Maybe it was just questioning about his soon to be ex-wife or discussing his grand jury testimony with him? Kaine's activities on June 4th were videotaped by numerous security cameras in Intel's parking lot and inside the building. ( No, I don't have a reference on the exact number of surveillance cameras at Intel. Use common sense. )

I know,I've heard that,but in a missing child's case,all parents should be polygraphed,that should be a given.Maybe people were contacting LE to see if that was done and they felt like they didn't want the public seeing them as being partial to any one side.Especially since the public is hearing more about a divorce than Kyron at this point.And it could very well be about the Grand Jury hearing,there would be alot to go over and get facts straight beforehand.

I am extrapolating. At Westinghouse Nuclear Division, there is a camera every 15 feet. I walk my dog near another tech company and you can see that their security begins even before their employees' cars enter the gated parking area. At every hospital's parking lot for doctors, there is a camera every 30 feet and the parking is key entranced and gated. Even at lowly hospital staff (I am joking) parking lots there is a surveillance camera. Walmart even has surveillance cameras watching its parking lot. Kaine worked at Intel; Intel will have numerous surveillance cameras.

But nothing has actually been reported on this?

I hope they clarify this at the presser. I certainly want to know, if not who their POIs are, who they are not.

What if they are holding a secret grand jury? Will this info not be released or will only the names of individuals that are testifying be withheld?

I'm not sure but I would think that if they were ready to go forward and arrest someone they wouldn't need so much money. I could see the money going to the prosecutor but not to LE to continue investigating if they thought they were near a resolution.

In an interview that Desiree and Tony did sometime last week, they were in Medford (where they live) while Kaine was at home in Portland. Desiree made a point of saying that Kaine wished he could be part of the interview but that he was meeting with investigators. I'll look for the link but if someone knows which interview this was, please post it. TIA

I can't remember who requested the money,was it LE,DA's office or just for the county?I'll have to find that article again and see,that would tell alot on where they're going in the case.

Just listening to that interview,it seems the county is requesting the money,or the reporter didn't get it right.

The Sheriff's office requested some, and the DA's office requested some.

Multnomah County sheriff, DA to ask for about $438,000 to support Kyron Horman inquiry.

Sounds like alot of money,and guess they'll be going to court needing so much more.

I have to agree - I just watched the video and paused on the exact moment where KH looks at the camera, and I see nothing that would indicate to me that the meeting was some kind of "bad" event for him.

I'm not sure they would ask him this directly, since he is not trained in anything like that, but I should think they would have a long chat with him so they could extract info useful for that purpose.

My issue here, though, is I am sure they have already done a lot of that, so three hours, now, after all this time, seems like it's to more of a purpose, KWIM?
