For those that listen and watch news on line, Wichita KSCW, has an early news from 4-5pm Central time. Then it goes over to KWCH at 5 and again 530pm. Sometimes not all the updates on a story are released until later....a bit st each news time. A way to have everyone watch their news.

I’m not a conspiracy type but in my years of working as a medic, I’ve not EVER seen a woman kill them selves by gun. They can but it’s very rare. They also nearly 99.9% of the time leave notes. Long ones. I’m waiting to hear about EG note. Finally, I hope WPD will release the evidence in case now!
I am praying that JH doesn’t now kill himself. When you know someone who kills themselves, your suicide risk goes up and with ALL the trauma JH has experienced recently I hope the police are giving him lots of therapy through victims assistance!

Your right, the risk goes up when you’re close to someone who commits suicide. My cousin killed himself with a gun and his brother hung himself 3 weeks later. It was awful.

Lucas Hernandez Update: Emily Glass left behind three suicide notes, rifle found by her feet, police say

During a media briefing on Friday morning, Officer Davidson the Wichita Police Department indicated that Lucas’ father, 34-year-old Jonathan Hernandez, stated he arrived home a little after 1:30 a.m. to find 27-year-old Emily Glass lifeless from a gunshot wound. According to Davidson, it’s unclear whether her death was a suicide or homicide and will remain unclear until an autopsy is performed.

BBM-- so, it is sounding like JH and EG were still together !! I am surprised that he would still be with her but this is the 2nd article I have read that makes it sound they were living together.

Ok. I just listened to the NG podcast. These friends of EG didn't have anything of relevance to say, just poppycock. They weren't there for any of the events. They're just spreading goofy rumors that don't even make sense. Who would want to align themselves with this stuff?

I’m still behind In threads. If what I’m seeing on this last page is correct that the crazy person on the news this morning is getting her 15 min of fame on NG then I’m feeling sick.

I’m super curious as to what this press release coming regarding Lucas is? This morning they were only staying it’s ongoing investigation. It didn’t appear that anything new was coming out this soon. They were not calling it a homicide either. So many questions. This has been a long long long day for many .

"WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The parents of Lucas Hernandez released a statement on the death of Emily Glass.

Today, Emily Glass chose to end her own life. We are deeply shocked and saddened by this turn of events. Another mother and father have lost a child. Children have lost their mother, and a family will have to grieve someone they loved. We know from experience how heartbreaking and tragic this will be for them.

Guys, they referred to LH's case as a "homicide investigation". Does that mean that they officially know the story of him being dead in bed is a lie?

Big hugs to CR's family that his name is still being drug through the mud.
Big hugs to the LL who is dealing with a huge financial loss, as well as the emotional toll involved in being this close to something like this.
Big hugs to EG's family who loved her.
And a big hug to JH for having been the one to find her. That was cruel, even for her.

I'm very glad they're still investigating, as I think there is more to Lucas's case (and more people involved), and I would like to see them follow through to the end. If in the end they find that EG really did do everything alone, I would consider justice served. I really hope the family feels that way too. I hope they don't feel Lucas was denied justice.

I'm shocked that she killed herself (assuming this IS a suicide). Does this mean she had a smidgen of a conscience?

I think I'm going to skip the NG podcast. Sounds like no new non-crazy information.

I don’t know that she had a conscious .. she just knew she couldn’t do jail.

Then I think they are going to announce manner of death being homicide. Not sure if we'll get COD yet tho. JH said there was going to be an announcement in a couple days. This might be why EG decided to commit suicide last night, before they had the chance to arrest her again, which might have been coming today.

Poor Lucas was on his last nerve.
The tide changed.
She was on hers.
She did not know when someone was coming for her.
Lucas experienced that feeling on a daily basis.

I’m super confused because at the top of the hour the news person First name is Jacob , said wpd told media there would be update in one hour. Regarding the Lucas Hernandez case. However I’m not finding anyone else reporting that. I’m not the only one in this house that heard this on the radio. So it wasn’t just in my sleep deprived mind.
