50 miles East of El Dorado, KS would be where they were looking near Neal, KS earlier. I think this probably is her, sad to say.

The preliminary physical description of a body found east of El Dorado matches that of missing college student Emily Sander, El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said.

Boren said the body was found around 2:20 p.m. Thursday, about 50 miles east of El Dorado, where the 18-year-old Sander had attended college and was last seen leaving a bar with a man who has been the subject of a nationwide search.

This little angel is the niece of my coworker. I cannot tell you how sad and helpless we are all feeling right now. Emily had just been to Texas last week to visit my friend, her aunt. Please keep this family in your prayers. They are devastated. They have been told more information than is being released and it is not good. I pray they have answers soon.

I feel so bad for all of you. She's so young yet. Way in over her head in this world. :(

well... i had a feeling this would happen.. it seems like the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 acted impulsively and probably was very sloppy in disposing of her body while making a quick getaway... so, at least they found her quickly without having to look all over and wait and wonder. hopefully now at least they can get a specific cause of death and prosecute this brute to the fullest.

i hate to say this... but i wonder if she was resorting to even more ways to make money.. which is why she was at the hotel with the guy...? either that, or involved with drugs and he was a connection.... whatever it was,, it was no good.

her poor family... they are probably shocked out of their minds. if they only knew,, i bet they would have tried to help her.

i have no doubt they will find the animal soon. too bad he's already procreating.

reannan... good for you for trying to speak honestly and help your friend. please don't give up.. you may get through to her yet. it is definitely a slippery slope she is on.. the longer she goes down that road the more bad stuff she will get involved in, and the lower her self-esteem will become. if she were to go to school she could learn some other ways of making a living. but the longer she stays in it, the more stigmatized she is going to feel, and the more ashamed of her 'double life'... and the harder it will be for her to get into a more legitimate line of work.

I haven't been able to pull up the sites that she is listed on BUT - don't forget there are all different types of "🤬🤬🤬🤬" she could have done the "soft" side which has a huge following but the "models" are fully clothed.

I forget the poster (and sorry, but I"m way too lazy at the moment to look it up) that said someone who was in the biz should just go to school and get something else. I agree, in a great world, that would be all it took. BUT, from someone who has "been there" it IS more than just money.

It sounds wrong, but when your are in that 19/20/21 year old bracket, bogged down with bills, school and "real life" well, the money is fab. AND, contrary to most popular belief, you don't feel like a piece a meat if you're in the right establishment and or environment. As far as the web stuff goes, if you're just into the photography aspect, it's not like you have everyone and their brother sitting there in the room with you! Could I do it now? No way, but I don't regret it. Taught me alot about people. A person can make you feel cheap/small whatever, whether, you're clothed, or unclothed, IF you allow it. Anyways, my point is -
You are going from a situation where (not always the case but was in mine)
there is lots of money involved
you're treated literally like a goddess
you have a following
no issues w/ bills.
Schedule is on your time so fitting in school was not an issue. and blah blah blah.

And then you go to ..being treated like crap at a 7,8,9, 10 dollar an hour job. Struggle with your bills etc. Is this every scenario? Nope, but My former best friend is the biggest alcoholic, promiscuous, people user I'll probably ever meet in my life, and she never once remotely took her clothes off as a profession.

Are there horror stories? Of course, but aren't there those everywhere regardless of where we look? And no, I'm one of probably the few ones, that doesn't feel that by being in the sex industry you are asking for more trouble than the "average" person. To me that's like saying person x had too much lipstick on so she deserved X.

Wow - Ok - my novel is over. My main point here, is I don't want to see this poor girl "forgotten" about, or the person who did this get a lighter sentence because of what she did for a living or for fun. I mean NO offense to anyone, and hope that I don't come across as hostile or evil!:truce: honest - I am here in peace^^

JJ.. thanks for sharing your POV and you certainly made some good points.
and of course, who wouldn't want to have easy money compared to working at a crappy low wage job? that was exactly my point,, that it's a sad state of affairs in our society when the way that women can make the most money (as in, 100's of times the amount, in comparison!) is when they take her clothes off.
however... personally, i still couldn't sleep at night knowing i am encouraging the addictions of perverts all over the world (along with some perfectly normal guys too) who are objectifying me.... and then there is the drug aspect of the industry that seems to be inevitable. just bad and illegal stuff,, all around. i know there is a movement in the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 industry where some people are trying to make it a 'cleaner' business.. so i guess that's a good thing.... and i think it's jenna jameson who was the first to really take control of her own career and so on.... but still, it just has that seedy aspect, no matter what. i mean how would you feel if a friend, a relative, a teacher, or some other person you respected and looked up to, found your page, and they obviously saw it was you? what if it came back to haunt you later? i guess the money aspect just makes all that go away?
money comes and money goes, but your reputation and self-respect.. you can't put a price on that.

p.s. also remember that not all regular jobs are crappy where you get treated like dirt.

