probably pretty high.

MOO of course. I really want to know how it played out, they are the professionals. I guess I am just hoping that they too will find he was not with it when the shot was fired or the slashing of his throat happened.

OH... and sorry but on other boards I've been reading :banghead: I feel like he is getting a bad rap becuase of a few lines read from the tens of thousands of e-mails that existed between these two. People going way overboard about some terms he used.

To me he was just a guy. He was young, he liked women, he liked having sex, traveling, meeting people, having fun. I think he probably struggled with his religion and the things available to him. I also think at one time he cared for her a lot. I think it just became too heavy and too and he realized she is not what he wants for forever. That doesn't mean he isn't going to have sex with her. Again... he is a young single guy with a woman falling all over him. A woman he did have some feelings for and one who he still had a sexual relationship with.

Travis DID NOT deserve the ending to his life that he got. If she felt it was hurtful to her to be sleeping with him while he wants to back off from a relationship it's on her to decide to stop sleeping with him then. It's not his responsibility to be her psychologist and figure out what's best for her. He was probably struggling to do that for himself as to his relationships and his religion.

That trip to Cancun probably turned into a "clearing of the mind" trip with someone who didn't put him under so much pressure. Someone more normal.

If you were to jump into the lives of other guys his age. Especially those living very comfortably, successful and social you would probably a lot of the same thing.

It's not just you Hopeful One, but I haven't been able to put my finger on what I think about his photos, something strikes me odd, always has... I maybe letting what we know of his childhood cloud my intuition, hmmm not sure but odd to me.. Maybe someone else has thoughts?

I didn't watch NG (stopped watching her after the tot-mom fiasco). During trial those photos were not shown on live feed.

I agree, that is an interpretation at best, granted I know old movies were made by still frames but I do not see them showing movement in this case.

Wish he would have pressed charges against her. Such a sad story after all him & his siblings had been through. I think she talked him into pic, etc playing on his "manhood" so to speak and with the knife/gun in hand. He looks caught off guard in pic to me.
