With it being confirmed that she had her baby in her arms, I am firmly on the fence. So far everything is totally checking out to be true. JMO
Thank you for the viewpoints I have read thus far.
I find this encounter to support Terri's story. The Gym worker says she had already been told the baby was sick the day before. A proud stepmom who had just come back from seeing her stepson's project would show it to someone, likely. At least I would.
Terri was chatty. Well, a stay at home mom needs interaction with adults, especially if she was not getting much interaction from the other adult at home (Kaine is a lovely, caring, grieving father. It is possible he's just not the type to get very involved in her day).
She was seen with her baby and seemed normal. I don't see why showing the picture was suspicious. I don't see why taking her time was suspicious.. if she had a plan to carry out, she'd not take time to chat IMO. Especially if Kyron, dear heart, was in the truck.
I would be very worried if I had a stop and chat and it was considered incriminating. But I understand that if taken into context with other information... whether released by LE or just media or family... it could be considered so.
I don't think she had baby K with her. My theory is that the DA asked her not to divulge that info. She probably made that clear to the reporter, too. Otherwise, it would have been a logical question to ask. I think baby K was out in the far reaches of the parking lot, in the truck with DDS and Kyron.
OK, just watched the interview AGAIN LIVE on KOIN..
Had the DBF watch it too..
She clearly says the only thing odd about it.... (didn't get exact words here-talking about
how TH approached her in FM -paraphrasing here)
BUT she DID say:
She was standing there with her daughter, sick in her arms..
I"M NOT CRAZY lol =)
In which case, what a colossal absurd blunder to be wandering around the store without the baby if that was intended to be you alibi.
I am so glad you caught this, this was the one thing bothering me all night while trying to fall asleep.
Something that I picked up on. The woman who was interviewed made it very clear that she was not a friend of Terri's and only knew her from the gym, and that Terri was normally a very quiet person...yet was more talkative at FM than she'd ever seen her.
So Terri calls out to her from across the store, comes over to her, discusses the science fair, shows her a photo of Kyron who she'd only seen once or twice at the gym. Just totally weird. And this person isn't even a friend. And Terri took time away from dealing with a sick baby to do this. It almost sounds like she was at FM hoping to run into someone she knew so that she could establish an alibi.
It'd be like me at Kroger, running up to the teller from my bank who just happens to be there too, talking about my kid who she barely knows, and then me digging my phone out of my purse to show her a photo of my kid who she's only seen once or twice. All while I have a sick baby with me. Makes no sense.
KOIN rocks for their fast response!! =)

"I think the thing that seems odd about it perhaps is that we were just passing each other by and in a few seconds, with her daughter being sick in her arms, made a point to show me the picture."

I think they (LE) are doing just that. moo.Oh yeah.
I'm not looking for Terri to prove she WASN'T involved. I'm looking for LE to prove that she WAS.
That's how it works.

I agree with all you have said here, but especially the bolded part. I have wondered if TH specifically went to FM as opposed to WM, Walgreen's etc was because she thought she would see people that she knew there (such as her FB friend that worked at one of those FM's) just to help establish an alibi. I also think that this witness did make a point of saying that they were not 'friendly', and she didn't see TH as being particularly 'social' but then on this day she WAS. :waitasec: :twocents:JMO.
I am of the same opinion as you yellow. Completely. The moment I saw her email where she stated she had a receipt proving she was "checking out at FM 7 miles away at 9:12" -- it screamed alibi making. The wording was odd. The statement itself was odd. Nobody casually talks like that to a friend. Not to mention it seems impossible for her to have been checking out at 9:12, according to her timeline.
I guarantee the first FM had whatever otc med she was looking for - or at least something similar enough - so her going to the second one is hinky. And, of course her whole encounter with AL makes it even moreso.
Sorry. I was admittedly on the fence, but ready to hop down on *your* side, simply awaiting evidence that would show me they could convict her.
More and more, I'm seeing just the opposite.
IMO Kyron is dead. Even if it was Terri, I don't believe he'd still be alive.
Her story is being proven to be true.
That leaves a stranger abduction. By that I mean 'not family', not that Kyron hadn't been somehow peripherally acquainted with this person. Which, IMO, would be a pedophile.
I suppose you could be right; it could be someone who hated and wanted to hurt one of the parents for some reason, rather than a predator.
At this point, if Terri IS involved, it's that she brought someone into their lives who harmed Kyron.
I do not think she was directly involved, nor do I think she orchestrated any harm to Kyron.
I could be wrong, of course. I may find in the coming days or weeks that I've changed my mind---again. But as of now, while I'm still on the fence, one foot has been firmly planted on the "terri is innocent" side.
I've got a foot planted right next to yours, Calliope, and for the same reasons.
I was fairly sure that Terri's alibi was going to be proven to be false in large part. To see it be proven, piece by piece, that she was telling the truth, is very revealing on several levels, and bringing more peripheral stuff into question.
What in God's name happened to Kyron, and who in God's name did it to him?
