Historically and up to the present day, people have dumped bodies in basically abandoned cemeteries. Cadaver dogs can be effective in cemeteries, though the environs can confuse them. There is also a strange "killer" attachment to cedar trees.

(O/T, Wow, our Late Great Foxfire talked about this before, cemeteries and cedar trees. I'm serious...

Eta: Snipped from Hannah Graham's thread:

"Concerned mama, there are several old cedar trees in the photos of the location where MH's remains were located. -->*https://www.google.com/search?q=fbi+...2F;300;300

I have learned to never underestimate the motives or antics of a sadistical psychopathic sexual predator/serial killer.. They have a reason for everything they do and everything they say, imo.. No coincidences... Once JM used his innocent victims up and took their lives.. He may have temporarily shown a semblance of remorse..

There are Cherokee Indian, as well as many other legends associated with the cedar tree including superstitions, and religious connotations. Cedar Trees, Death, and Cemeteries go hand in hand. This may very well be why MH's remains were placed at this specific location, imo. Many times there are family cemeteries in rural farming areas near old homesites. They are marked with cedar trees. Unless, a historian, familiar, or a native to the area, one would not recognize these old cemeteries over time due to nature taking them back. Many times rocks with info scratched on them were used as headstones.

Guess, what I am trying to say is that HG will likely be located near an old home site family cemetery, marked by cedar tree/s, for JM revisiting the burial site.. JMO

TRUE Cedar trees are very specific to an elevation, and sometimes a region. I believe they start growing above 3000' elevation.

In Kansas, the known cedar is actually a juniper tree, which is not hindered by elevation limits. Here's an interesting article. (http://www.kansas.com/living/home-garden/article1115621.html)

Unfortunately young children who are repeatedly abused may have stress-related moments of incontinence. Like when a rabbit is scared and falls over. I hate typing that.
IF EG was habitually abusing Lucas, just being alone with her when she was extremely stressed could have necessitated the need for the pull-up.
Poor Lucas:tears:and jmo

From her Facebook: "Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else."

Yeah. Funny how telling your FB can be when something like this happens.

Just so everyone knows, since the tip line didn’t give me the warm fuzzies, I sent it directly to WPD with a description and picture. I’m hoping maybe that will get it a little further. I’m not sure how to get the info to TX Equusearch and might just wait to hear back from WPD if they do respond. I know tips are coming in like crazy and don’t want to be a pest but I do think the cameras should be checked and have a gut feeling something isn’t right. My dad has always told me to follow my gut and some might think the cat might be silly but it’s putting up a red flag for me.

You have done the right thing. I have heard so often in cold cases where they finally have funding to reopen them that the case is cracked with information that was already in the file. It was missed totally or shrugged off as not important, but new eyes checked it out and it turned out to be the missing piece to the puzzle.

Tip lines are often answered by someone pretty much removed from the action of the investigation. However, they do take down the information and it goes into the case file. Hopefully, tips for Lucas are all investigated but I really would hope that for all cases.

On Emily's FB page, there are a lot of outside pictures. Her, JH, the older boys, etc.

We need to see if we can't figure out where these pictures are taken. There's one, with her and JH and it looks like there's lots of trees behind her. I feel like it's going to be somewhere familiar to her.

Let me know if I am allowed to post the pictures I am talking about.

Hi leyash,

First, you will need to include the FB link with any pictures you post. I know the link has been posted earlier in the thread, but it's necessary with each post.

Second, do not post any photos with minor children other than Lucas in them. If EG's other children are in a photo, that photo cannot be posted on the thread. You may post a link to the photo, but not the photo itself. That rule applies for any minor children, for example, if a photo is from the park and there are random unidentified children in the photo, it cannot be posted here.

Awesome! There's a couple I can find that either only have JH or EG in them, or no one at all, so that works. Thank you!

I agree. Pet carriers are hard to carry.

Giving up a pet can be stressful - could trigger sadness, anger, resentment. Could lead to lashing out at others and/or turning to substances to numb.

Just tossing that out there - not really about the cat specifically, but the whole stress of moving, etc. in the days before Lucas went missing.

jmo

Combine that and possibly blaming Lucas (having to move cuz HE was there..too many people in the one bedroom now she has to give up HER precious cat over him) and that maybe JH shoved one of HER kids cuz LUCAS caused some kind of problem. If LUCAS hadn't done x then her son wouldn't have done y and JH done z causing her now to not only lose her beloved pet but her own CHILDREN.... I can see a lot of resentment possibly going little Lucas' way that suddenly boiled over into quick (imo) but violent behavior.
N maybe I'm way off.

