For what its worth-

I was a practicing Buddhist for over 3 years.

If there are genuine practicing Buddhists at the Simms hideaway- where I too believe FCA is hiding out out- then FCA is no doubt keeping as far away from them as she can get. Real Buddhists have the best BS detectors of any folks I have ever encountered.

Every aspect of the first years of learning Buddhism is devoted to stripping away the many layers of unreality Buddhists believe all of us use to veil the emptiness of a kind of our inner selves.

IMO and in my experience, if FCA was a normal human being who had made a terrible mistake, a year-long Buddhist retreat would do her wonders. Alas, my very best guess is that Simms' idea of Buddhism is as shallow as the DT's choice of a "grief expert" and that the "Buddhists" she employs are that only in name.Even if Simms employed the real thing, what Buddhism requires of its followers is simply and absolutely beyond FCA's abilities. No doubt she gives it lip service as required and then laughs herself silly at these folks she perceives as naive if not plain vanilla stupid.

I have a great deal of respect for Buddhism and in my humble opinion, Dorothy Simms has no idea what Buddhism is really about. These people read one thing that Buddha said or one page from the Bible and end up believing they know everything there is to know about compassion and true repentance. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Wonder if her PO cab ask how she is being supported...and if it is ok for her probation-wise to just be a charity case instead of actively working. How else is she supposed to learn to be a functioning member of society? Isn't she supposed to be doing these things so she won't endanger society any further?

Especially since her last career choice was stealing from others and she was making a pretty good living off of it. Isn't that what she is on parole for???

I don't believe for one second her PO is going easy on her. This person is part of the legal system - which to means he is probably as unhappy with the verdict as I am.....
I think they will insist she do "something"....which I don't believe she is doing yet...

By the way, here is the official email from FDOC:

"In accordance with her court orders, Offender Casey Anthony reported to probation at 6pm on September 1st, 2011. She was cooperative and answered all the questions of her probation officer.

She reported that she is currently unemploye and that she has not attended educational or vocational classes. She has not earned any income in the last 30 days according to her statement.

She told her probation officer that she has not consumed alcoholic beverages, used or bought illegal drugs or controlled substances. She reported that she has not had any contact with law enforcement during the last month.

Currently, no violations have been noted. As her probation continues, as is done with all offenders, her probation officer will encourage Offender Anthony to explore her options as it relates to her employment."

I wonder if we will get to see another official email from the FDOC today? Tomorrow is the latest she is allowed to report without violating her probation.

Will the new official email be a carbon copy of last months, with this months date?
Did KC find a job? LOL
Is KC getting treatment?
Is KC attending vocational or educational classes online?
Will KC report any income this month?
Did KC consume any alchoholic beverages this month?
Did KC have any contact with law enforcement this month?
Will any violations be noted by her PO?
Will her PO continue to encourage KC to explore her options as it relates to her employment (or so far, nonemployment)?

All violations of her probation. This is her 3rd check in. Laying around and sipping booze. When in the heck does it end. And who in their right mind would support such a slug. I'm sick of her getting away with everything, put her sorry lazy can in gerenal population where she belongs.
