Found Deceased KS - Lucas Hernandez, 5, Wichita, 17 Feb 2018 #10 *Arrest*

It might have been a beating that turned into an unintentional murder and she panicked because she didn't want to lose her other kids. She was already treading on thin ice with her ex and their boys. Add discovering she was doing drugs to the equation and she's totally screwed! She's lost her children now probably forever, more than likely lost her boyfriend, etc.

This is what I think...I don't think she intentionally killed him. It was due to her negligence in some way. There have been several theories discussed on here, and I think the two most likely are:

1. She hit him hard enough that it caused slow internal bleeding in the brain or abdominal cavity and he eventually succumbed to the injury

2. He was sick with influenza or strep and she didn't get medical care for him due to the visible bruises on him, and he eventually worsened and died from the illness.

I feel like this may be the main reason that Tim Miller has a Casey Anthony vibe about the case. I don't think Casey intended to kill Caylee, I think she just wanted her sedated so Casey could do whatever Casey wanted, but she ended up overdosing or suffocating her instead.

I am going to jot a few thoughts down before I go to bed.
1.) Obviously LE has had an engineer triangulate the ping, very easy for FBI. If you take that into consideration, that may be why they searched Del Rey Park and Chisholm Creek Park, Nature Center etc. All within reach of towers.
2.). I will be very surprised if she gets out on Monday. I think they have other charges they will bring forward at that time.
3.) They have to have evidence of neglect to charge her- where did that come from? My guess is that they found her on camera - drug deal possibly? Tracked down someone else she met with? Since FBI is involved, I’m not sure an arrest on “said individual “ would be logged on City records if this individual brought forth information and was let go. MOO. It is late (or early) and I have been at this all day so I may not be making sense.
4.) No one is racing to get her out-why? Because they could turn around and re-arrest her, losing the bail money.
5.) Convenient stores around here are a perfect place for drug deals, or to meet up with people. Also have cameras out the wazoo. That’s my bet.
6.). You can be sure LE has way more than we could imagine- they have had her cell phone records and her associates- that phone was her communication, and we do EVERYTHING on our phones these days. Burner Phone? Highly unlikely. I’m still trying to figure out where she was getting money for drugs, much less necessities. Besides selling random goods from the home, I’m not even broaching that subject.
If her boyfriend thought she was innocent, he’d have helped her out.
Instead, her bestie is doing some leg work for her.
In short, I think he is close. I think he is concealed in a blanket and a bag. My gut says water, but most can’t weigh them down properly which leads to exposure.
I have to sleep on this.

Praying today is the day for Lucas. :candle: I'm so relieved that TES is coming back to search. We are stressed and upset, but I cannot imagine how Lucas' family is feeling.

I meant to answer this earlier.
By extrapolation from the various news articles about her visitation, dates and times reported by the neighbor seeing the boys, and the ex&#8217;s court filing, it looks like she has visitation every Sunday for a few hours. (Neighbor saw them 2/11, ex made report of events occurring 2/4, called to reschedule 2/18 visit when he saw news of Lucas missing). As for pickup location that is unknown. All that was said about that was in the Butler County court docs that she had to have a licensed driver with her to pickup the boys because of her restricted license
Given that Lucas was last confirmed by VI seen Friday Feb 16, and her next visit with the boys should have been Sunday Feb 18, did that prompt the 911 call? Knowing the boys would know Lucas *should* be there but he wasn&#8217;t, so the call was made to explain it away? *speculation and IMO*
(Question/ for articles that have been previously linked when I talk about them like this do I need to link them again?)

Thanks for the response, Scarlett. The expected visitation for Sunday does shed some possible light as to when she called and why, imo. Earler someone had asked why she chose to report him missing when she did, as she potentially could have waited/had more time with JH being out of town.

If so, can we ask people to check their cameras on the day we believe he actually went missing? My parents have one, and it will go off sometimes with a car driving by on their street.

I think checking doorbell cameras, home security cameras, game trail cameras (especially those with infrared that work well at night) and all other cameras is important.
We use game trail cameras that upload directly to computers. We use them for watching our farm, a business, personal property etc.
We're very surprised at what we see on them many times.
We've discovered "crops" way on the back of the farm that shouldn't have been there.
Along with the thought of whether EG would place Lucas on private posted land, I know for a fact that marijuana growers seek those areas out.

"The group wants all landowners within a 30-mile radius of Wichita to survey any land, wooded areas, ponds, outbuildings, vehicles*and trailers that can be safely accessed.

The group says observant landowners have been immensely helpful in past missing persons cases.

I'm not sure what her date of arrest is. I haven't looked for her on here yet, but when I was watching it last week (or the week before?) it seems to me that the weekend arrests are added to a weekday one. If I get time I will go try to find her arrest.

I'm way behind in reading, so don't know if anyone answered you. I have in my notes she was originally arrested on Feb. 21st for 2 counts of child endangerment. On 2/26/18 she was charged with only 1 count.

Was trying to respond to this. At least with ours, it captures x amount of images until it starts to run out of space/storage at which point we need to delete some, I think. They’re all a little different I think. Most important piece though is that as we get further away from that crucial time period when Lucas went missing, more and more data will be deleted or recorded over. I would imagine LE would have people near the residence checkin cameras but it can’t hurt to urge those in the 30 radius or even outside of it to check....I think he will be found pretty close by.

I saw up thread where people were discussing how he possibly died. I wanted to put my theory out there. I think Lucas was so sick and she didn’t do anything to help him. I’m thinking along the lines that he may have had the type of flu that’s fatal to children and she just let him die instead of taking him to the doctor. [emoji22]

This is good thinking. If she just let his illness go it could have led to sepsis. This is also a form of horrible neglect which is abuse.
Whatever happened Lucas is gone and I guess she's just staying quiet.
On another thought, PB mentioned that it would be interesting to know who was arrested along with EG. I'm still wondering about that one. Guess it's alright to sleuth privately since a VI mentioned it. :thinking:
