Okay so I have another theory about what could have happened to him and I am sorry in advance bc this is hard to type out. It slipped my mind about him being sick for two weeks. I can't believe I forgot about that. I apologize in advance if this hard to read.

Paddleboarder speficailly made it a note a few threads ago to point out that Lucas been extremely ill for the two weeks before he went missing. Infact she stressed on this big time. I wonder if by Friday afternoon he was so sick that he wasn't physically able to leave his bed .EG knew that he was nearing his death so she smoked bowls of weed to calm her nerves, got the munchies from it, and just left him there in bed when she and the 1 year old went to Olive Garden. If it was indeed the landlord who stopped by that evening then they'd have searched the whole house for that cat. They see him in his bed (or where ever he was at), assumed that he was just sleeping, and then left. Then later in the dark evening hours-morning hours of Saturday Lucas passes away and EG immediately disposed of the body. This could explain why Lucas was in a pull up also. He would have not been able to go on the bathroom on his own so she was putting pull ups on him. IDK

A landlord is not legally able to enter the home of a renter without their consent or unless an adult is home. One could walk around the premises, but not enter the dwelling.

Little word of caution for any who may be planning searches tomorrow. Weather conditions are such that fire danger will be exceptionally high. Even a running vehicle sitting on a country road can cause ignition of a ditch fire (happened before my eyes a couple of weeks ago). Just please be really careful - I wouldn't even eat spicy food.

Continued prayers for FLA, PB & all those involved in the searches and our dear boy's case.

Grabbed this from another thread to go along with my theory above.

Without going into details, we really need to have the land owners check their properties if at all possible. There have been 2 articles about the request, but it needs to happen soon.

The family has had a very rough 24 hours. As you can imagine, in situations like this people reach a breaking point - especially with all of the negativity targeting the family.

We’re going to talk to the family again in the morning. It looks like I may be heading to Wichita soon.

From a sleuthing standpoint, I would focus on late Friday afternoon into the early morning hours of Saturday. Lucas would have been transported when it was dark outside.

Lucas had been sick for close to two weeks before he “went missing.” He had a stomach bug the first week and had been very sick. I would imagine his already fragile 45 pound body would have been in a much more compromised state.

Tim was correct when he compared EG to Casey Anthony. I’ve been thinking of Casey’s actions and patterns of behavior - I even watched a show about the case today.

I’ll check back in tomorrow. Thanks for your excellent posts!

Your comment about the landlord reminded me about EG’s cat that she had to surrender because animals aren’t allowed at the rental home.

O/T - I had the same problem last year with one of my renters. I’d have to pop by occasionally unannounced to make sure there were no animals in the house.

Anyway, Lucas apparently really liked the cat and was sad to see him go. I was told they were planning to get a fish for him so he could have some type of pet.

Oh man, this just breaks my heart into a billion pieces. The kitty was probably his little friend when things weren't going right at home. What a miserable couple of weeks he had before he went missing- sick with the flu, moving, losing his beloved pet due to the move. Then the witch goes out to eat without him. That poor kid, reading this is making me cry for about the twentieth time since he went missing.

While a serious post, thank you for the laugh about spicy food. I think we can all appreciate a lighter moment now and then.

No. You can leave it for context.

PB: had Lucas been seen by a doctor ?! Could she have been poisoning him ?!!! Not sure why my mind is going that way but it is.

Before my granddaughter started attending preschool, a cartoon like notice appeared in my fb newsfeed. It was of a little girl that said “I’m 3 now. I don’t nap. That means you have to get all your s*** done while I’m awake”. I forwarded this to my son.
So true. My son works from home, he was living this. Lol. I have a hard time believing that a 5 year old took a nap that late in the day without a little help. I know this is going back a bit but I just wanted to share.

Paddleboarder, do you know if the landlord would have been able to see into any of the rooms if he/she walked around the house? Would they maybe have been able to see little Lucas through a window? Maybe the landlord isn’t the one who confirmed the sighting of him and I’m going down a rabbit hole...but...

I had this thought too. If the landlord was scouting around the outside of the house could they have seen inside of it and saw him in bed and assumed he was sleeping,

The original intake date was Feb 12 according to a pic a very astute WS posted in a previous thread (#8, I believe)

I just thought of something else as well. Someone mentioned a few pages back how they thought she was telling half truths. As far as the nap goes if Lucas was so ill to the point he couldn't leave bed maybe that is why she's saying he was napping? Like if his body was shutting down then he could have possibly been in a deep sleep hence EG saying he was napping.

Also someone linked to this a few pages back. This is what their house looks like:

Scully was adopted out on the 13th, the day after he was surrendered.
