That takes me back to my thoughts about her being arrested 2/21.
Forensic testing takes time. Gathering evidence takes time. She wasn’t giving up any info so they had to do it the hard way.

I agree, I also think it wasn’t until late the 20th or early the 21st after speaking to the DA they were able to have a charge/charges to hold her on. I sadly think they were hoping she would talk.

Been reading since the first few threads but have never posted before. Not Sure this is the correct way But.... from the beginning, LE seemed pretty clear that Lucas wasn't abducted and didn't walk out. It was like they were prepping for a body recovery early on.

EG stated that he always takes a nap at 4pm. I think it is highly likely that she could count on him taking a nap late in the afternoon while she did whatever she liked, including smoking. I doubt she had to even restrain him. More likely he was used to making do. Maybe there was an accident while she was gone. She couldn't simply call 911. Police would more easily find out what she had been doing. Smoking, driving, leaving him alone. Not only would she lose parenting rights of her boys, she would start the circle again and lose her daughter as well. Better to make it look like he was missing and hope they never ask about the day before when she decided to treat herself to some good food and in her mind, a well deserved break. In my opinion, OG wasn't an alibi, it was another nail in her coffin and she knew it. When she says she would never hurt her baby boy, that might be true in her weird warped reasoning. But she could try to make the best of a horrible situation and hope to cover up.

BBM

FLA the VI on the board said that Lucas never napped so I think that's just another lie from EG.

I think we’re all in the same boat. A very frustrated boat... I guess the question is what are we going to do about it?! I personally need to redirect my focus back to the facts we currently have. Unfortunately it’s not a whole lot at the moment. However, I think if we stepped outside the box and looked at what we do have we can find something that might help. (Slightly challenging now that we are to the 12th thread...) Someone said something yesterday that hit me hard - if you have to question what you’re posting - walk away for 10 min and think abt it. If you still question it you probably shouldn’t post it.

Here’s the reality of current events in Wichita. Unfortunately, starting tomorrow the focus is going to be off of Lucas and I’m terrified he will get lost in the shuffle. The NCAA tournament starts in Wichita tomorrow with KU playing. If you’ve never been here you’d understand why that’s a big deal. Lol.

If we can’t search locally we can still post to every outlet possible to keep the momentum. If you can search coordinate with Henry privately on some new areas. If anyone has our backs with maps it’s Henry & GigTu!

We are a smart, talented, resourceful bunch. We’ve got this. We all want the same thing. Bring Lucas home. ❤️

Don’t worry. I’m done. Stepping of the box and starting at Thread #1. [emoji6]

This site indicates that Kansas recommends the age of 6 as a minimum:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/apps/g/page/local/latchkey-children-age-restrictions-by-state/1555/

Which is pretty horrifying to me, but then I see that my state not only doesn't have a law, it doesn't have a recommended minimum age, either.

I cannot even imagine leaving a child under the age of 12 alone, especially today! Back when I was a kid, a lot of us were latch key kids, but there was usually several moms in the neighborhood that were home, just in case you needed them for something or if something scary was going on like a strange car roaming the neighborhood, etc.

Today, most moms work along with the dads, and I can't speak for anyone else's neighborhoods, but mine has practically no one around during the day. I can't imagine a child coming home to an empty neighborhood and not being scared, especially when it gets dark out.

The fact that she left Lucas at home (possibly- that hasn't been confirmed by LE) makes my blood boil. Even if he was sick, he's only five years old- you take him with you and order take out! You don't leave a child that age by themselves, especially in a new neighborhood where no one is familiar to him!

I’m back on page 12 getting caught up from a few hours with my family... as much as I love the WS family ❤️Anyways this may have already been sorted out but the VI states to focus on Friday from 4-6 pm. I don’t believe necessarily anyone saw him just that EG was caught on video without him so that’s the time they are trying to fill?! Maybe no one saw Lucas, maybe JH talked to him on the phone or possibly EG sent a pic to JH of the kids prior to 4pm ??! I’m just thinking outside the box a bit.

Well well well, some interesting developments in the last couple of days. From the latest msm reports and the court hearing today it seems like the endangerment charge is due to Glass driving her daughter after smoking marijuana. The DA hinted that Lucas was not with Glass and her daughter at OG. And while LE hasn't come right out and said JH was out of town when Lucas went missing, in all likeliehood he was.

Hopefully the presence of a homicide detective during Glass' hearing made her nervous even though others pointed out it may not have meant much. I found it interesting that the judge considered Glass a flight risk and declined to reduce her bond even though her charge is a misdemeanor.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/nxs-ksnwtv-... Child Case_1520964691832_36986193_ver1.0.pdf

As an aside, I followed Lucas' case from the beginning, including keeping the local Wichita news outlets' Twitter accounts open 24/7 and was disappointed to see how little was reported on in the early days. So it's possible that LE did much more than we're aware of in terms of searching the house and cars. For sure I believe LE knows way more than they're telling too.

