Sad day! I could find nothing on tv last night because it was all about the debate. Not even a quick break in to report it.

Harvey County Sheriff: Gunman served PFA hours before shooting

http://www.kwch.com/news/local-news...man-served-pfa-hours-before-shooting/38207256

Sounds like that's what helped to triggered it.

If that was indeed his motive I truly don't understand it. Why take it out on innocent people totally disconnected from the PFB order?

So he is upset with his ex-girlfriend yet he doesn't take it out on her but those who haven't done anything to him? Why shoot at people before even arriving at Excel?

But then, like I said, I do not understand any of these mass shooters nor their supposed motives.

I did read that no one at the plant knew of his criminal past.

It will be interesting to learn how he was able to obtain his illegal weapon. I sure hope they can track them down too and arrest them for either selling or giving an ex-felon firearms.

IMO

NBC reports that shooter Cedric Ford's girlfriend served him with protection of abuse order at his work. Second time @41ActionNews

Yeah, like he thought the cops there were unarmed. Armed killers could care less if others protect themselves or not. Their only concern is to kill as many others as possible, before they die.

Oh they do care, and that is why they know they have to quickly shoot as many victims as they can (who have no firearms to protect themselves) before the police shows up armed to the hilt. They know once someone shows up armed they are now the one who is most likely going to get shot and killed instead of being able to shoot more victims.

This police officer saved many others from being shot. He really is a hero.

Sheriff Walton: Around 3:30 Ford received a PFA from someone he was in a relationship with. This could be what triggered the shooting.

Since his co-workers had no idea about his past or troubles in his relationship, do you think being served the PFA at work made him so mad that he had to kill the people who found out an ugly truth about him?

Trying to figure this senseless act out....

Sheriff: He's been in my jail a couple times before

Co-workers say he was upset but no more than anybody else that gets served a PFA

I looked up gun stores and the cheapest AK47 costs less than an iPhone. Priorities, I guess.

And they are just as easy to buy as an iPhone. Only in America.

But they are going to die anyway. So why would they care if a cop kills them, or if a citizen shoots them. Their life is over either way. They don’t care. If more people being armed was the answer, we would be the safest country in the world, but we are not.

I think he was just POed and wanted to kill himself and as many people as possible, to make a statement.

Harvey County Sheriff: Protection order served before Hesston attack

Ford was accused of assault by a woman who identified herself in Sedgwick County court records as his live-in girlfriend.

The woman, in a written petition for protection from abuse that was filed Feb. 5, says she and Ford were arguing verbally that day in the 1800 block of South Green Acres Drive when he “became physical by him pushing me then grabbing me.”

“He placed me in a choke hold from behind – I couldn’t breathe,” the woman wrote in all capital letters in her petition. “He then got me to the ground while choking me.” Eventually, she says, he let her go.

A Wichita police report dated Feb. 5 shows that an officer took the woman’s report by phone shortly after 10:30 that morning. The woman, it says, reported a person “battering her leaving visible injuries.”
