We think that a poorly worded article that was released in one of the first article led to everyone stating that no scent was picked up.

Has anyone seen a reference of LE ever explicitly stating this?

I agree. There was no official report that “no scent was detected.”

The article states that officers used dogs to search the home and neighborhood “with no luck.” I think that’s just a loose statement that means “we haven’t found him.”

There are usually people around these areas. I can't see how anyone could pull this off.

I agree. Even at night, it’s still fairly busy. Truckers stop for the night, people in and out getting gas/supplies. They’re decently well lit, also.. not many hidden places where no one could see what you’re up to. Those would be very risky places.

I have to politely disagree. I actually think it could be important to finding him. According to the VI, he only wore them at night. Also, we're focusing on Friday-Saturday. This leads us to believe that he disappeared the night before. The lack of crime scene tape at the house makes me suspect that it, well, wasn't a crime scene. So he quite possibly died somewhere else, at night. So now we're looking at maybe her sleeping over at someone's house, or at least staying there so late that she put the kids to bed there. Where would she go to maybe party? It WAS a Friday night, afterall. If it wasn't February, I would say maybe an outdoor area and they could've slept in the car. But in winter, maybe someone else's house. Then I wonder who her friends are... and I start thinking that maybe since she grew up in Andover and maybe knows more people there, maybe that's the key.

I'm just rambling now, but my point is, I think it could be a very important clue to actually finding him.

I just want to say I agree that there’s SOMETHING about the pull-ups that constantly raises a red flag for me. I can’t put words to it at the moment bc I’m in the doctors office.

Also the Smoking Man bugs me. I still can’t help the thought that maybe step gf was having a little something on the side (hence the Smoking Man) and she was afraid Lucas was old enough now to rat her out.

Could be, I was thinking pulled over with no car seats.

There was no law about leaving a child unattended in a car, but that was in 2011.

Our Verified Insiders cannot tell us the details, but are telling us that the key times are the late afternoon of the 16th and the time he was reported missing.

That is really all we need to know for now.

I believe the wors station being used as you might use the word situation, but is not. Simular to where a soldier is stationed. There is probably a legal reason for that word being used.

One of the domestics between she and JH was noted as starting because she was sexually assaulted by a male friend. Which seems like a weird thing to get into a violent argument with you SO about, no? I wonder if the fight was because he caught her in a compromised situation, and said it was assault to cover her keister. I know that sounds gross, but I've heard worse. It's the only thing I could think of when reading that, and something about her strikes me as the type to play victim when busted.

What about gas station and convenience stores. Some will let flyers be put in the windows. Of course a lot of people pay at the pump so may not work.

I know- that story has always bothered me. It paints JH in a bad light, so to speak, if they got into a violent confrontation over her being sexually assaulted. It makes him look like an abuser to the reader's eyes. Of course, there are two sides to every story and this may be just her version that was printed.

I'd like to know if J is bio dad of 1 year old. Not that it matters but I'm curious if there was a dna test done since they are not married.

My children are all adults now in their 20's, but I distinctly remember my roommates boyfriend having to have a DNA swab test done before this name was put on the birth certificate. I have no idea if that is done today, as these things have a tendency to change over the years, such as they no longer tell you what blood type your baby is now. They told me with my first child, but after, they told me they weren't doing that anymore.

You could go up 77 like that but that's not where I was thinking. If you get off the turnpike then turn back south at 77 the turn into the lake is pretty close. Nice roads to drive fairly fast. You can drive and get there faster than the map is saying. The roads you are looking at the North part of the lake are very secluded but the roads are bad. It could be done but if we are talking a certain time frame, not too sure.

This is what is confusing to me. I know that this restriction applies to EG's older children, her having to have a driver over the age of 18 driving them when in the car with her. She also can't leave the county with them.

However, does this same restriction apply to Lucas and his baby sister, where Lucas is not her child and the baby is with JH?