Hopefully Glass will get nervous enough to start talking... all MOO.

Pay attention to the speculations our VI is clicking "thanks" to. [emoji6]

Our VI, FLA, "knows the answer, but for reasons they don't understand cannot say."
I'd say our answer to what we want to know is partially hinted at. JMO and Thankyou FLA

New information in this article. According to Kansas.com it says she "POSSIBLY" left another child at home.

She also possibly left another child at home while out driving under the influence, Hoyt said, without identifying that child.

I'm back to square one on wondering was Lucas alvie before or after she went to the OG because according to this MSM (who I am pretty sure was in the courtroom because they have quoted the prosecutor) it seems its not 100% certain if Lucas was at home alone when she was in OG.

I think you can only see the thanks option on certain platforms (is that the right word?). I don’t see the option when I’m viewing in safari on my phone, but I do when I’m using the tapatalk app.

Okay makes sense because I can’t see it either!!! Thank you!

I keep seeing everyone saying that our VI verified that Lucas was seen on the 16th. I can’t bring her post over from the previous thread (at least I don’t know how to), but here’s what she quoted and write:

I do, but for reasons that I don’t understand, I’m not allowed to say.

Between Friday late afternoon and when Lucas was reported missing. Focus on that timeframe.

When asked if she knows when Lucas was last seen by someone other then EG, FLA writes that she does but isn’t allowed to say.

When she’s asked for some clarity on the timeline leading up to Lucas being reported missing, she writes to focus on between late afternoon Friday and when he was reported missing. IMO, I *think* she was writing to focus on that time frame to base theories on where the searches should be going on (distance traveled, etc.), not necessarily that he was seen during that time. (Hopefully I’m exposing myself in a way that make sense)

I could be misinterpreting that, but I just want to make sure that we have the timeline correct as far as when the last verification of Lucas being seen was.

Maybe FLA or PB could clarify for us if they get a chance?

I am usually using chrome on my phone, but I always click to view desktop site in my browser options because I don't like the way it looks on my mobile device otherwise. When I view on chrome (desktop version) the "thanks" button is at the bottom right side of each post next to "reply" and "reply with quote"

And.... I would pay attention to likes from specific users. These ARE the droids we're looking for.

So glad you posted this because it is exactly what I was trying to say up above - you succeed better than I! Thank you!! The VI’s are filling us in as much as they can without jeopardizing anything later on down the road. And I understand it. Thanks to FLA and PB for helping us out as much as you can. I wish I was closer to help search for sweet Lucas but know not one day goes by I don’t think of him.

Bringing my own post back up- just because I think this is could be more the angle the VI’s want us to go ? We need to fill in 4-6 on Friday until he was reported missing! That’s my take on it. Maybe we need to be closer to OG as far as search wise. Which most of us assume anyways... I do wonder if JH FaceTimed or called and talked to Lucas earlier that day and that’s how we know to focus later Friday- also EG being on camera without Lucas says a lot as well. Maybe no one saw him Friday but talked to him or maybe EG even had a picture on her phone or sent one to JH... I pray that poor sweet boy wasn’t tortured. I hope he knows how many people are rooting for him

Thanks for the link! This is very telling:

O’Connor ruled Wednesday that Glass, who reported her step-son missing, poses a risk of fleeing because of another, unnamed child in an investigation.

O’Connor said that ongoing investigation of the other child “makes Ms. Glass a flight risk, and that is just a reality” that he can’t ignore.
...
In his ruling against a lower bond, O’Connor said he agreed that Glass’s bond was high for a misdemeanor charge. And Glass is presumed innocent, he noted.

But each criminal case has to be considered on its facts and circumstances, he said.
...
And then he brought up Lucas’ disappearance, without using the boy’s name or specifics of his disappearance.

https://www.kansas.com/news/local/crime/article204949454.html

Think about what would take a judge to make those comments... IMO Judge O'Connor is either reading between the lines or is aware of additional information.

The focus should be on the dark hours of Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Focus should be on the time after OG.

SABBM

Holy cow.
That is big news .
So we have a VI saying the 'nap' story is a tremendous bunch of B.S.

Important since everyone's had to listen to her many lies ; and we've had to try to think what she was doing during that 'nap'.
It's possible she's lied about not doing drugs in front of her daughter and her other children, and also Lucas.
If they're (older kids) not too afraid to speak up-- maybe we'd learn more about what was going on in this household ?

EG lies as much as Casey Anthony or Jodi Arias.

Nothing that comes out of her mouth is to be trusted for an instant.
