IMO, if EG's family wanted to find Lucas, they would have hired a PI months ago when EG got arrested. EG's family is not related to Lucas. I think their motivation for hiring a PI is to try to cast doubt that EG harmed Lucas. Their loyalty is going to lie with their family member, who is EG, not Lucas, IMO.

My guess? Maybe EG has somehow or other convinced them that JO has taken Lucas and has him hidden somewhere and the PI is suppose to investigate and find him. :thinking:

I guess the question is "why are her parents hiring a PI".
My guess. Not to find Lucas. But to put some BS spin on the reality of it all in case she gets arrested.
Sort of like defense attorneys do.

Who knows- maybe her attorney suggested that they hire a PI to help EG's case. She seems smart as a whip, I could picture her recommending this.

I noticed that too! And I realized some other companies use clear bags also, I think these must be corporate type supply or something because I looked at the local stores I shop and I cannot find clear bags!

I don't think clear bags are used by the general public, I think it is a safety issue for places like jail, hospitals etc. They want to be able to see what is in the bag.

I am curious as to where EG thought JO was living that Friday night. She seemingly was quick to try and shift the blame to JO taking/doing something to Lucas which makes me think the place she picked, at least in her mind, would be a place that LE would/could connect to JO. Did EG know JO was living in KC or did she think she was still in the Wichita area?

I'm starting to think that from Day 1 of JH and EG being together, EG saw JO as a threat (JO says her and JH were extremely close up until he got with EG, so EG would pick up on that) to her relationship and also resented her for leaving Lucas in her and JH's care. Her cutting off communication between JH and JO and taking over that communication for custody issues pretty much cements that mistrst of JO and JH's relationship IMO. I think EG took out her anger. both at JH and JO, on Lucas. People who are SO WEAK as to have such an issue with someone they do not know obviously have a warped sense of reality - so in her mind when she snapped and hurt Lucas for the last time, her mind was automatically like "DAMMIT, NOW I'M IN TROUBLE AND THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF NOT FOR JO". Sorry I'm kind of rambling - just trying to speculate and demonstrate why I think she might have put Lucas somewhere that she thought would implicate JO in his abduction/death.

Those industrial clear bags are also for the inmates remaining to ensure no theft is taking place when someone bonds out or is released. These territorial women safeguard their honey buns.

Well, sad to say I’m back. I was hoping to be back under different circumstances.

Going to take a minute to catch up on this most recent thread to read everyone’s comments.

As for now I will say I’m disappointed in the outcome of the trial but not surprised by any means.

I think we're all dumbfounded that we're still here, wondering where Lucas is. I knew they were going to acquit her because it is hard to prove being under the influence of anything several days later. I do wish that they had done a drug test, if for anything, to at least prove she was using something while being pregnant and taking care of her child along with someone else's child. While I wasn't shocked at all by the acquittal, it just angered me that now she is a free woman. The jury did the right thing, but it still smarts.

I don't know if EG pointed fingers at JO in the beginning or if LE was just doing their job. One of the first questions LE would ask was who is the biological parents are their any custody disputes etc and then immediately locate the biological parents and question them. If EG did learn of the kidnapping plan it just gave her more ammunition, tell LE about it throw out some names and it puts suspicion on JO initially until LE could clear her.

I think the whole point of the Valentine's Day lie was to try and implicate JO, what other reason could there be? And JO seems to be pretty certain that EG pointed teh finger at her straight away......I guess she could be wrong, but IDK if she would be so adamant about that if she didn't have a good reason to be. Thats a good point. There seems to be alot of confusion on the VD thing, originally we thought EG said JO had Lucas valentines day, but in JO interview she stated something different so I am not sure what the deal is with VD. Also what we have seen in MSM is that EG told LE JO last saw Lucas in December, she didn't tell them VD.

Bingo! They are not hiring a PI to find Lucas, they're hiring a PI to cast suspicion in another direction- I believe most, if not all of us here, know what direction they're trying cast the blame.

I know. I really hate all of the conflicting MSM reports and lack of actual statements from LE. I GET IT! Don't get me wrong, I get it and I know why they have to do things that way, but it just makes EVERYTHING so much more confusing for the general public. I'm still shocked every day at how many people truly believe that JO has outsmarted the FBI and has Lucas hidden somewhere and refuse to believe or even listen to other (more realisitic) possibilities. SO frustrating.

ETA: I'm not trying to imply that JO isn't smart. I think she is very street smart and knows a lot more than she lets on, which is VERY smart. Please no one think I am trying to talk bad about her with that statement. :heartbeat:

They’re hiring a PI because their little girl has them convinced she had nothing to do with his disappearance and they have to figure out a way to prove it and clear her name. I don’t think her parents are evil, I think she is lying through her teeth as usual and they are buying it.

Last thread I had asked if Wichita residents were required to use clear bags. I was thinking along the lines of if Lucas was disposed of in a garbage bag, what color would the bag be?
I asked because some communities I know of require clear garbage bags. If you Google clear garbage bag laws you will see what I am talking about. Either way....it makes sense jail would require the use of clear bags.

fir the strongest evidence possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if she were arrested for pit use endangering unborn baby. And anything else LE has that’s not public. I think they were surprised at verdict yesterday with her admission.

Id hate to think she has been reading all the info here and on other social media.

Phone records show she was at the restaurant from 4:53 to 5:43 p.m. After she got home from the restaurant, she made dinner for Lucas. She gave both children a bath, put them to bed and had a video chat with Hernandez, Lucas’ father.

She did Facetime with JH on Friday evening according to this.

IIRC, there are only two turns from the house to get to OG.

Interesting, if she did rely on GPS you think she would’ve mentioned that. “I don’t know, I used my phone” and if that were the case, it would be stored on her phone. Which could’ve happened.

Or she said she doesn’t remember because OG wasn’t the first place she stopped. Maybe she needed a drug run first. And then had to get to OH from there. Now wouldn’t that be damning— driving with a kid while high AND making a drug run with a kid. This is just an idea, no facts behind it.
