Not surprising mom has a drug problem and it is too bad it is too late for people to start admitting they knew about it.

Evan Brewer’s family: ‘He did not deserve this’

http://ksn.com/2017/09/05/evan-brewers-family-he-did-not-deserve-this/

From the article above:

Brewer’s attorney did provide KSN with documents to show the extent of Carlo’s efforts to save his son ‘from a man determined to terrorize a child and his family for financial gain

What financial gain? Did I miss something?

What financial gain? Did I miss something?

I had to go read another article for clarity...they are referring to child support they received for having the child.

Well, now we know for sure -- we knew -- bless his little heart. But it is over for him now. He is at peace and at rest and surrounded by only good things and much real love.

Now we should begin to see some probable cause affidavits, some arrest warrants, and some court dates. Grrrrr.

I cannot imagine how helpless this family felt. :(

Family say Evan Brewer’s death was unstoppable despite attempts to save him

Family of Evan Brewer say that they knew in March that the three year old’s death was inevitable.

“I have said since march that Evan was going to be murdered, it was clear that was the course that was going to happen,” said Shayla Johnston.

NOT feeling very sorry for the "mother"...... If Bo Dumb __ (fill in the blank) beat her as well... then why didn't she kick him out or take her child and just LEAVE ?

Of course there may be many mitigating factors at work here; but once a person hits you , or does something to your baby-- your first instinct should be to get out !

i know being caught in a cycle of abuse is prohibitive and scary but I HAVE been in abuse and I can say w certainty I would have murdered anyone who hit my kids. I was a single mom for 13 years and didn't being every swinging Johnson around, its not that hard! standards is what its called.

I think this was more about drugs.

Bodine says he last saw Evan in May but will not say where he saw him. Miller refused to speak to the reporter.

Man at center of investigation into Evan Brewer's death says he didn't do it

Deb Farris: "Did you realize they found brewers body in Miranda Miller's home?"

Bodine: "I saw that on the news."

Deb Farris: "What did you think when you saw that?

Bodine: "Mix of things."

Deb Farris: "For example?

Bodine: "I don't have an answer for that."

Deb Farris: "Did you kill Evan Brewer?"

Bodine: "No, I did not."

Deb Farris: "Did Miranda?"

Bodine: "Not that I know of."

When we asked Bodine about the concrete structure in which police found Evan's body, he quickly ended the interview and walked away. Police are still waiting on a cause of death in the case.

WHY!!!! are they not charged yet???

It is Wichita and if the coroner cannot determine a COD, I will not be surprised if they are only charged with abuse of a corpse.

No words.

How a landlord discovered Evan Brewer’s body when no one else did

At first, Dwayne Haukap recalled Tuesday, “I overlooked it.”

It was a big slab of fairly fresh concrete, covered in carpet and tools in the laundry room, Haukap said.

After he took the carpet off, he saw that there was an improvised structure beneath. Based on his construction experience, he estimated it held 1,000 to 1,200 pounds of concrete.

“And that made no sense to me,” he said – that someone would set up a structure like that in the laundry room.

The concrete was around 20 inches tall, a little more than two feet wide. It had been poured into what looked like a work bench that had been turned upside down, with the legs up. A plywood form contained the concrete.

It had rollers on the bottom but looked too heavy to move. It left grooves in the flooring when Haukap tried to move it.

How could they not be charged with murder???? Who else poured 1000lbs of concrete in their laundry room? One cannot live in a tiny house and not notice a huge lump of fresh concrete set in the laundry room.

There is no way they should walk away from this without murder charges. Neither of them reported that poor child missing and she was in custody of him.

UGGHHHH---this is making me so angry ----

I hope they are charged. I am still stinging over Jhornee Bland's death and the lack of any type of charge related to her death and am afraid the same will happen with Evan.
