I'm going to need to reread the wordings in articles.
Did LE say that the LL came by EG's home during the time she was at OG? Did they say this is the same time the LL spoke with Lucas? Did LE say all of these occurred on the 16th?

I agree it’s one of the worst timed stupidest badly worded comments I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a lot. Designed to confuse and certainly incite. Someone should be on unpaid leave for a month. Just dumb.
They are trying to cover their backsides.

I believe this was all covered in the big Wichita Eagle article with the timeline put out by LE/DA, but could be mistaken.

I don't get it. I actually love Nancy Grace because she fights for the victims, but WHY all the interviews right now, so soon??
NG being a former prosecutor, certainly knows of the potential in jeopardizing this case. It would be devastating for Lucas to not have a fair chance at receiving justice!!
Thank You!

IIRC there should be information about that in the affidavit for the endangerment charge.

In the actual endangerment trial I think it was only from EG's statement that the LL called her on the 16th while she was at OG, she went home and met the LL there, and at some point she gave Lucas fried chicken pieces (or something similar) and fries. But in the trial they were trying not to mention Lucas so I don't think the LL talking with Lucas was mentioned in that.

Playing devils advocate, cause I am not sure what to believe but....all green text by me.

Could it be that the reason LE dropped the Lucas charges at the time they charged EG for MH is because they knew...he was already dead and thus she did not abandon him at home at that time.[/QUOTE]

It would make a lot of sense.

She had a guest Friday* night who never saw LH. I highly doubt she’d kill Lucas and then invite a guy over.

I also struggle with believing she hid him that night when there was a man at the house who was very cooperative with police and denies even seeing him.

I also believe that she would’ve BOOKED it from the OG to her house if the landlord was at her home and she was hiding a body inside. Instead she took her sweet time.

If Lucas was alive and the landlord was there, She should’ve booked it as well. And she didn’t. That’s puzzling.

I don't understand how EG could have had a guest stay over on Saturday night when she called LE around 6pm on Saturday to report Lucas missing and would have had LE crawling all over the house that night?

Haven't read whatever happened in the last however many hours since I was last in here, just swinging through to say

Funny when certain folks feel it's pertinent to speak up and say certain things.

Real funny how that happens, only WHEN it finally happens...

The part they read out in court didn't say anything about actually meeting the landlord after Olive Garden. It skipped from talking to him on the phone on her way home to cooking for Lucas.

Do we know when the guest was at the house? Saturday night would’ve been after she reported Lucas missing to the police...

David M brought up the guest on NG... so take that as you will. We have no official LE confirmation.

When DM brought up the houseguest, NG asked him if he thought she was trying to use the houseguest as a fall guy and that maybe the houseguest was there after Lucas died. DM said to the effect of he thought that very likely.

But that would give very little time after the LL leaves to kill Lucas and then dump the body and find a houseguest for the night? Unless she picked someone up very late on her way back from the body dump?

I’ve always thought this scenario a possibility. She mentioned baths in her written statement. It was a key part of her timeline. There are always hidden meanings in people’s lies. Even liars experience stress when they lie. That’s why it’s difficult to fabricate an entire direct statement. Their lies include deceptive tactics such as diversion, explanations before anyone asks for one, virtue-signaling, ingratiation and blame sharing. Another often used technique to lie is by using temporal lacunae deception methods; using missing gaps of time as seen by phrases such as “the next thing I know” and “later on” as well as “after” or any other term that spans time. I predict I will spend some time revisiting her interview and written statements later on. A liar has nothing but contempt for the world and everybody in it. She needs a DOC gif with her name in the dictionary under Liar.

He’ll of a post. You been readin up or jus as book learned as I suspected at the start. Every day I make it a point to learn something new.

Your post today is it. Thank ya. And a thousand likes.

Hinges on cell ping times. Marshburn said she did it in broad daylight.

I'm about halfway through listening and transcribing this interview. It's all very weird to me.

JH is as cool as a cucumber. He offers nothing beyond the answers to Nancy's questions. Zero elaboration.
'No, no it did not.' 'No, no she did not'
He is given SO MANY opportunities to condemn EG. Not just say he's not supporting her anymore. He takes none of them (so far, at least)
NG refers to EG as his girlfriend, present tense. She is not corrected.
He continuously refers to EG as 'emotional, distraught, and panicked'. When she discovers Lucas missing. When she sees JH for the first time afterwards. When she woke to find Lucas dead. I can't help but feel like he's making excuses for her.

At no point in time have I heard where he has pressed her for more detail than she offered to him. NG seems to be trying to pull more detail out of him, she seems incredulous at the same. No dice.

He may well be on some meds, and I would never fault him for that, but meds don't explain all this bizarre, IMO.

I can't help but feel he is far from done with EG.
SO. WEIRD.

eta- I haven't seen him say he's not supporting her, actually. Just that he doesn't believe her story about her waking up to Lucas being gone while the door was open.

JMO, but I hope NG leaking that info about the second autopsy etc. doesn't interfere with LE trying to build a solid case against EG.

I've just got a gut feeling, that info wasn't supposed to be released and now we've got every news agency out there trying to verify the info. Can't be easy for LE. Again, jmo.

Again, I'm glad she's in a "Glass" bowl.
