Not sure. I found a link on Wichita.gov that led to Pet Harbor and I was able to search by zip code, clicked on cat, and clicked on domestic longhair for the breed. Pet Harbor says that he’s been in be shelter since March 11th. Weird.

I don’t think that’s the same cat. This one has only been in the shelter for a few days. The cat’s face also looks different.

He could be sponsored by an outside rescue group. Or be in one of the pet stores or on ahold because he’s being fixed or someone is interested in him. Or they know he was EG’s cat and so they are holding him for his protection.

He hasn't napped with our side of the family in years. It's impossible to get him to lay down for a nap.

Also, I feel comfortable sharing that he goes to preschool in the PM. The altercation that Lucas's mom and Emily had outside of his school in December occurred in the afternoon, so there's proof that he attends PM prek. If anyone has a link to an article that includes the police report of the altercation that would be awesome.

If he goes to school in the afternoon then how does he also take a nap at this time? In her interview, she made it seem like they always lay down for an afternoon nap.

Could it be landlord who seen LH home alone and notified LE therefore they made that report we were questioning the other day?
IIRC, wasn’t the report at 1814 on the 16 th at their residence and then 1814 the next day she reported him missing?

FLA's very first post on Websleuths mentioned Lucas NOT being asleep when Emily took her nap. 2nd post mentioned no longer being at their house, so I took that to mean the original "not asleep" story came directly from Emily?

I’m a close relative of Lucas. He was with his dad’s girlfriend and according to her she last saw him at 3 pm right before she took a nap. As far as I know, he was not asleep and we don’t know him to be a big napper anymore.

He is not known to wander off or leave the house alone.

They just moved to this house very recently.

We just want Lucas home.

We’re no longer at their house, but he had a 12ish hour drive. I’m sure he’s speeding like crazy to get home but I can’t imagine he’s made it yet.

In Emily's interview from jail, the story seems to change to Lucas WAS asleep.

.....Just the fact that I took a shower and we took a nap like we always do....

....and he had fallen asleep after my shower which is why I went/laid down

That’s very standard when they asked to see her phone. That way the covered themselves later on in court. Especially when she was getting ready to confess to something that is against the law....driving under the influence.

I was questioning this same thought earlier and found that she willingly let them look thru her phone. So, I think once they did that they arrested her for child endangerment.

So if EG arrived home from dinner at OG with daughter a little after 6pm, having made a call around 6pm that pinged near OG, and the report was filed at 1814, were the police waiting for her when she arrived home from OG? Or were the endangerment charges retro to the 16th after questioning her on the 17th regarding Lucas disappearing, thus the same time, 1814? KWIM?
