I was so far behind and now I've made it to the last page. Lol. I love coming back here and seeing that I have a bunch of pages to catch up on. It means people are talking. Yay! On top of that, there seemed to be some really good posts, some good information. Thank you all.

I did want to point out that WPD did mention Lucas during the press briefing this morning. It was at the very end and very very brief but he did say Lucas's name and wanted everyone to know that it is still an active investigation and gave the number for tips. Like I said, it was brief, but there.

I appreciate everyone here! The searchers, the thinkers, the researchers, the VI's, everyone! Lucas will be found soon!!! I feel like he will be!

I believe he will be too. I know myself has logged almost 100 hours searching for Lucas. PerfectingPink has put in 4 times that I think (mostly with her pants on! [emoji23]). And then we have amazing people on here helping us with areas to search, suggestions on things to look for, help with my abuse research, etc. When this is all over, we will have to celebrate finding Lucas because we are going to find him!!!!

Can you share some case names where Facebook was directly involved with finding the missing person or solving the case? I'm not being argumentative, just curious which cases were solved using Facebook as I haven't heard of any myself. TIA.

start with Post 851. I called in information that I saw on FB. Two days later the suspect was caught. It wasn't just one lucky cop on patrol who got him. It was several police departments that had closed in on the area. He had come back to Ohio while the US Marshalls were looking for him in PA.

Well, I had a good laugh googling funny Venn diagrams. I rather enjoyed the simple yet effective "circles" "diagrams" "Venn diagrams intersection" graphic. But these two might be my fav. Batman in honor of Lucas, of course, and "rubbish at maths" bc it struck my funny bone.

Oh Lucas. Luke, buddy. I want you to grow old enough to learn the joys of Venn diagrams and puns and sarcasm! :tantrum: Not fair.

There are so many threads on WS that are absolutely heartbreaking and after reading and following so many of them it starts to feel like there’s not much good left out there. Because of all the good people on this thread who are out there searching for Lucas and searching for anything that might lead to finding him, I know there’s more good than bad. Thank you to everyone who’s trying to help. No matter how big or small it all matters. :grouphug:

Re: the searches. Has anyone been plotting all the searched locations on a map? If so, is that map available anywhere?

All the search information is now confidential. We don’t post about it because we are under a nondisclosure agreement.

SM is where people look every single second of every single day. It is the best way to reach as many people as possible as quickly as possible and over and over again with updates.
Word of mouth is also excellent and SM can also cause some of this.
Feet on the ground, knocking on doors, posters, are all great too! Do it all! Until our little Lucas is found!

LE probably pinged her in the general vicinity, they then looked to see where a body might be hidden and the park was a big ol glaring neon sign blinking "LOOK HERE."

The problem with using cell towers is that they don't give you a precise location, it only puts you in a general area. Unless things have changed the basic process works like this: you have cell towers A, B & C. Lets say each tower covers a 3 mile radius (not all towers do this, some only have one antennae where the signal spreads out in a fan pattern, the tower needs an antennae on each side to provide radial coverage). So what happens next is you draw a 3 mile circle around Tower A, another around Tower B and one around Tower C, where the circles intersect each other is where the person's phone is located. That area could be as small as a city block or as large as a square mile or so. Now lets say Tower A has a single antennae that spreads out in a fan pattern, the entire area covered by the fan where it intersects with the signals from Towers A & B now becomes the search area and that area could easily be between 4 & 6 square miles or more.

Which is why I believe they hit the areas between Woodlawn and Hillside- there are three main towers over there, and When triangulated - hits on the west end of Chisholm Park vicinity. Here is what I don’t know and cannot get confirmation- when was it pinged there (after 6pm?) if not, it’s not relevant (from our VI’s information of Lucas being seen at 5:30 pm on the 16th). If there was a ping there after that time, it is absolutely relevant, and opens up a time frame to work with. It also opens up the possibility of a second persons involvement, as well as evidence being replaced. MOO.

Just to add I as well as many others have laptops, tablets, smart phones etc almost completely devoted to helping search for Lucas literally around the clock, and I have never met the dear sweet child.
But I am continually reaching out and getting great feedback and will continue to do so until Lucas is brought home where he belongs. One way or the other he is going to be found:heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:.

A few reminders seem to be necessary:

Be respectful, not rude.

Don’t SHOUT at people.

All images must have links. No link, no post.

