Kronk Discloses More Information About Finding Caylee's Remains

Well, since when is a concerned citizen searching for Caylee on their free time something strange or suspicious? The oddity is that he didn't go back on his free time. It would be perfectly plausible for him to see things that raised suspicion during work time, then return to actually find the remains on his own time.

Instead we get this weird protracted story that has all the urgency of cold molasses. Toss in a dead rattlesnake and the need to pee.

Good thing he didn't confuse the snake with his.......oh, nevermind.:)

I just wish one person in this case would do something simply because it's the right thing to do and leave it at that.

Wouldn't that be nice !

Last I heard not a single person from WS has made a dime off of this. Multiple ground searches, countless hours spent mapping cell pings that we have been told were utilized by TES and even the F word that we aren't allowed to mention, all took time and effort by people whose heart is in the right place.

Right now MN is up for a hero award in my book, I wish others would take a lesson from him.

Maybe he took a pic of the bag.If it;s the skull though I will faint.20.000?It HAS to be something worth buying, not sure though if I wanna know what it is.

I honestly can't see how they can have a trial. Every witness that gets put on the stand will be discredited because they made money on the case.

However, WFTV's legal analyst Bill Sheaffer told Eyewitness News that the meter reader, Roy Kronk, could end up helping Casey's defense.
"The prosecution has to be very nervous about a key witness such as he going on national television and making statements," said Sheaffer.:chicken:

After watching Krunk on GMA I tend to believe his story.

I also think that the officer who went out in August probably assumed that the area had already been cleared & had it in his head that there was nothing there before he even talked to Krunk.

The officer probably checked out a dozen other tips & thought that this was just another false alarm.

He should also get something for putting up with all the accusations & basically having his name dragged through the mud.

No wonder he wanted to remain anonymous

RK is credible - IMO

I was relieved to see that the pic was of just a rattle snake. Prob the one he referred to in other statements.

I've given alot of thought about him "selling" this pic. I've come to the conclusion that it really doesn't amount to anything. We all know "other people" in this case have made a WHOLE LOT MORE for, what I feel, really despicable reasons. RK had to take time off (prob without pay) to travel to NY for GMA, plus the trial is coming and he will undoubtedly be taking more time off then as well. The expenses to fly to NY, get hotel, eat, etc. can add up. So, his lawyer cut this deal.

We have all heard that these shows don't pay for interviews - so someone probably said does he have a picture? Well, no - not really - he didn't photograph the site - BUT WAIT - come to think of it - yea, he's got a picture of that dead rattle snake he talked about. So, ABC agreed to the payment for the snake pic which allowed RK to travel and give the interview and recoup some of the losses from time off work, etc.

Just watched the interview with Kronk (thank you Patty G!)

IMO, he is a decent, honest man. I found him very credible.

I believe him..Totally!..I also believe when the defense tries to destroy this man on the stand they'll be destroyed in the eyes of the jury..and this will happen over&over..from their opening statement to their closing arguments..Bring it on!

Well then the defense better not call Dr Lee or the others on the defense team that been on different shows
LOL I thought the same thing! The defense expert witness star-studded cast will have huge credibility problems!! (Aren't these the only people the defense are going to call?! Last I saw the list was at 3, but could rise. How many of those will not be paid for their one-sided or slanted testimony?)

There is nothing wrong with Kronk or anyone else going on national tv. They are not the ones on trial here. LE has their sworn testimony and any evidence they obtained through them. This will be backed up by other people's accounts and other evidence.

Someone asked about how did he see the bag if it was under water: my guess is that at that time, the bag may not have been completely submerged... so that is how he saw it. By the end of the month, though, the hurricane had hit in that area, in turn, probably totally submerging it. TES entered the picture after Hurricane Fay, if I am correct... if they went there, they would not have seen the bag either...

Orlando Sentinel

Should we stop the rumors that LE was brief because of a snake?

"The man who found the remains of Caylee Anthony said on national television this morning that Orange County deputies were uninterested in following up on tips of a suspicious bag he found near the Anthonys' home."

Hmm,discrediting LE again.
And what on earth was THAT suspicious about that bag????Is it such a big secret???
note to myself:try and stay away from meter reader threads.
NOBODY is THAT nice. That's what I think.
No,I don't believe he had anything to do with Caylee's death,no,it was Casey,BUT the circumstances of the finding and all the calls and snakes and stuff, the fact that such a man in such a situation wasn't curious and didn't go back......

Maybe he took it home to see what's in it.Noone would have left if that bag was SOOOOO suspicious.Ok,I am done, keeping my mouth shut. But I don't trust this man.

WOW  deputieS (plural....as in more than one!) spent an HOUR!

What the:confused:

Not only did they spend an hour - Kronk was there to meet them. He would have had the opportunity to point to the bag he saw two days prior.

The man who found the remains of Caylee Anthony said on national television this morning that Orange County deputies were uninterested in following up on tips of a suspicious bag he found near the Anthonys' home.

That is about Aug 12. If the Sentinel is correct about the 1 hour investigation... there was no "uninterested" about it on Aug 13.
