Don’t put so much weight on it. I don’t even look at people’s stats like that because it’s irrelevant really.

I looked at the top likes one day when the new forum came online, just clicking links to see what was there, and the top like was something like 100,000 and at that point I knew it wasn't a stat that mattered to me!

I really did. But I also didn’t know she did podcasts until this case came up. I only know her from HLN I guess the standards are different.

I guess I don’t get out much so to speak. Don’t judge!! Lol honestly. I didn’t even know THIS site existed until a couple months ago! I wouldn’t of known had I not been so invested in this case I was on FB groups. WS kept being brought up well trashed on , I don’t comment much in groups. But google is my friend so I found my way here.

Whoa

Guys, they referred to LH's case as a "homicide investigation". Does that mean that they officially know the story of him being dead in bed is a lie?
Snipped by me - thank you! I thought I was experiencing some kind of sleep deprivation hallucination and that I was the only one who heard that. I'm not sure if that was a slip or if it was one of his "I'm giving you the information without saying I'm giving it to you" things, such as when he said they weren't charging EG at the time but neglected to mention that they were dropping the obstruction charge and releasing her a few weeks ago.

Honestly I heard it once. Then I haven’t heard it again . I’ve been so confused thought I was imagining things. So glad I’m not the only one who heard that .

I must have missed this while I was typing, sorry! I thought he was still talking about the subpoenas at rhat time
I didn’t hear anything about the notes either. Last I heard was that was apart of the investigation(s) so they weren’t being discussed. How did I miss that ?

Oh good LORD... I had to quit listening to this BS.. and I'm sorry, but NOPE, I have never done anything that would even come close to child endangerment..she was saying, everyone, before us, and after us, could be charged with child endangerment at one time or another, well, let me tell you that NOBODY in my family would ever even come close to being charged with any type of abuse..unbelievable
A little insight into why she is defending Emily.

My niece shot herself a couple years ago. No note. Unsuccessful thank goodness (she did chest instead of head).

The last time i was planning it, it was going to be via firearm, mainly because it's easy to get where I live and I was determined and the stats I found said shotgun to head is most fatal (I didn't want to fail). And I'm a woman. But yeah i would have left a freaking novel most likely.
She is one of the rare ones then, god bless your whole family. I’m so very sorry for your loss, this has to be bringing up some really sad memories :-(

I’m taking myself back to page 7 where I was catching up before my notifications started started prompting me to check the end . Have to check in on Charlee to ! Ugh the kids think they need fed to. I’ll never catch up. I caught up this am and in the short time I got myself and the kids ready and ran errands for a hour. We were 20 pages in on a totally new thread .

Per the site www.lostallhope.com, in 2012 31.2% of female suicides in the U.S. were committed with a firearm.
Statistics must have changed since my EMS day’s. That’s tragic. I was asking some old coworkers who have been doing this for 20yrs and only 2 have had suicide by fire arm in women and it was a total of 5 for them. This is in Texas also so you’d think it would have been higher when I worked on the ambulance due to the ease of obtaining. How sad that it’s become more prevalent. Most of the suicides we saw in women were overdose or hanging. Occasionally we had slit wrists etc. I’ve been to the scene on many males who used a gun and my heart broke with what I saw and the family unfortunately saw as well. It’s not pretty and it’s traumatic even for a seasoned medic to come in on :-(

Your right, the risk goes up when you’re close to someone who commits suicide. My cousin killed himself with a gun and his brother hung himself 3 weeks later. It was awful.
Yes, especially among immediate family. I’ve been to scenes where we were told other members had done so recently. Often times (it seemed anyway) that a only child did so and then weeks or months later, a parent did.

Omg NG didn’t have that Shani person on did she? Why would she ? I always thought NG was higher class then this. I’m missing something those people are just FB drama queens.

I have a love-hate relationship with NG. :) I enjoy watching her shows because she tends to have good guests on that I want to hear what they have to say about the case.

After today's events I am getting terrible flashbacks to the Melinda Duckett-NG fiasco.