Stick to discussing this case, not FB, Twitter, or other sites/blogs, etc.

Do not request or discuss PMs on the thread.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before. I apologize, if so.

The homeless are very smart. You may disagree until you walk a mile in their shoes. It's takes a tremendous amount of solid work to survive on the streets. Most think they are lazy and uninspired to belong to society. It is exactly the opposite. They are extremely functional in forming small communities. They are loyal to each other. I've followed different groups of the homeless into the underside of bridges, with each section of the underbridge divided into personal and designated living spaces, complete with clothing, food, toiletries, and medication. They are very protective of each other. I've walked with them onto their hidden paths into the rural woods, where a distinctive community shares the secrets of living for survival. A common thread is shared within their residence; survival with no or little money. Often daily shoppers of Dollar Stores and similar shops, they frequent daily the food pantries, kitchens and missions. My brother was one of their clan. He went missing at the exact time that Colton Clark disappeared. LE didn't deem my younger brother as a priority. Every time we posted a flyer of my brother, we also posted one of little Colton. Colt went missing in April 2006. It was the most excruciating experience of my life, the not knowing!; it developed into constant nightmares. The imagination under extreme distress is horrific. Finally, my three sisters, my cousin and I found my brother's body in August 2006 via clues provided by the homeless. They helped pass out flyers and were very helpful. We found him in the secluded and protected paths deep in the woods. Sadly, Colton was never found. I learned a valuable lesson about the homeless segment of society. They remain useful and proud people.

This being said, I asked awhile ago about Emily’s affiliation with the homeless here not too long ago. In the very beginning of this case, it was mentioned that Emily was homeless before meeting and when she met JH. This could also open up a large can of worms. People here, (and you might never even know it) that are on the streets and in the drug scene (pills, meth, heroin), they are known to squat in houses being built, or vacant homes-and not homes in the so-called “hood”. These houses are in the NE side of town and in the upwards of 300,000$ on up. I’m betting she’s got a lot of these types of contacts, and calls on them more than anyone knows. I’m sure LE has vetted any contacts in her phone, but just another question in my mind about her and people she would associate with. I would bet almost anything that the life she led when JH was home, was completely different when he was gone. I wish I knew more about her day to day, Hell, I might even be willing to sit in her pod for a length of time just to figure her out. She has a secret life. I’d bet big money on that one.

Wow i has not read about the homelessness! Do you have a link so I can read up on it more? Like PB said it’s an excellent train of thought, and if she did have help, someone who was homeless might be far harder to track. Interesting.

I think it's a common thing, that when one spouse has a profession that keeps them away from the home for long stretches of time, to have a secret life. I have always thought that EG had a boyfriend. Since we found out about EG leaving Lucas at home to go to OG I have wondered if the purpose of leaving Lucas at home was so she could see her boyfriend. Which leads me to believe that she may have left Lucas home alone often. Imo.

I want to clarify as well, that a “secret life” doesn’t have to consist of being a completely different person when a loved one is around. It could very well look like this:
“ My husband is going to be in town for the next week so I’ll talk to you in about a week”, or muting phone calls from anyone that the person wouldn’t speak to during a time with others around, or downplaying their drug involvement while loved ones are around, or ( this is more applicable probably) just going “off the grid” so to speak for 10 days- easy peasy. And picking up later as most of these types do- there is never a day to day communication- it is an “I have a need to fulfill”, it’s done, so bye bye till I need you again. Or needs the company to do what she needs to do, then gets rid of them because they served a purpose- someone to get high with, feel good, then out the door they go with all the guilt and shame she might feel- out of sight, out of mind.
JMO- Unfortunately I’ve had the opportunity to try to help people like this, and it never works-mainly because they are not totally strung out, live somewhat of a normal life from time to time, and always end up back in the same place. They repeat the same motions- no matter how far in between “their normalcy”. What are Emily’s routines? Who knows her day to day when JH isn’t there? Who is the first person she calls, when no-one that gives her a sense of security is around? If JH doesn’t know this, she has a secret world unknown to even her loved ones. I’m not just talking about best friends, but the “others” per say.

Exactamundo! Link to homelessness? Or it being said that she was homeless.? If you are referring to what I said about squatting in houses, I can’t link that. That’s personal information from people that I have helped in the past- that is street info with street cred. I’m happy to share more about it- it is crazy and happens more than I EVER knew.