She seemed to be into fantasy and new-age ideas. Crystals and healing and "becoming". At least that seemed to be her public persona.
If that is indeed true, then maybe she is superstitious. Believes in hidden meanings, in hauntings and such.
If that is the case, I guess she could have put LH somewhere like Theorosa’s Bridge/109th Street Bridge, Valley Center.
Seems unlikely but one never knows what motivates someone to choose the place.

This link has some info on body dump sites that might be worth reading through, if you're interested in the research side of things

https://publikationen.uni-tuebingen...0900/61373/CD20_Orengo_CAA2006.pdf?sequence=2

A couple of simple things that stand out to me as possibly relevant:

A road out of town.

The passenger side of the vehicle on the way out of town (at least I think that's what it says? That would be the right in the US, so I think that's what it means as that's the side you'd pull your car over?)

A place where you don't feel overlooked by buildings. (The article suggests 200 yards from the nearest buildings as an approximation).

If there's a downhill section by the side of the road that isn't easily viewed from the vehicle windows, that could be a good spot.

The image of the two-sided angel interests me:

Thank you. I’m happy to report that WPD did reply to me stating that they received it. Made me feel a little better.

I think this may have been touched on, but not 100% sure if it's been answered.

Has there been any talk of a lie detector test?

What is a reason that LE wouldn't want to pursue this? I feel like even the threat of one MIGHT make EG talk... maybe...

There have been no official statements made pertaining to a polygraph.

I would suspect that LE has requested all of the parties involved to take one. Whether or not they do so is up to them. LE cannot require a person to undergo a lie detector test as one could plead the 5th and refuse to talk. I am unaware if EG has retained one yet, but any defense attorney will advise against doing so. Due to their unreliability, polygraph results are not admissible in court. However, the answers that you state when being questioned ARE admissible. Investigators will often use lie detector tests to coerce someone into continuing to talk and eventually either admitting guilt or incriminating themselves in some manner. For example, they’ll ask a question, then in response to the answer (no matter whether the results detect deception or not), they’ll state something to the effect of “Well, the polygraph shows that you were lying when you stated that you were ______, how would you like to explain that?” The person being questioned often then gives more information.

Sooo, even if EG did submit to one, I’d guess they got all the information out of her that they were able to get.

Mods, is it okay that if someone finds a photo they want posted here but it has something in it that inhibits it from being shared, can they send me the link privately and i will REMOVE the people?

I doubt she took one nor will she. They are calling her a POI and she is denying any involvement. If they gave her a LD exam she would know she's busted. Doesn't appear to me that she's trying help so why would she take one?

Haven't caught up since the thread was reopened so maybe this is a moot issue. But going back (yes again) to the pull up....if she clarified that he was wearing one so that when found, it would be explained, then Lucas CANNOT have disappeared from the park or the old house as I (and others) speculated. He would not have been wearing a pull up at either of those places so in keeping with the theory that she is explaining the reason he had one on, then the only place he could have disappeared from is the new house.
I can't read back over what I just wrote for some reason so I apologise if the text is truly as rambling as I'm thinking it is :/

Excellent logic

I read someone mention this earlier, and my initial response was going to be "you can't get into the head of a crazy person because they don't think like you". But then I started thinking about it, and tried to "get into that head" myself.

So I googled "best places to dump a body" and came up with some pretty good ideas for maps. I tried to run statistics. I mathematically reversed Rossmos Formula to see if math would determine a likely spot, but no joy there.

So, I stepped off and really thought about it. I know exactly where I would dump a body. Far away, in a place that's soft so would have to be moist. But not water because I know about floatage. I would not want to get caught. I wouldn't do crops or a field or anywhere near homes. No, I would go farther. I'd find a big giant lake and determine a nice remote spot that's easy to get to, not likely to be seen, lots of trees and ground cover, and soft enough to bury at least 2-3 feet down. And here is where I would go.

here or here

Aside from telling you to please delete your search history in case someone you know comes up missing lol, all I can say is wow. The work, time, thought and emotion you put into all this to come up with two very specific places is incredible. Again, just wow.
