Is all of this stuff *new* information? did it not come out during the other trial? I'm trying to figure out why they are all acting surprised over some of this when it's all been going on for so long.

My thoughts so far while watching .. this judge is so biased and is probably one of the worst I've ever watched. I'm not sure how she ever got in the position that she's in. And the guy asking questions right now comes across as very arrogant. If I was on the jury he would rub me the wrong way.

One last thought .. why in the world would someone that claims to love another human think that it's okay to take disparaging photographs of that person when they are at their lowest? Oh I guess they want to make you look bad to other people and then continue to stay with you all in the name of love I've seen relationships like this and it's disgusting.

AH and her batch of immature hangers-on clearly liked his money.

as for the testimony being a surprise, all of it should be new to the Virginia jury, so yes, they have to have it all over again.

a large reason why I keep giving JD the benefit of the doubt is, chronic pain legitimately sucks. I’ve had varying stages of lumbago, sciatica and plantar faascitiis for about 15 years now, and it’s very frustrating when nothing is denting your chronic pain.

All they are doing is repeating the UK trial. I'm waiting for something new. Surely they've prepared something. Will AH testify? I'm asking if it's customary in this kind of trial.

How bout all her spending. Seems she was a “shopaholic”. Paying an assistant $25 plus an hour to go get her bathing suit as she lay around the pool drinking wine.

I hope she is -dropped- from everything she wanted because of her lies. And the charities come after her because that was a BIG ol seven million dollar LIE.
I think she hated his kids cause they were set to inherit everything - not her.

Not sure for civil trials, but it seems to be pretty similar to a criminal trial, so I imagine she will testify.

Out of curiosity, are you basing your opinion of this judge just on this trial alone?

When Depp was on direct they were continually trying to get in statements made by third parties. This is hearsay, therefore not allowed. In fact, I think if this went on in a criminal trial, she would have given them a stern warning early on.

Hmmm, it may be true, but it's not exactly shocking that the source is close to Depp. Now if it was someone close to Heard, then it may have had more weight behind it.

What are you hearing?

From his testimony I'm hearing that AH was physically and emotionally abusive to JD. (Ofc, all alledged etc.) But not because he had addictions. More because she's some kind of warped IMO.

Abusing a substance does not give anyone the right to harm you physically. So to me, its not a consequence.

Court is delayed, which has never been with this judge. I am convinced she is in chambers with both sides discussing this 'tweet' right now...

Is it not more the case of trying to prove he lied on the stand, about when he was and was not abusing drugs though?

That's just the impression I'm getting.
