Beautiful!! Warm, sunny, mild winds. Today winds are supposed to pick up (high fire danger) with chance of storms on Sunday.

I did not mean her boys, I was thinking a cousins child.
The report says V1, V2.
We know one of the 2 was the 1 yr old. IF Lucas went missing prior to 2/17 ( prior to 2/16 even) then V2 could not have been Lucas.

ETA : Police state there was no abduction, and Lucas did not run away.
In my mind the Lucas was not V1 or V2.
The police would have remembered him.

Truthfully, I'm a nervous wreck, been up all night, can't sleep from anxiety. The wind is just now starting to pick up. It's the start to what's gonna be a long day.



I heard you guys got drenched in rain. So far the rain hasn't been too terrible here, I mean it's wet and been raining all night but it hasn't been a downpour. I'm not too worried about the trees falling over, they are old with thick roots, more concerned with the branches and that blasted electrical line.

Deep breaths. Just educate yourself and be prepared. Those winds wouldn't do structural damage unless there was was prior damage/weakness. If your trees are healthy & pruned that is also in your favor. Hang in there!

Eta: Sorry if that came across as rude. By "educate yourself" I should have said to keep up with the reports and things you can do to keep your family safe. NWS has some great online resources that can help.

It doesn't sound like she could support herself, but that wouldn't stop her from screaming at him to get out (but still probably not over abuse of children, imo).

I'm on my phone and they are fuzzy, but disregard my earlier statements about wording bc I don't know where on Earth I got that from. It is very clearly worded! No AGAIN in sight. SMH, sorry.

First I'll just say this when i seen this come to light today it didnt surprise me one bit as i have held back my thoughts about JH this entire time on WS but trust me Ive definitely have voiced them to people whom i talk to about this case with cause to me since the beginning something seemed off but thats moo. Also Ive again seen people questioning the timeline as far as when JH was home or when he left to go back to work and so this incident is said to have happened on Feb.4th and again as i had previously noted back a few threads ago I still find it odd that no one else mentions that JHs bday was Feb. 7th the SAME day that EG states they had moved into their new house (which could just be a coincidence :thinking but id still find it very odd that JH didnt either receive a phone call or face time with Lucas for him to say happy birthday to his dad... and if he did i still dont get why JH never mentioned it in the plead for Lucas interview cause to me that would have been something fresh in his mind and something that if JH hadnt been home for a couple days (if incident is correct JH would have only been gone for 2 days before his bday) but it was only 10 days after when Lucas was reported missing so to me that seems like something i would have recalled and spoke about since it was something that had happen while he was away just before the disappearance unless in fact JH was home again before Lucas disappeared.

So anyways I tried to screen shot and pause the video so i could read the court docs for myself after watching the video this is the best that i could do but...it does in fact state that the incident occurred on the 4th of Feb. and the affidavit was signed on the 28th of Feb. (IMO the date the affidavit is signed is the date the doc was filed)

ALSO another thing i noticed while doing this was that tells me these docs where filed AFTER the news broke about Lucas disappearance is states in the docs

"On Saturday, February.17,2018, I saw on the news that the respondent reported that her boyfriend's son, Lucas Hernandez, age 5 years old, went missing while in her care."

so this tills us that the report was INDEED filed AFTER the disappearance.... this was also reported in the docs after the notation of Lucas missing...

"I called the respondent concerning her parenting time that was scheduled for the next day and she agreed to reschedule."

So this tells us that EG IN FACT did not have her boys the day Lucas was reported missing... as well as JMO cause i cant see the entire report with the news headliner covers it up but it states what the arrangements are in terms of when EG gets "parenting time" according to the court order i can make out one of the times and that is - something to 7:i wanna say 38 pm. and seeing how the neighbor says he met the boys on Feb.11th which is a Sunday and there was "parenting time" scheduled according to the court docs the following day after Lucas' was reported missing which was on a Saturday then EG was scheduled to see her boys on Sunday which would have been Feb.18th and the "hitting incident" occurred on Feb.4th which is also a Sunday so that seems safe to say maybe EG had regular "parenting time" on Sundays... again this is JMO unless other wise noted

I also do not buy or feed into much of the "EG kicked him out" statement... IMO that was just put in there to smooth things over with the Bio dad as Im sure many moms/dads do say things sometimes to kinda keep the peace when it comes to custody battles (even tho this one is MUCH MUCH different in many ways considering the abuse accusations). I think both EG & JH both have anger issues and short tempers...and IMO both have a history with drug use...

Perhaps EG was known to JH as being unfaithful, maybe someone from her past came back...maybe that relationship had ended badly...maybe EG thinks the neighbors saw her #2 at the house and she was afraid JH would hear about #2, so she took a pic and headed it off to JH w/ the stranger story. Or maybe I just read too much into things I have read.

I drove down through there while on a business errand on Tuesday around 5:30 pm. I would describe the street traffic on Edgemoor as continuous, not backed up at all, but one car every 10-20 seconds passing along the street. The side street which is Gilbert, I believe, would be less traveled at all times of the day.

I'm curious as to why we are just now hearing from the father of EG's other two boys.

I'm also REALLY curious as to why their house and EG's vehicle haven't been searched. Usually it's a HUGE deal in a case like this, so unless they are being EXTREMELY stealth about it, I'm kind of frustrated that it hasn't been done.

As soon as I saw that report posted that was my first thought, the boys putting it on JH to protect mom. I can't recall where I read this, probably in one of my psych textbooks in college, but I recall reading that child abuse victims will sometimes point the finger at a non-abusive family member because they trust that person more, they feel the accused won't be as angry with them as the abuser. In that same vein, they will also appear more loving to the abusive step/parent in the hopes that by showing favoritism to their abuser that will make the abuse stop.

This makes a lot of sense.

I'm wondering if there are pictures shown to law enforcement? I am thinking JH probably has larger hands than EG. If that's the case, maybe the police can do a size comparison to see whose handprint it really was?

Now I understand why JH didn't want to talk about the abuse AND the body language with the bio mom when they were interviewed.

So if this happened Sunday the 4th, did her boys see her the 11th? If not, who were the boys she introduced to the neighbor??

Even though it happened on the 4th, I think dad still has to follow the rules of the child custody agreement until the judge rules on something, no? So if this is the case, she may have still been allowed to see them on the 11th.

I have never been able to figure out what Lucas' custody/visitation situation was. Does anyone know when/if/how often he saw his mom?

I haven't seen what the actual agreement was, either. But I know she saw him around the beginning or middle of December, and that was the last time, I believe.

You'll have to excuse me, I am still way back in the beginning of this thread. Trying to catch up!

LE has stated the house was thoroughly searched in the early stages of the investigation. I haven't heard confirmation on the vehicle but LE is taking this case very seriously and I have no doubt it has been searched, as well.

I think we all (myself included) need to be careful to remember that LE has way more information in these cases than we think, and they are under no obligation to inform the public of anything (unless it's a public safety issue). They're in the solving crimes business, not the media business. It always surprises me when something like this happens and there are a couple hundred fb comments about how LE should do their jobs within the first 10 minutes of the news breaking.

The affidavit was notarized on February 28th. Generally speaking, legal documents can’t be filed with the court of record until they are notarized. I’ll have to try to decipher more of the filing from screenshots.