Lol not all jobs, but honestly, in my neck of the woods, at that age, the good jobs, (treatment or payment) weren't highly available! However, I landed the best job, (made excellent money, full benefits, and was considered a government employee) by, guess what? one of my "clients" (he was the city prosecutor and landed me an awesome internship at a firm in the city..I had school and experience to go with it so it wasn't based on my current job ;) lol)

The drug aspect is/was there, but I find it no different than any dance club/bar etc. I'm one of the ones of the opinion, (and yes, they are not probably always the best lol) that if you go looking for it you can find it..regardless of what it is. I was never hassled for not indulging, and I was actually shocked at some who chose to use (I would have NEVER guessed)

Yes, there were a couple of awkward moments (the bar hosted the xmas party of my dad's plant, luckily it was a different shift than what he worked!) BUT as it was told to me aby one of them...Do you think *I* want to admit I was here/partaking/looking etc? So...it's just as embarrassing for those "caught" as can be for those "up there".

I never thought of the perversion aspect of it, maybe because I didn't feel I was doing anything wrong? Or maybe I was just lucky and worked in a "good place"? ( I can still go there and feel totally at ease lol) Or maybe I'm just too damn open minded (been called that one too heh)

I'm not trying to justify itor change your views, I can totally understand and respect your views and opinions, just trying to give a flip side of the coin so to speak?

Prayers for Emily's family, and for the safety of Victoria Martens.

JinxieJada, I really admire you for telling your story. :blowkiss:

no, i understand jinx.. you are definitely giving a good flip-side point of view, i can respect your opinions too and again- you brought up some very good points!! and to clarify what i said earlier.. not ALL jobs are crappy low-wage jobs, but... more and more of them really ARE these days,, with wages stagnating while the cost of everything else rises, and more and more labor rights go down the toilet... but i guess no matter how poor and broke and desperate a young woman is, it just depends on their individual personality (along with other things, looks,, etc).. if they will 'cross that line', or not.... some people are more comfortable with it than others. i just wish the one way to make the most money (for women) didn't encourage some of the worst behavior in men!

Wow - I just realized I took up almost a quarter of the page about my experiences instead of what this page should be focusing on! I'm am so so sorry!

*duh - leaving quietly * :bang:

don't be sorry... not much to talk about now that she is found and it had an unfortunate ending.. so all we can do is try to understand how these things happen in the first place. thanks for sharing your experiences.

speaking of which...i haven't found anything new...anyone else seen anything this evening?

i noticed it does say, in one of the latest articles about her, that they feel his relatives in vernon, TX (where he headed after murdering her) may know where he is. stupid bastards. that's it,, stick up for your murdering relative! great sense of family ethics you all have there!

  • #37
How close is Vernon to the border? Bet he has gone to Mexico already. He is on the run and has that pregnant 16yo with him. (I wonder if she knows how much danger she is actually in?)

  • #38
i agree. i hope they have border patrol keeping a close eye out, of course he'll probably hide in some scummy relative's trunk as they go across.

  • #39
Aww i hadnt heard about this. Its sad that she most likely was murdered by him...& its sad that she will be known as the "internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬 girl who died". Not alot of people will feel the same amount of sympathy for her if she wasnt involved with internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬, which is not fair.

You hit the nail on the head... I just logged on to find that CNN listed things as this on their front page:

Body Found in search for Internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Star

... and then lead the article with this title:

Police: Body found appears to be missing 🤬🤬🤬🤬 star

This angers me... this young lady, though leading a double life, was much more than someone in the internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬 world... and it was only the last few days that it came out that she had been doing 🤬🤬🤬🤬... and LE is reported as saying that her internet activity was not connected to her death. If LE is taking that stance, then in the end, it will more than likely show that her 🤬🤬🤬🤬 status was irrelevant to her death. But yet, this bit of information has taken the forefront of who she was... because sensationalism sells. Sometimes the media just really ticks me off when they choose sensationalism over dignity and respect in regards of someone's death.

My heart goes out to this young girl's family. No matter what she was into she was much loved and I'm sure that they are just devistated. It's hard enough to lose a loved one but when it is by the hand of some creep it makes it so much worse. I hope they catch the killer soon and that the pregnant girlfriend is alright. In reading her MySpace it doesn't sound like her relationship was going well in Aug with this killer. I hope he hasn't decided that he doesn't want the responsibility of her and a baby and they find her dead in a ditch somewhere along the way.
