2 pm? I think you are confusing your time. The affidavit had Emily at OG closer to 5 pm.

Ah okay! Thank you! All of this info I'm trying to remember it all.
I’m going to have to make a flow chart soon!

So its possible that the landlord was in fact stopping by to verify the cat was gone.
MOO.

Omg please do! I can't keep up with all of it. I was just thinking it would be nice to have all the VI info into one post or document to go over it all and keep up with it.

My theory is that whatever happened to Lucas happened after/around bedtime on Thursday evening or early Friday morning. I think EG reported him to be last seen wearing a pull-up because that actually is the last thing she saw him wearing and the truth would be easier to remember than if she were to make up different clothing. I dont believe that he was napping at any point Friday or Saturday. VI stated that he doesnt take naps when hes with them and her account of the afternoon nap as usual during her interview clearly doesnt match with her and daughter not napping during that same time frame when they went to OG on Friday. All that leads me to believe it happened sometime around bedtime or early morning before he would have changed out of the pull-up. I think the cleaning on Friday may be related and smoking in the garage perhaps to calm her down. Unfortunately I dont think he was alive when she took her daughter to OG. I think she either returned home and went out late/middle of the night to dispose of him while it was dark OR she had someone helping her while she was at OG.
Just throwing that theory out there. MOO
I want to thank you what you have done trying to help Lucas. We are all frazzled and confused and searching for answers. The only way I can deal with it is to listen to soothing music while I'm on this thread and even then I have to walk away and let the computer just go blank.I think were all in the same boat. A very frustrated boat... I guess the question is what are we going to do about it?! I personally need to redirect my focus back to the facts we currently have. Unfortunately its not a whole lot at the moment. However, I think if we stepped outside the box and looked at what we do have we can find something that might help. (Slightly challenging now that we are to the 12th thread...) Someone said something yesterday that hit me hard - if you have to question what youre posting - walk away for 10 min and think abt it. If you still question it you probably shouldnt post it.
Heres the reality of current events in Wichita. Unfortunately, starting tomorrow the focus is going to be off of Lucas and Im terrified he will get lost in the shuffle. The NCAA tournament starts in Wichita tomorrow with KU playing. If youve never been here youd understand why thats a big deal. Lol.
If we cant search locally we can still post to every outlet possible to keep the momentum. If you can search coordinate with Henry privately on some new areas. If anyone has our backs with maps its Henry & GigTu!
We are a smart, talented, resourceful bunch. Weve got this. We all want the same thing. Bring Lucas home. ❤️
Dont worry. Im done. Stepping of the box and starting at Thread #1. [emoji6]

He hasn't napped with our side of the family in years. It's impossible to get him to lay down for a nap.
Also, I feel comfortable sharing that he goes to preschool in the PM. The altercation that Lucas's mom and Emily had outside of his school in December occurred in the afternoon, so there's proof that he attends PM prek. If anyone has a link to an article that includes the police report of the altercation that would be awesome.
If he goes to school in the afternoon then how does he also take a nap at this time? In her interview, she made it seem like they always lay down for an afternoon nap.

RSBMThe pull-up thing has always bothered me. When was the last time you read a missing person’s description of what they are wearing where they discuss what kind of underwear they have on?

The focus should be on the dark hours of Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Focus should be on the time after OG.

I don't know about anyone else but I get a bad feeling about this. What if she had locked him in something so he couldn't leave. You know how we hear of those cases of a child being locked in a cages or closets etc.
Without going into details, we really need to have the land owners check their properties if at all possible. There have been 2 articles about the request, but it needs to happen soon.
The family has had a very rough 24 hours. As you can imagine, in situations like this people reach a breaking point - especially with all of the negativity targeting the family.
We’re going to talk to the family again in the morning. It looks like I may be heading to Wichita soon.
From a sleuthing standpoint, I would focus on late Friday afternoon into the early morning hours of Saturday. Lucas would have been transported when it was dark outside.
Lucas had been sick for close to two weeks before he “went missing.” He had a stomach bug the first week and had been very sick. I would imagine his already fragile 45 pound body would have been in a much more compromised state.
Tim was correct when he compared EG to Casey Anthony. I’ve been thinking of Casey’s actions and patterns of behavior - I even watched a show about the case today.
I’ll check back in tomorrow. Thanks for your excellent posts!
Is there a way we can include this message at the start of the new threads, with the other key info?
Okay so I have another theory about what could have happened to him and I am sorry in advance bc this is hard to type out. It slipped my mind about him being sick for two weeks. I can't believe I forgot about that. I apologize in advance if this hard to read.
Paddleboarder speficailly made it a note a few threads ago to point out that Lucas been extremely ill for the two weeks before he went missing. Infact she stressed on this big time. I wonder if by Friday afternoon he was so sick that he wasn't physically able to leave his bed .EG knew that he was nearing his death so she smoked bowls of weed to calm her nerves, got the munchies from it, and just left him there in bed when she and the 1 year old went to Olive Garden. If it was indeed the landlord who stopped by that evening then they'd have searched the whole house for that cat. They see him in his bed (or where ever he was at), assumed that he was just sleeping, and then left. Then later in the dark evening hours-morning hours of Saturday Lucas passes away and EG immediately disposed of the body. This could explain why Lucas was in a pull up also. He would have not been able to go on the bathroom on his own so she was putting pull ups on him. IDK
RSBM
Maybe that's ALL he was wearing ?
Is it possible he was put outdoors for the night -- in only the pull ups -- as a punishment... and sometime during the night-- he died of hypothermia ?![]()
I don't know for sure. Wouldn't that be newsworthy? Is that just how kake cut their footage maybe?
Either way, the folks in the gallery react quite a bit to her leaving.
She gets up around 1:24 in this link if for some reason I'm not the last one to check it out.
