I find it a very casual style this death-qualified defense attorney has when laying the important decision on the jurors shoulders. Gregory Messore says it's going to be their most important decision, but he presents it like it don't matter much to him. This isn't the first time he's done a case like this. Okay, it's a tragedy, but Mark Sievers is the only one facing the Death Penalty.

Oh, now he's shifting it somehow to CWW only getting 25 yrs.

"The government wants you to render a verdict that Mark Sievers should die," Messore said.

Messore wants the jurors to consider the alternative is life in prison for Mark Sievers, he said.

The murderer's expression with his little mouth partially opened and face frozen looked just like a cartoon. He will be easy to draw as a caricature! I'm not trying to be funny.
oh, god he's now screwing up his face to mimic emotion of crying, but just couldn't squeak out a tear. His expressions are so funny in that he will act like he's crying, then it's suddenly over like hitting a light switch. Wah, wah, wah....zip! Like it never happened.

Mark blinking faster, looking like he is trying to figure out a math problem. He's got to think harder about this, then blanks out again.

No one will be safe from Mark, in prison or out. I have the feeling there will be more headlines re him...JMO

Messore is addressing the second aggravating factor the state proposes.

Wright said there was not set plan before he and Rodgers drove to Florida from Missouri to kill Teresa Sievers, Messore said.
That was possibly the only smart thing the murderer did - to tell CWW that he didn't want to know how. This was to ensure he could more believably act surprised. He couldn't fake surprise at her murder, but as to the method of murder he was clear of knowledge.

Oh, and HELL YES it was cold, calculated and premeditated. Planned for months (at least) and certainly on his mind at the time of the murder. I'm going to go all preteen here and say "DUH".

Why didn’t MM speak?

Aw, jeez the camera panning around and zooming in and out on people. This isn't an art school project.

who is the woman that is knitting all day?

Why didn’t MM speak?

Probably because he’s not a death penalty lawyer. Messore is a DP lawyer and was only brought on to the defense team because of that.
