KS KS - Lori Heimer 57, murdered in her Saline County home, 25 Jun 2016

Follow-up to my comment from 2 weeks ago -

Oct 20 post on the FB Public Group:
. . . our family's fundraising efforts have concluded as of Saturday, October 15
Do we know why the fundraising events are ending? They've done a great job.

It could possibly be because they have been so busy with everything they have wanted to accomplish, and have done a great job, and now they know its time to slow down and take some very needed personal time. One of the girls said something on FB about keeping busy with the fundraising activities in order to avoid some of the grieving process.
I remember when my Granddad got sick, I knew in my heart we were going to lose him, but rather than face the facts, I pushed it to the side, hoping if I didn't think about it, maybe it wouldn't happen.

Well, SSDD.

Nothing new in Salina Post about Lori today, however, a man arrested with the initials of RSB might be worth gathering more info on! Definitely doesn't give the impression of being a nice person.

Completely agree with that. Might have more info on him tomorrow.

40 plus people booked into the county jail since Friday afternoon. Will be interesting to see how much info comes out of all these arrests and if any of it might raise an eye or two.

I noticed a man with initials RSB, who, if guilty of what he was arrested for, certainly fits the type of person who might be responsible for Lori's murder!

Certainly could be.

Probably not related since they are not searching for a suspect but one never knows.

3 found dead in rural Harvey County

I always thought Kansas would be a peaceful place to live, other than an occasional tornado.

The article states:
Walton says the scene is secured and there is not threat to the public. He says this appears to be a "targeted event" and not a random attack.

Um. where have I heard that before. Do they know who did it.. I am gonna get me one of them Hinky meters and learn how to use it.

Normally, Kansas seems pre5y safe and layer back. But then, some loser throws a big monkey wrench in an otherwise nice place to live. The sheriff said last nite he had somebody in mind, but they were not a suspect at that time. Said there would be an update this morn. Maybe somebody will start a thread on this. I don't know how! I don't believe this is in any way R/T Lori's murder, tho. If it was, I think her death would have been a drive by shooting. That's what these three murders seem to be.

Nothing today.

Nothing today.
Seems like so many cases have gone cold. Must be immensely frustrating to the families.

Well, SSDD. Are we EVER going to hear something encouraging?
