Can a link be posted for the new official Facebook page?

Quick update: the FB page for Lucas will be published as soon as the name change is approved. The name we originally chose was too close to several FB groups.

An email account has been setup for anyone who may need assistance checking their property. It’s [email protected].

FLA and AnaPisces are admins on the FB page.

An updated flyer will also be posted on the new page.

We’re encouraging everyone to use the hashtag #TeamLucas.

(O/T - I’m having some complications from my accident and will be going for testing/lab work this afternoon. I will check in as soon as possible and catch up on missed posts).

We’re still waiting for the requested name change for Lucas’ page to be approved, but the new username has been created. Here is a link https://www.facebook.com/SearchingForLucasHernandez/

More information will be added soon, but just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Also, Nancy Grace is being rescheduled for either Wednesday or Thursday.

Thank you all for not giving up on Lucas [emoji172]

Bumping forward PB's posts about the FB page and the new email... again, we're still waiting for the name change on the FB page. But the username will remain the same as this has already changed.

Hi, I might have missed this, have any of of Lucas' teachers commented? I haven't seen this anywhere...
I don't think so. I've been hoping to hear from his teacher for a while now.

There was an early FB comment by a teacher that was covered in MSM.

https://www.google.com/amp/amp.kansas.com/news/local/article200879254.html
A teacher with Beech Elementary School in Wichita posted on Facebook that Lucas is one of her students, and school district spokeswoman Susan Arensman confirmed that the boy is enrolled at the school.

“Please pray for the safe return of the 5 year old that went missing (Saturday),” the teacher wrote. “He is one of my students and a very sweet little boy. Please Please pray for him and his family. My heart is so heavy right now.”

Honestly it really doesn't matter for people outside of Wichita. It's the ones in Wichita and surrounding areas that need to know and be alert!
If you look on google maps with satellite view you can see that west of Wichita is populated and east is much more green and open. Sedgwick County and Butler County folks ALL need to be checking their properties for disturbances, and trying to recall unusual headlight activity in the dark evening hours of Feb 16. So, the Friday after Valentines.

People watch tv, go to bed, eat late dinner, etc., but if they remember headlights that aren't usually around at that time of night while they were awake, especially if they stopped in a random place, LE needs to know.

Good morning and I like what you are saying. I've always had a feeling the east was important in this case. Thank you for emphasizing these counties.

There are only 3 days where garbage pickup is postponed a day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. In 20 years, they only canceled work one day for ice. Depending on what service they have (I think I saw it’s Waste Connections) Monday is the earliest pickup for EG.

This is interesting...ours is postponed for every Federal holiday. Not that this statement does any good for finding Lucas, just interesting, as I thought that was standard. I've used 2 different private services (we don't have a city run one), and they both did that, so I assumed it was the norm. But I agree, they don't get snow days around here very often. Heck, neither do I. [emoji2]

Just thinking out loud...

I think it matters for people outside of Wichita to know, with the power of social media. If I share to my friends, and they share it, etc, it's likely to get back around to someone local in Wichita who may not know. I appreciate that social media can spread news faster than any governmental or MSM platform today, IMO.

For the record, north and south is also vast and open, and Harvey County, Marion County, Summer County and maybe Geary County should also be on that list. I need to explore the north/south layout more.

Please careful while out driving around. Volunteering and going out on your own time should not be a hazardous venture.

The mud covered car posted above?

So has Wichita been getting the rains? I'm curious to know if anyone else thinks it might uncover our little boy?

Geary would be almost 2 hours I can’t see her coming this far. The highway between there and here is nothing but open fields to many places along the way

I've definitely considered the possibility. Rain also really aids in a dog's ability to smell things, so that could be helpful.
