I was actually on the fence re how much DD was involved. After this interview about Terri, I'm actually feeling less benevolent towards Miss DD. Just a gut reaction.

I wasn't giving a quote, but an impression. Yes, she has questions, but they seem to be based on what Kaine and Desiree have said in the news. I need to listen to this one a few more times. There's a lot in it. This is a really good interview. The woman is very articulate, very thoughtful.
If you care to share, I am curious about what it is that leads you to conclude that this witnesses' doubts about Terri stem solely form Kaine and Desiree?

She comes across as quite intelligent and as you state, "articulate, very thoughtful." I feel certain she can make her own judgments about her encounter(s) with Terri.

Why must Desiree and Kaine be villains just because Terri is the focus? It is not a matter of these parents being the cause of Terri's actions and deceptions regarding what happened to their son. They are just reacting to the circumstances that have been dealt to them.

They are the truly grieving parents who are coming to terms with the fact that someone they have known ( a woman Kaine was married to, a woman who shared parenting responsibilities with them both) is suspected of harming, and possibly killing their child.

My OPINIONS.

Sounds like Terri got lucky running into someone to help with her"Alibi" Terri still had plenty of time to do whatever with Kyron JMO

Please, anyone have a link to the video? TYIA

So she cornered someone between 9:30 and 10:00 am to chat with?
Breaks my heart thinking what was happening to Kyron during that time when she was chit chatting away in FM...Was Kyron drugged and in the truck covered up? JMHOOTS.

Hi E. the only way I found it was to go to the news website and clicked on videos and found it there....it is very small though on that page.

The woman says she knew Baby K was not feeling well the day before.(June 3 )

I was under the impression that this lady was called in to GJ because she saw Terri that day and was asked if anything was odd about it, anything at all, and that was all that lady could think of Terri being odd. She also gave a timeline of interest to LE. Maybe I'm dull tonight... Am I missing something more?

It sounded to me like LE contacted AL early in the investigation. I wonder if when TH gave her account of her activities that day if she immediately named AL as an alibi or if she needed prompting to remember this encounter... At least this confirms that TH was at FM and not a stand in (DS) as some have speculated. It sounds like TH has a solid alibi for the 9-10 time frame that she stated in her early emails (http://www.katu.com/news/local/100323934.html) is when they taught "it" happed. Coincidence?

BBM

She "certainly saw nothing at all suspicious"? (quote by BeanE).

This is the opposite of what the article and the video said and implied.

My thoughts.

The context of my post you quoted is the video. I'm listening to it for the third time, and still don't hear her say anything Terri did or said was suspicious. In fact, quite the opposite.

If you hear her say that Terri was suspicious in something she did or said that day, feel free to point it out. As I also posted, I'm re-listening, because there's a lot in this video.

JMO, but this woman seems like a very credible witness (who mentioned she thought she could be called back).

"The only thing that I think was significant about that time is that she showed me a picture of Kyron next to his project," said Leckey.

"She just made it a point to show me his photo."

...
Leckey said she was being polite and making chit-chat because she knew Horman's daughter was not feeling well.

More confusion in my mind, ex. an acquaintance I run into in the store (2nd store) to get some kind of meds as my child is cranky...why would you stop (not just say hi & keep going) then pull out your camera to show the picture?

Well worth watching this video (long version)

Guess that's what happens when you're an (unofficial) suspect in a child abduction investigation. I hope LE keeps going as long as it takes.

I sure hope it's not a fishing expedition, and if it is, I sure hope they stop. I want to know what really happened to Kyron, and who really did it.

I can't tell from the interview whether baby was actually with TH when she saw AL. It kinda sounds to me like she wasn't since AL doesn't mention anything about seeing the baby. Just that she knew she was sick from the day before. jmoo Anyone hear something in the interview that makes them think baby *was* with TH?

Maybe I'm naive, but I truly believe that LE in this case are not liars or "out to get Terri" or just fishing. I believe they care very deeply about what happened to Kyron. And, I'm positive that they know more about what evidence they have or don't have than the general public.

I think the answer to that may be one of the reasons that the GJ was talking to her.

Oh my God I thought that was a quote from an article.

ITA, especially as it is presented in the format of a quote and the essential qualifying sentence is in the title rather than the body of the post. :hypno:

The video is worth watching but the article isn't worth the paper it was printed on.

I hear ya, BeanE -- BUT could maybe she already had everything "worked out"? Maybe an accomplice was handling things?

Just seems odd to me that she stopped this person she really didn't know and had the "longest convo" with her AND she made sure to show her a pic of Kyron. All while toting a cranky, sick baby. I run into acquaintances or people I've known for a long time but haven't seen for awhile and I carry my camera, but I never think to show these people pics of my kids.

It almost seems TH jumped at the chance to have someone she knows see her at this store and made sure to show a pic of Kyron to say "see, he was at the school this morning"

I don't know, something just seems off about this.

Well there's a little conflict now that I'm re-listening. She says it's the longest conversation she's ever had w/Terri, but she also says it was a quick chat. So I'm not clear on how long this conversation was.

I see nothing odd at all in stopping to chat with someone you know. I always do that when I see someone I know in the supermarket. What is odd, to me, is seeing someone you know and not speaking to them.

Showing a picture you just took of your child or stepchild, when you're talking about having just been to a science fair he was in, also doesn't seem in any way odd to me.

I'm baffled by how this seems odd to people.

Now it definitely does seem odd behavior to me for someone who had just kidnapped or harmed or killed a child, or was planning to and just about to. Extremely odd in that instance. Because, to me, a person in those circumstances would be in a hurry.

But this woman says Terri didn't seem like someone who had just harmed her child, and wasn't acting abnormally. If Terri had just, or was about to, harm Kyron or kidnap him, I'd sort of expect to her to maybe be a bit breathless, a bit shifty eyed, a whole lot nervous, you know?

Good to be posting with you in Kyron's forum, my friend. :)

Oh I so agree BeanE!!! Do you remember the quote from the last presser, something to the effect that Gates said regarding evidence? It was put rather oddly & I don't want to guess in case the wording takes a life of it's own lol. I haven't seen a press quote, by chance did you transcribe that exact quote or someone else. I think that quote about the evidence they do (in his opinion) is significant! TIA
