Because the unknown person didn't know what was going on, and Casey's bus has a ton of room underneath.
It is not unusual for those who deal with a pathological liar to unknowingly participate in lying to others. They think they are telling the matter-of-fact- truth but reality is, they are lying.
Amy telling people that Caylee is with her nanny would be an example of that.
Amy is lying. Amy thinks she is telling the truth.
All sorts of things get skewed when a Casey personality is thrown in the mix.

Thanks, MiraclesHappen! I understand what you are saying.

I just heard Dr. Baden on Fox again talking about the duct tape. Of course they play that same clip again and again, but something he said really got me to thinking about what his concern was. I just kept thinking about what he said in regard to the duct tape sliding off of the skull as (oh, God) the flesh decomposed.

I do believe it has been stated that there was tissue left around the mouth area. Now. Would the duct tape have adhered to the teeth and therefore the facial bones? It would seem to me that the duct tape would have had to have been wrapped a full circle around Caylee's little head to have remained there. Hair was also mentioned. I wonder if it was just hair that remained underneath the duct tape. I just cannot begin to imagine all of this. It just somehow does not add up to me.

I am concerned that there may not be fingerprints on the duct tape if it were to have been wrapped a full circle around Caylee's head. The sticky adhesive may have melted some in the heat making the prints unusable - meaning the fingerprint(s) on the inside of the tape unreadable!

Forgive me for rambling! Can you help me with this?

I just watched a fox vid and cracked up. The defense team was was down the block behind the tape. They weren't allowed any closer than the public was. A defense team demanding to be at the actual active crime scene is absurd. Saw LP leaning against a truck staring them down.

This d team is getting way to bossy. They have no right to interfere with anything that happens at the crime scene. Let LE do their work. I hope it takes them weeks to finish and immediately after they do finish, I hope it will pour rain for another week.:tsktsk::tsktsk::dervish:

What I can't figure out is how this dream team (and I've said it before on another post) has time to be at the crime scene when they should be looking for Caylee, if they think she's still alive, and Zanny. It's ridiculous, the whole thing. They are willing to do this for an ungrateful people like Casey and Cindy Anthony, just to make a name for themselves. They should examine their consciences, at least in this case. Also, I have never been able to afford the Ritz and neither of the Anthony's work, how is that possible?????

sorry if this idea/info has been posted already but I'm only about halfway through this thread...

I would imagine that there is a strong possibility that there are two sets of finger prints on one edge of the tape found around Caylee unless it was a fresh roll and only the perp had ever touched it after unwrapping it. Think of how many times you have used duct tape.. when you get to the last piece you normally pull up a little extra to either cut or rip it off, right? Your prints would be on that little bit you pulled up to assist removal. So, alas another possible set of prints. Obviously that would only cover prints on one edge of the tape though, unless you were assisted throughout your wrapping endevour..

The way I understood it in court the other day was that if these remains have not been identified then no matter who the victim is "others" (not LE/FBI) are not allowed to view the autopsy/crime scene out of respect for the victim and their family.

That is how I understood it.
So why didn't Geraldo say to JB to go and take it up with the Judge.

You are so welcome LALaw!!:blowkiss:
I ramble. You are NOT rambling...:)

It appears that from what is going on, with C & G officially giving the prints to LE (I believe they would have them unofficially anyway), that some sort of fingerprint evidence has been recovered.
I wish I could say more but we just don't know what they have.

I do like to think there is some sort of higher power involved in this quest for justice, and that this find will yield something in the bombshell category.
You know, the way the one hair was sitting there..:blowkiss:

Was the truck pulling a ride of some kind or do we think it will just be a circus and not a circus carnival combo? I guess LP did not take GVS advice.

Items Removed From Anthony Home
After the judge in the case denied the defense access to the discovered remains, Baez expressed frustration about what he perceives as a lack of cooperation between the team and authorities.
"We're trying whatever we can," Baez said. "I want to provide the best defense for Casey Anthony. It starts with full disclosure, and it's not after something has been not the way it was, and that's the main issue."

JB and Dr Lee (as JB mentioned in the hearing again today - "were denied access to the remains site". They were only denied until the remains were identified as being Caylee Marie. They had no right to that site until such time. Once the site was opened up to them - they didn't even appear.

That comment and others may just come back to JB and bite him. Don't kid yourself that this Judge hasn't brought himself up to day on ALL the previous motions. He knows exactly what happened when Caylee's remains were found.

Whether we, the public, actually will hear him correct JB is another matter. CM certainly wasn't happy with what both the Judge and JB were saying.

I'm glad HL will be allowed to continue.

At least we now know after much speculation that HL left after examining the car, that he is still with the defense.

Yes, right along with his tarnished reputation of hidden fingernails and ketchup. :D

I wonder if the State will try to impeach Dr HL after the Judge spoke so highly of him today.

After the Specter case? lee will be easy for any Prosecutor to impeach.

I hope Baez keeps bringing up in hearings that He and Dr. Lee were denied access to the crime scene. It becomes a line of questioning the prosecution to really bore in on to impeach Dr. Lee and the defense.

"Dr. Lee why exactly were you at that scene before any identification of remains had been made? How did you know that that particular scene was related to the Caylee anthony case? Who told you this? What else did they tell you at that time? Is it normal procedure for you as a defense consultant to be given entry to an active crime scene still under active processing and investigation, and before the victim had been identified? If so can you please name what specific case and crime scene and describe the circumstances? Is there anything in your prior case history that might make LE currently leary of allowing you into a crime scene? Can you please explain to the court the circumstances regarding the white object in the Lana Clarkson murder case? What were you accused of? What were the statements from the court in that case regarding your conduct?"

So just by showing up at that active crime scene with Dr. Lee,and by continuing to make a stink about it, JB opens the door to allow relevant and non salacious questions to be asked under oath, of dr. Lee regarding his evidence tampering in the Phil Specter case. Somehow I am thinking that this is probably not the best defense approach?

I was really enjoying the hearing today- every time Baez opened his mouth he put his foot straight in- talking about "the Crime scene- oh, excuse me, the recovery site". It was full of great stuff like that. He is inept.

CM looked like he had a mouthful of wasps for most of the hearing.
NOT a happy man. Wish I was privy to the post hearing discussion between CM and JB.

:thumb: Perfect examples!

The State will be able to poke enough holes in Henry Lee to make him look like a lawn sprinkler when he drinks!
