"Two blown tires" gives me pause. First I wondered if they could they have been shot out?

Then I saw this flyer saying he had been in an argument with the person he was last seen with, and it looked like the vehicle had been dragged to where it was found. Uh oh, went from sounding bad to red alert for me:

@swanniee11 I was typing at the same time. I think this might be the rabbit hole you mentioned lol. I hope it's OK to post it because it came from an MSM link (KAKE), but ?? I do try my hardest to stay out of trouble!

KBI agents think Patton may have last been in an area along the Neosho River, between 20th and 60th roads along Wallace Road.

Investigators are asking that fisherman, hunters, farmers and hikers to frequent that area report anything suspicious they’ve encountered that could be connected to Patton’s disappearance.

I don't know if this is in the area, just checking local news. Praying!

So the 7th St Bridge is around 39.075450,-94.624660

The location of the field is around 37.252184, -95.222080

It's more than 150 miles north of where his car was found. While it's possible he was harmed and taken somewhere else, IMO it's probably someone else. (Perps tend to bury their victims nearby, with the numbers dropping further away from the site.)

There is an "area" outside the town of Labette called Liberty. If you google Liberty, KS Labette County, you will see it. I live not far from where this is all going on, and realize it's easy to miss unless someone lives around here. Please pray for Dakota's family.

Did I get the area wrong? My coordinates for the field are in Liberty, Labette County, which is just south of Parsons, KS. The general area I got that information is from the story on Kake https://www.kake.com/story/48827412...h-search-for-labette-county-man-dakota-patton

Also, welcome to WS.

@Angela_SEK Waving at ya. I grew up in the area and friends of mine had a cabin on the Neosho River near Strass. Was the river high when he went missing?

No, you didn't. First post, so I'm still learning. I wanted to make sure everyone on that reply saw that there are actually two Liberty's in Kansas. And thank you for the welcome. I've been following this story both on the news, and locally. So much more going on than people know. It's just heartbreaking. This will not end well.

No, the river was very low. I believe it's been said they were out on the island the night he disappeared. So even though they are giving a semi-specific area on the latest update, there is a whole lot of river and dirt roads between 60th and Liberty.

The family of Dakota Patton has been desperately searching for him since his disappearance on April 25th. The last time he was seen was at a gas station in Parsons, where he was in an argument with Clint Nibarger, who allegedly threatened him.
Patrick Patton, Dakota's brother, shared with reporters that he heard Nibarger make a chilling comment about his brother. "Where Clint said, I'm about ready to get rid of that boy and they'll never find the body. And that was the last time Dakota was ever seen again," he said.

May be a update soon. KBI has some area near Xavier and 20 th blocked and taped off. Prayers for the family may prayers be answered
Check Patrick's Facebook page. He updates everyone whenever he has something new. I do not have FB anymore, bittersweet. It seems FB is more up on the current news than the news is anymore.

The Find Dakota Patton FB page has multiple updates, including posts from family members. I'm sure it'll be in MSM soon as well.

Searches of the name mentioned in the previous post directly above this one and that person's female 'associate' (varying titles given to his exact relation to her) of a few days is now arrested and held on a no-bond out of state hold seemingly related to DP's case. I'm sure we'll see CN added shortly. Sheriff's Office - Taney County, MO

Unfortunately FB is the place to get news first and fast. I've seen so many families say that's how they learned of a loved ones death. That's horrifying.

LABETTE COUNTY, Kan. - The Labette County Sheriff's Office says the body of 23-year-old Dakota A. Patton, who was reported missing, was found in a field in rural Neosho County, Kansas.

The police report indicates that Patton was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound.

Deputies say that Two suspects, Clint W. Nibarger and Kimberly J. Thomas, both from Parsons, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.

Kudos to LE for the fast arrests of the two conspirators.
