To those getting posters to farms and such... can we please highlight for them to call in as a tip if they spotted headlights stopping or turning around in their area that night, Feb 16?

There was a case just a couple of years ago, or last summer, where a large property was getting the grass mowed and a body (of a child I think) was discovered just off the highway down in a culvert, camoflauged by tall grasses.

How are we doing with the bridges?

I also think he could be somewhere off the side of a main road, behind the treeline...or farm field...

Gah this is such a needle in a haystack because she had hours.

Last night I kept thinking that what if no cadaver dogs hit on his scent in the house or car was because she thought he was dead but he had not passed yet. It's a terrible thought but maybe that's why. He might of been in a coma or something.

I wonder...

Good point. Thanks for that request (and a huge thank you to whoever is working on the farm fliers). If only LE could release her vehicle description, or a vehicle they believe may have been used that evening. No doubt they have their reasons for not discussing, and I definitely do not want their case against all involved to be damaged in any way, but it would just be so helpful in find him I think.

I looked at that bridge over four mile creek last week. It’s very busy right there during the day, but I don’t know what it’s like at night. We got out and looked, but it wasn’t easy to park safely.

Ugh, no family member should ever have to do this....:( I'm so sorry, FLA...I know words are such little consolation...

I am reminded of Kelsie Schelling's mom, digging through ditches, etc to this day, to find Kelsie, something no mother should ever have to do.

So angry right now.

Just thinking...maybe they don't want to release a description of her vehicle because perhaps they feel another vehicle may have been involved instead and don't want citizens to focus only on a vehicle like hers that they may have seen. Maybe they just want focus on 'anything out of the ordinary' with ANY vehicle.

What about wells?

Fair thought, but unlikely around here, in my opinion. Wells are typically drilled, about six inches wide, and capped. I've only ever seen one hand dug well while hunting and stumbling across a long-abandoned farm building. It's possible she could know the location of one, but unlikely.

Whether we correctly guess how Lucas died or not, at some point after dark on Friday night, February 16, EG put his little body somewhere.

SAR probably start their searches based on statistics, then spiral out to new ideas from there.

We need to figure out where Lucas is. How can we do that inside this thread?

Is there any way to find out where the child endangerment occurred? The media report shows "Confidential" in the address field.

I know we can't sleuth the grandparents, but do any of them live rural?

Liltexan?

We cannot sleuth family members.

If FindLucasAllen or Paddleboarder wishes to comment on this, that's fine, but they don't have to and no names should be mentioned.

Im just now learning about this case and I agree we need to try to focus on what we can do to come up with ideas on where he could be.

I havent read all the way back yet. Hoping LE has got her cell phone and looked to see if any location GPS information can be gleaned from it.

Same with whatever vehicle she had access to. Lots of car makers install GPS chips that can track where the car is. Hope LE has looked into this.

And of course talking to any close friends she may have contacted. And any SM hints she may have given.

I don't think a cadaver (human remains detection) dog would hit on a non-dead body. Certain chemicals that these dogs are trained to detect are only released after death. A person who is near death or in a coma wouldn't release the same chemicals.

I literally can't go there in my brain. Finding that out would break me, and I'm sure everyone else.

Definitely a possibility. I was also thinking along the lines of: they have another person in mind that may have assisted but need to continue monitoring him/her to build their case and/or get more evidence. Releasing their vehicle information would obviously tip them off to their suspected involvement and could hinder any new information.
