Bingo I don't see any other way, unless she was also lying to him and saying she was now a paid nanny or something for Lucas.
:facepalm:jmo

This to me seems like a very possible scenario. She lies to make herself appear to be a good mother/caretaker so she can see her boys. Correct me if I'm wrong or may have missed it, but I have not seen anything pointing toward physical abuse by her towards her sons. The issue of custody and visitation involves drug use. Since her anger seems directed at JH as evidenced by the violent arguments, it takes me back once again to wondering if she neglected and abused little Lucas as a way to get back at JH. She must have been boiling over if her ex told her he was going/had been to the police 're the incident of Feb 4. I know the majority feel this was accidental due to neglect however if that's the case, why wouldn't Emily have said Lucas was very sick and she was overwhelmed with the move, caring for the kids, etc., and that he died from that? Now it looks way worse for her imo.

I also am one of the few that don't believe all of Lucas bruises and injuries were at the hands of EG. I fully believe she knows more and I believe the house and people the children were exposed to was a volatile environment.

Why do so many believe he is so close to home (I don't know what to believe myself so I'm curious).

It seems odd that if he died of an untreated illness she would give the story that he just walked away. If that was to explain why he'd be found so close to home, why would she want that? How would that help her? He just walked off and died of natural causes? If she hid him well close by, why would she do that? I mean, why hide him at all? That kinda complicates her "just walked off" theory unless we're to believe someone covered up his body for some reason. Is that why she mentioned the 2 suspicious strangers lingering near her home? Why would anyone see a sick or dead boy and hide him? It doesn't make sense.

If he did die from untreated illness, I think she would've called 911. Used the defense that she didn't realize how serious his illness was.

Anyway, I guess I still think she delivered some sort of final blow that necessitated carefully hiding his body. JMO.

I haven't decided whether I think an illness of a contagious nature actually killed him, the illness was really an injury/poisoning of some sort, or she's just heartless and didn't really think or care that he was that sick. I am thinking she blamed him for being sick and the inconveniences it brought upon her. Then that state of anger is what set her off and caused whatever the critical event is that lost Lucas.

I'm not entirely sure why she's never mentioned it, but I think that if she considered it an innocent detail, it would have been mentioned. I would imagine some version will be worked into her narrative soon.

Exactly! LE has never, to my knowledge, said anything about a cell phone ping, only that their reason for searching there came from a tip. In my opinion, "a tip " is more likely defined as information from a person, not an electronic ping. And I also agree that now asking people to search their properties and how much it's been shared could prove to be very helpful.

If we went on a hunch in this case lord only knows where we would end up. There’s 37758462 different scenarios to date. That is why I love WS. Factual. If I could personally search every square inch I would. If he’s out there I just want him found. Breaks my heart. I do know that if LE said there was a tip up there and there’s been multiple searches hopefully wasn’t going off if a hunch or a bogus tip to divert other areas being searched.

I thought the boys told their father that JH is the one that hit him? I will have to go look at the docs again.

The boys did tell their father, and he said that when he called her she first said she kicked JH out, and then blamed it on the boy’s’ behavior and then hung up on him (from the court docs as visible in the news video)

I'm kinda on the fence also because VI PB said it would be interesting to know who else was arrested around the same time as EG.
Jmo

I mentioned this out of sheer curiosity - not any inside knowledge. I guess we’ll need to wait until tomorrow morning to find out more about the charges.

Speaking for myself, I believe it's likely that Lucas' body isn't far from his home because statistically many so-called "abducted" and murdered kids are found near the last place they were seen. There are exceptions - Malik's body was dumped about 40 miles away but it's noteworthy that the property was an abandoned liquor store familiar to the dad. Or Ara, who was dumped about 130 miles away from dad's home.

There's also an element of wanting to dispose of the body quickly, which IMO is why we often see a child minimally hidden, like Caliyah or Sherin or even Lonzie, who was dumped under a pile of old tires right next to a street.

And I agree with you that Lucas didn't die from an untreated illness. This year's flu season would have provided an ideal cover as there are stories all over msm about people dying from complications even after seeing a doctor. Besides, facing a potential neglect charge is a much better alternative to having to clean up a crime scene, hide the body and come up with a solid alibi.

IMO people hide a child's body because there is incriminating evidence that will contradict whatever story was given to LE. Even advanced decomp can't hide a fractured skull or broken or healing bones.

From what I've read in msm it appears that Lucas was a victim of long-term abuse and it makes more sense to me that it escalated to the point that Lucas was injured beyond help. Heck, I'm not even convinced Glass would have been so worried about losing her other children; it sure didn't stop her from her violent outbursts in the past.

All MOO.

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with something? I was wondering if someone knows about cold cases in the Wichita police department? Cold cases involving murdered or abducted children and directly through WPD? I have done some research on it and could not find a single cold case in Wichita for children but I am not sure if that is accurate. Maybe I am not searching right? I know there are a few in surrounding areas but I am thinking that the police department in those areas would be the ones working those cases not WPD. Thank you.

Also, I would like to add that if anyone has read The Daily Haze, please do not base your thinking off of what was written there. There were people who did not give their permission to be named or used in the article and most of the info came from a drug addicted and bitter ex.

Jaquilla Scales.

I assume Vincent Moore is considered cold as well.

Agreed. The only way I find a natural death possible. Is in the panic & short term sight of knowing the trouble she'd be in, as hardcore addict. I don't know if there is evidence of that. I know drugs of some kind were used at some point. Noted in court documents released in MSM reports. Knowing the extent of the drug use would be helpful in finding Lucas IMO as well. Was it panicked act or a more planned act?

Thank you so much for clarifying this!:)
I'm so scatter-brained I was thinking the next court date was Tuesday the 13th.

I would think you’d almost have to zig zag around on that route to miss cameras, right? As weird as it is I dropped my son off at a friends house last Saturday. There were a couple of trucks parked by the side of the road on 143rd pointing N looking at maps. Why I’m just now thinking of this 8 days later who knows. You can take that route via dirt roads to Greenwich to 111th without hitting cameras I think. I’ll go that way as well. There’s just so much land and space. Ugh.

Stay with the idea that it will be close to the road with easy access. It was dark with no moon.

Additionally, I think helping to dispose of a body would be considered "Felony Accessory after the fact" or something like that, iirc from the 4 bodies case in Bucks Co Pennsylvania, as well as Nicole Lovell's case during initial charges of the female involved.
I've never been involved in anything illegal & certainly never something as high profile as disposing of a body, but every time I have ever found myself in hot water, I called my husband or mother first. 2nd, I called my best friend. I'm hoping LE & FBI have done thorough investigations on all her family members & each have had their alibi checked out.

First time poster.

I want to say first that you all are amazing! I too have fallen in love with this lil guy. I can’t stop thinking about him. I have two boys and I can’t imagine the pain the family is going through. My heart goes out to you.

JMO I believe it is very possible this was premeditated. She resented Lucas. She lost her own boys. Her BF was out of town and here she was “caring” for his child when she couldn’t even care for her own. I think the move into a new home was a perfect time. New neighbors wouldn’t know her, her kids, their “normal routine.” Sure introduce them but MOO that was for show. Just as the “gardening” was for show. So, IF she did premeditate his murder. I believe she would have traveled farther away from home. I would love to see Swanson Park checked in Maize Rd on the West side of town. It is not your normal Park with playground. It is a huge, wooded, pathway with tons of little paths off the main path. It also has a bridge. Waaaay in the back. Again JMO please someone check this park. I just can’t stomach it. 😞
