I'm about halfway through listening and transcribing this interview. It's all very weird to me.
JH is as cool as a cucumber. He offers nothing beyond the answers to Nancy's questions. Zero elaboration.
'No, no it did not.' 'No, no she did not'
He is given SO MANY opportunities to condemn EG. Not just say he's not supporting her anymore. He takes none of them (so far, at least)
NG refers to EG as his girlfriend, present tense. She is not corrected.
He continuously refers to EG as 'emotional, distraught, and panicked'. When she discovers Lucas missing. When she sees JH for the first time afterwards. When she woke to find Lucas dead. I can't help but feel like he's making excuses for her.
At no point in time have I heard where he has pressed her for more detail than she offered to him. NG seems to be trying to pull more detail out of him, she seems incredulous at the same. No dice.
He may well be on some meds, and I would never fault him for that, but meds don't explain all this bizarre, IMO.
I can't help but feel he is far from done with EG.
SO. WEIRD.
eta- I haven't seen him say he's not supporting her, actually. Just that he doesn't believe her story about her waking up to Lucas being gone while the door was open.
