Let's start a thread called "According to Drew" and keep track of his inconsistent statements. LOL

He was the duty sergeant at the time KP's body was discovered. So what does this experienced LEO do?? He doesn't call his superiors to send a car to KP's house. He has the neighbor break in.

But now, supposedly thinking like a cop again, he sends the neighbor in first because:

1st explanation) he doesn't want to contaminate the scene. Umm, how did he know there was a 'scene' inside? And even though he would obviously be a suspect if there was a scene inside, he would know how to preserve it better than the neighbor. So his actions are inconsistent with his story.

2nd explanation) because KP was always blaming him for breaking into her house. If he was concerned about that on this particular night, then he apparently thought KP was alive and well and would be mad at him for breaking into her house. So... why did he do it? If he thought she was alive, what gave him the right to have someone enter her home. She could've been taking a nap or had a male friend over and didn't want to be bothered. He acted like she wouldn't have had the right to NOT answer the door for him.

More inconsistencies...

I thought at first he said he was going to take the kids home (while on duty?), then he said he hadn't been able to contact her, and he, but moreso, the neighbor were worried about her.

There are police procedures for checking on a person's welfare. I'm sure there had to have been laws violated in him and the neighbor entering her home without permission from BBPD superiors.
If any of us had a locksmith break into our exes homes, we'd be in jail.

Good point

Three years after her lifeless body was found in a bathtub, authorities finally are paying attention to Kathleen Savio.
Nobody listened when she said she was afraid of her husband, a police officer in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook. After her death in 2004, a coroner's jury ruled Savio's death an accidental drowning even though one of her sisters told them that Savio had warned that if she died, it would look like an accident.

Now they suspect she was killed. But the theory didn't dawn on them until her ex-husband came under suspicion in the recent disappearance and possible murder of his new wife.

Mysteriously a secret will appears .... More at link.
Not only did DP have enough juice to have Kathleen's death ruled accidental, but to score a big payday on a very suspicious will and contrary to the best interests of her estate.

The will names James B. Carroll, Drew Peterson's uncle, executor of the estate, according to a document filed in court by Kavanagh, who apparently had some concerns.

"After my appointment as administrator, I conferred with attorney Harry Smith with respect to the status of the property settlement portion of the divorce proceeding ... (He) advised me that there were three major issues with respect to the division of property ... 1. Whether Kathleen's estate would be entitled to any portion of Drew Peterson's pension; 2. The valuation of the business known as the Blue Lightning Corp., which has been sold with all of the proceeds going to Drew Peterson; and 3. The value of the house, and whether Kathleen Peterson's estate would be entitled to receive not only her one-half of the proceeds of any sale, but an additional portion of the remaining one-half as an offset for the cash taken by Drew Peterson from the sale of the (bar)," Kavanaugh wrote in court documents.

On April 8, 2005, Will County Judge Michael Powers entered a judgment in the financial aspects of the divorce case. It awarded Drew Peterson the Blue Lightning Corp. and all the proceeds from the sale of the couple's home, according to the court documents filed by Kavanagh. The judgment also mentions what seems to be a fourth life insurance policy.

"(It) provided that Drew Peterson would not be obligated to fund any college expenses for the minor children of the parties due to the fact that life insurance on the life of Kathleen in the amount of $1 million had been payable to the children," according to the document.

As part of the judgment, Carroll agreed that some money from Savio's estate should go to someone other than the four children. "The effect of the judgment was to transfer anywhere from $144,117.65 to $288,235.31 (one-half to all of the proceeds of the home sale) from the four children who were the beneficiaries of the estate ... to Drew Peterson," according to court documents.

Kavanagh didn't approve of that move, apparently.

"The actions of (Carroll) were not in the best interest of the estate or the beneficiaries," he wrote in a court document.

That appears to be the house drew is in now. The video of the tub is from when drew let reporters in and showed them around.

I wonder how much life insurance Stacy has on her.

I don't think so. I heard Kathy's nephew say that DP had bought a home a block away from the home he lived in with Kathy for himself and Stacey.

I double checked and you are correct. Now I wonder if the tub they have been showing is from Drews house or Kathleens. Because the first time I saw the tub was in a vid where Drew was showing his house he lives in now. We may not have been seeing Kathleens tub.

National Enquirer dated 11/26/07, out today is reporting that Stacy had started keeping a diary. There are two articles, the second on the exhumation of Kathleen Savio can be found on the internet.

I would be willing to put up some of the "Diary Article", but I have no idea how much of it is allowed to be posted. I need some guidlines.

Can you maybe post the link to the article. I dont know either.

PM our mod, she'll help you with the guideline.

Her family stated early on that she kept a dairy. I was hoping there was something on the computer they took out of the house.

Now it looks like we don't know yet exactly what position she was in when found, but I wonder if he had been planning to fill the tub with water later and just didn't get a chance.

I was thinking...
maybe she had just had a bath and was getting out when he
snuck in?

That could explain why her fingers were wrinkled.
He could have put her back in the tub... or she could have fallen back
in during a struggle.
The tub could have been empty by that time?
