Hello All,
I am a researcher doing a case on Kendall Chick of Maine. The case is closely linked to Marissa Kennedy because both were failed by Maine's DHHS and the end result was supposed to bring changes to the child protection system. It never seems to be enough. I am specifically looking for Kendall's middle name. I know it seems a small thing, but I want to give this little 4 year old everything I can and that includes her middle name. She does not have a grave site because she was cremated so I cannot search for a gravestone for her. Can anyone help with this? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Oh this is just horrible.. This little girl was in the home of her Grandfather and his fiancee when this occurred... Why did I go down this rabbit hole.

Yes, that is the Kendall Chick I am writing a story on. Actually it will include Marissa Kennedy also. I have been trying to find Kendall's middle name but I can't.

This is awful for both children. I see what you men about trying to find Kendall's middle name. I've searched and found nothing. I didn't get access to court records. Although it is not likely, she may not have a middle name. It seems odd that a middle name or initial is not mentioned in the different news reports. Best of luck and thanks for writing a story.

Are you local? If not, a local journalist may have/be able to find more information.

What type of research are you doing, what credentials do you hold? You may be able to file FOIA request for information about the case. Depending on your background in research, you may be able to request her death certificate, which contains a great deal of information.
