I'm confused... did I miss a few pages of the thread?

The judge probably gave the jury the instructions before closing arguments.

Waiting for more tweets about what the defense said in closing.

That must have come first. I thought closing arguments came first, but they must do it the other way.

The problem is IMO we only were privy to tweets - and depending on the reporter and their tweets - we may not have heard everything initially. We won't know until a transcript is released

Looks like a strong closing by he prosecution, predictable Sonicnothingburger from the defence (although I can imagine the jury nodding enthusiastically along with the "He's a fool, an idiot..." theme).

I really liked how they put his own words out there for the jury... no body no crime.. she's never coming back... masterful IMO
I was a little surprised DA May didn't handle the closing - but it sounds like she did a great job and since the jury is 7/5 (women/men) it could be a shrewd move IMO

I am surprised as well.... but then again, he has an excellent, well qualified team of prosecutors.... loaded with a ton of strong evidence. He has confidence in his team and is training a strong group of potential DA's. Good for May. He doesn't need the spotlight.... Kelsey Berreth does. And so far, it sounds like his team has shone that spotlight on KB throughout the trial.. Fingers crossed the jury agrees..

I think that some reporters aren't understanding. The judge hasn't even given them instructions and charges yet.

That’s also an admission that the letters were real. Even now they aren’t disputing that.
