Yes, I just looked up physical evidence at Encyclopedia.com good, informative article.

can you send the link where they stated they found forensic evidence........

 • #304
Had they of found forensic evidences...it would of said both forensic and physical evidence was found at the crime scene.. guess what it only said physical evidence..

http://nij.gov/topics/forensics/evidence/dna/basics/pages/identifying-to-transporting.aspx

Physical evidence includes biological evidence and or DNA evidence and or forensic evidence IE: Blood can be tested for DNA, hair strands
can be tested for DNA, Sheets, pillow cases with semen stains, condoms, can be tested, a weapon...fingerprints on a glass
or any other item that can be processed for fingerprints. This is forensic evidence for heaven's sake! See the article above and look at the chart!!

I am not really wanting to argue I just think there's a reason they did not say forensic evidence, also they don't have a time of death. I think I know why they don't one of the rumors would make sense to why they can't get a time of death, to say they have they suspects finger prints or dna, blood to me is giving the community false hopes, I feel this person knew what he was doing right down to making sure they couldn't get a time of death, I think he knew what he was doing to try and cover all his bases, and that is a scary thought. Sorry for being so argumentative,

We all want to see whoever did this get what's coming to her/him.

You know more than we do. That can be good and bad. Most of us
are dealing with what we've read and it"s not a whole lot. You're dealing with what you're hearing and what you've read.

I find it very hard to believe hoever, that someone can come in, murder her (she was found in her bedroom but that doesn't necessarily mean she was murdered there) and get away with leaving no traces of evidence whether it be blood, hair strands, fingerprints, cigarette butts etc. I don't
believe anyone is that smart or that lucky.

I'm going to go outside the box a bit. I noticed the comments after one of the news articles. People can get real hepped up about what they call "puppy mills". They appear to care more about the dogs than the brutal murder of their owner. (who was known to have treated her dogs well.)

Could it have been an angry member of Peta? Or another competitor dog breeder? Or someone who hates "puppy mills"? Why leave behind the dogs though. Or why not set them free or take them? Did
they leave behind a "calling card?"

Was this walking a new thing of hers? Was losing weight something new?

I looked at her FB but there really wasn't much there. I'll try another one and not her personal one, maybe?

Don't be discouraged! 😊

Good post, Razz! But we do know there was plenty of evidence for the investigators to collect. I only remember one person, who was on FB, naturally, who had the audacity to call Lori's business a puppy mill, and other people shut her mouth pretty quick. I think anybody, with the exception of somebody who is a vegetable could tell there was no "puppy mill" at Lori's house!

Nothing new in Salina Post today. Looks like they ran yesterdays story again. No other updates.

This article specifically states that DNA is "biological evidence, not physical evidence" Located at bottom of 5th paragraph - http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G2-3448300449.html

I read Missimple's response last night before they disappeared. I believe this is the person you may have been referring to.

http://www.salinesheriff.org/InmateResults.aspx?BookingID=-145539&pg=h&ji=-18263

Because he's not a POI or a suspect, we can't slueth him. I do find it interesting however that he was also booked on Premeditated Murder and Capital Murder. Don't know what or who they could be referring to and/or maybe it's a misprint or who knows. But it is interesting.

Say this person is someone they are interested in but they feel 2 perp's were involved. In order to get the 2nd one,
they need to lay low.
Or, maybe there's a bigger conspiracy here that involves a wide range of bad characters.
There are cases where the police have put out misleading info just to get the perp's to let down and do or say something stupid. See WS DanMarkel case.
I remember being very angry with the Tallahassee cops as I felt they'd let opportunities slip by. Well, 2 years later, there's been an arrest and we've learned that the cops were right on it from the beginning. They used the media to confuse other, bigger fish if you will. I am amazed and grateful they worked with their cards so close to the chest.
Is that happening here? I have no clue. Would I be surprised? No, not any longer. Patience is tough.
Especially in these matters....but it often pays off.

Yes, that guy was arrested for stabbing two men in Salina shortly after Lori was killed. I mentioned his arrest early in this thread. Not sure what page, probably pg 2 to 6. Whatever day I made that post was the day the arrest was in the paper.
I sent SCSD an email after he was arrested, hoping they were seeing if he was in any way linked to Lori. I am sure if I thought about it, they did too, but it just made me feel better to send the msg.

I know you did. 😊 I was responding to a post from Missimple's that has since been erased and it was in reference to the man you posted.

Cool! You might be able to pull a few articles up in the Wichita Eagle.

Nothing in the Salina Post regarding Lori.

 • #316
I didn't know we were not allowed to talk about other criminals that were in that area.

 • #317
Why do you say that Miss Simple? Even criminals that could have possible committed this crime?

Yes - page 2.

I was looking for current status on this guy and couldn't find anything.

Has he had a bond hearing or a date for a bond hearing or a date for anything else?

Information about him is very scarce unless I'm not looking in the right places.

About that blue truck. If nothing else, why didn't he call PD or SO and say, I have an unknown blue truck that's been parked outside my house for the past month. Could it be connected to the murder in Assaria? I believe that would have perked up LE.

And even though sluethers here
don't think so, what could it hurt? If nothing else, it brings publicity to the case and as someone mentioned maybe it's connected to other nefarious
activities.

You made some great remarks. From what I understand, the police checked out the PU, and ran the tags, and it hadn't been reported as stolen. I was surprised it has not been impounded.
Saline county jail does have a website listing all persons currently in custody and what their charges are. I don't know if they give any info about court hearings, etc. You might try to see if there are websites for Saline county court, and Saline county district court. I personally haven't been down that avenue myself.
